I had the lunch set which included shark fin oyster hot pot noodles for 1000 yen. It came with half noodles, rice, pickles, and a small dessert. The value might not be the best, maybe it would be better around 1300 yen without the dessert but with full noodles. The taste is really good and the staff is very attentive and quick.

Friday night at the local festival in Shinbashi. I didn't want to be left without dinner, so I made a reservation online. They had a great set menu which included three appetizers (jellyfish, zasai, bang bang salad), two boiled dishes (spicy dumplings, spicy shrimp wontons), and three steamed dishes (shark fin shumai, meat shumai, xiaolongbao), all for 1600 yen with a drink included. The location is fantastic, right outside Shinbashi Station, and the food was delicious. I might even come here every night. Afterward, I went to an Asian restaurant where one dish and a drink cost over 2000 yen. It made me appreciate the value of the first place even more. Thank you. Next time, I'll make sure to try the shark fin!

I used it for lunch. They had a dish called "Fukahire sour and spicy soup"? I didn't know such a thing existed. I ordered the set without rice. Upon closer inspection, I realized that the amount of noodles was only half the usual portion because it was a set. It was a bit less than I expected, and the taste was very strong. There was supposed to be rice with it originally, so it would have been fine to eat them together. I couldn't find any Fukahire in it, so I guess it was Fukahire-flavored. I ate it smoothly and left.

I visited the Finfoin, a shark fin specialty store in Shinbashi. Just the sound of a shark fin specialty store makes my heart leap with joy. I ordered pea shoots, spare ribs, and shark fin in various dishes. When it comes to shark fin, there are various dishes such as soup, dumplings, and shark fin in different forms, but there are also fake ones made with gelatin, making it a bit of a gamble. Is this place the real deal? With such anticipation, I waited for the dishes to arrive, and I must say that this place is a hit. The shark fin in the dish has a bit of a chewy texture, but it is worth the price. In fact, it's quite cheap. The genuine shark fin has the right texture and aroma, and the dishes are satisfying. Being able to enjoy shark fin at this price range is truly impressive, thanks to Shinbashi and Finfoin. The combination of shark fin in ankake sauce and truffle oil is fantastic. This is definitely a place I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I became a lunch refugee around Shinbashi as all the shops I wanted to visit were closed. I stumbled upon a restaurant and decided to try it out. I had shark fin in oyster sauce and shark fin dumplings. The shark fin was small but satisfying. The oyster sauce had a nice thick texture, which I preferred over the chicken broth. The dumplings had a nice firm shrimp inside and were quite delicious.

The average rating is 3.0, with scores falling between 2.9 and 3.1. The main menu item, Oyster Noodles priced at 1100 yen, has a good flavor. However, the Crab Salt Rice has lukewarm rice. It would be better if it was served in a hot pot, as the sauce is lacking for the Crab Salt flavor. Additionally, the taste is subtle compared to the punchy flavor of the Oyster dish.

You can enjoy shark fin in various sauces at this restaurant located under the JR Shinbashi Station, all at a lunch price. When you order lunch inside the restaurant, you also get a half-boiled egg (takeout not available), which is a great bonus. Definitely a repeat visit, no doubt.

On a Sunday afternoon around 1 pm, I was trying to decide what to eat with my friend who loves shark fin. We ended up choosing this restaurant facing the SL Square under the train tracks near Shinbashi Station. Despite being in an office area, the restaurant was quite busy. We were torn between noodles and rice, but then we found a perfect set menu with half noodles, rice, and dim sum. My friend wanted shark fin soup, but they only had oyster soup available. The dumplings were filled with a vegetable-based filling and served with a Sichuan sauce, which was light and refreshing. As for the shark fin noodles, they had small pieces scattered throughout, not the large chunks you might expect at this price point. However, they were genuine shark fin pieces, not imitation gelatin, which was commendable. The soup had a slight umami flavor from chicken broth or something similar, and the oyster sauce added a nice touch. The jasmine tea served with the set was a nice touch on a hot day. The portion of the half noodles was generous, so I imagine the full portion would be quite filling. Overall, the set menu for 1400 yen was a good way to experience the taste of shark fin without breaking the bank. They also have a good selection of appetizers and drinks, so it could be a nice spot for a quick drink after work.

I visited for dinner craving hot and sour soup noodles after a long time. The thick soup had a nice sourness and the spiciness was mild, so I adjusted it with the table's Sichuan pepper oil. The shark fin had no special seasoning, so I enjoyed it with the soup. The hot pot with the soup was delicious, but the noodles seemed to have not been drained properly and ended up clumping together, making it hard to eat. I wonder if it's possible to order just the soup without the noodles. Even though it's ramen, I think it would be more delicious without the noodles.

I visited "Fukahire Fin Fin" located under the guard of Shinbashi Station on my way to the office in Shiodome. I was interested in this Fukahire specialty store after seeing positive reviews from MyRebi. The interior of the store is still new and clean. There is a communal table, two 4-person tables, and a 7-seat counter. They offer various Fukahire set meals for lunch, and you can also enjoy drinking in the evening. Since it was my first time, I chose their most popular dish, the "Fukahire Rich Oyster Hot Pot Set @1,000 yen." The set includes a hot pot with Fukahire, rice, seasoned egg, bean sprouts, and mini almond tofu. The ingredients in the hot pot were Fukahire, komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach), moyashi (bean sprouts), and noodles. The quality of Fukahire was decent for the price, although the quantity was a bit small. The aged rich oyster sauce added depth to the flavor, making it a great side dish for rice. The hot and thick soup was addictive, especially when you drizzle the Sichuan pepper oil for a vibrant aroma and numbing spiciness. It enhanced the taste with added richness, making it a satisfying meal. The restaurant is conveniently located near the station, not too crowded, and serves dishes relatively quickly, making it perfect for a quick meal when you're short on time. They also offer various flavors like chicken white broth, Szechuan-style, and crab salt, which is a nice variety. Thank you for the meal once again.

Shimbashi is a great location facing the SL Square. This restaurant offers an easy and casual way to enjoy shark fin. You can enjoy dim sum dishes and finish off with shark fin rice or noodles. I tried the crab salt noodles with extra shark fin, but they couldn't add more because there wasn't enough shark fin. The dish is served in a hot pot, so it stays hot until the end. The shark fin may be a bit lacking, but for 1,100 yen, it's satisfying. The dim sum dishes, including the shark fin shumai and grilled xiaolongbao, were delicious even though the latter had mixed reviews beforehand. The location is convenient, and overall, this is a pretty good restaurant.

The place is not very spacious. Surprisingly, despite being in front of Shinbashi Station, it is not very noisy. I didn't even hear the sound of trains passing above. The courses are divided into small portions, which may be due to the pandemic, but it was nice that each person could choose the flavor of the half noodles at the end. You can choose from shark fin, hot and sour soup, or crab salt. Overall, the food was well-prepared and good for sharing, and the atmosphere was calm for the area.

I went to the restaurant expecting to have lunch with shark fin soup, but ended up searching for the shark fin in my dish. There wasn't even a single piece of shark fin, just oyster-flavored ramen. I couldn't help but laugh. I guess it's understandable since it was only 1000 yen!

The atmosphere has calmed down with the situation regarding COVID, so I was planning a gathering. I was considering restaurants in Shinbashi area, which mostly cater to salarymen, making it a tough choice. I decided on this place! It seems to have recently opened as the interior is very clean. They have around 6-7 tables for 4 people each. The course menu with all-you-can-drink option costs 5000 yen and includes 3 appetizers, salad, fried rice crackers, oil-drizzled chicken, dumplings, soup dumplings, and for dessert, almond jelly. The finale is a small portion of shark fin ramen. The drink menu offers a variety including draft beer, except for Tsingtao, and almost anything else you could want. They also have a 3-year-old Shaoxing wine. With this menu and all-you-can-drink option, it's definitely worth it! It's conveniently located near the station too. No complaints at all!

I came to Fukahire Fin Fin for lunch. Inside the restaurant, there are photos of Chef Randa Kei, similar to the style of Chef Mikuni. Chef Randa has an impressive background, having worked at luxurious places like Furikahana, Chikushiro, and Mandarin Oriental, as well as being involved in the launch of JIN SHAN LOU at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. I have tried Chef Randa's cooking before during the Rohas Cafe days and when Kazen opened. Recently, I have been seeing his name a lot with the expansion of tantanmen Ichiryu. I ordered the Fukahire Oyster Nabe Noodles set with a little bit of rice. The dish came in just over 5 minutes, with a clay pot containing Fukahire oyster noodles, rice, zasai, seasoned egg, and a small almond jelly. The noodles had small pieces of Fukahire on top and the slightly thick soup was not bad, but the noodles themselves were not great. I found that putting the small pieces of Fukahire and seasoned egg on top of the rice and pouring the soup over it made it quite delicious. It seems like the noodles were the weak point.

The weather in February was unpredictable, with spring-like warmth one moment and chilly winds the next. Despite the forecast, the temperature didn't rise as expected, making it a cold day when I visited. I remembered coming here last February as well. The thought of warming my body with a hot dish in a clay pot came to mind. There were four types of noodles with shark fin as a topping, but I chose the "Shark Fin Chicken White Broth Noodles (1,300 yen)" this time. The dish had steamed chicken and shark fin in a light broth, and the firm thin noodles were to my liking. The chicken white broth came with yuzu pepper for seasoning, which I mixed in halfway through for a change in flavor. It was satisfying and I left feeling content. When I paid the bill, I received a mandarin orange from Kannon Mountain. I was told it had many seeds, so I ate it carefully, but it was sweet and delicious.

The restaurant was crowded but they informed me in advance that it would take 20 minutes for the food to come out, despite having some available seats. I chose a calm seat where the food would come out quickly, and the interior of the restaurant was clean and had a relaxing counter. While enjoying a beer and a complimentary appetizer, the eagerly awaited pan-fried dumplings arrived, but they were surprisingly lukewarm. They lacked the usual piping hot temperature. Disappointing. The "drooling chicken" that followed was also surprising - it seemed like spicy sauce was poured over cold chicken. It was a shame. The restroom was spacious and clean, but it was a missed opportunity. Perhaps if they had said they needed a bit more time, I would have been willing to wait for freshly cooked dumplings. It seems like ordering something like a hot pot rice dish here would be a better choice.

- Light drinking set 1600 yen
- Beer upgrade +200 yen
- Rich shark fin oyster 1100 yen
Total: 2900 yen
I wonder if shark fin is popular among women? The pace of serving food was slow, but the counter was convenient. The light drinking set for 1600 yen includes appetizers, boiled dishes, and steamed dishes, with an additional 200 yen for beer. The shark fin noodle dish for 1100 yen was disappointing as the shark fin was hard to find and lacked depth in flavor. Overall, it was an average dining experience.

I got full with a light drinking set and shark fin noodles. The restaurant has good cost performance. It's affordable and everything is delicious. Although there is not much shark fin despite being advertised, the chicken broth soup is tasty, making it enjoyable to savor the noodles. There were many solo female customers, but the menu seems suitable for solo male customers as well. It also seems good for groups of up to four people. It looks very convenient. I might become a regular customer.
