The weather is clear and you can reach the restaurant from Shimokitazawa Station in a 4-minute walk. It's not too far from the parking lot, nor is it too close. It's the perfect place to relax in style. The drinks and food were delicious. This time, I tried the Coconut Latte, which was rare and very delicious. The sweetness was just right, and the texture of the coconut on top added a nice accent. There were various types of hot sandwiches to choose from, but I went with the Japanese one (seaweed, egg, wasabi), which was seasoned perfectly and a guaranteed delicious choice for Japanese people.

Shimokita is a town with many cafes. Everyone has their favorite spots, but with so many options, you're bound to find a place that suits your taste. "3rd Stone Cafe" on the third floor of a mixed-use building has a slightly youthful atmosphere. Their menu includes both meals and desserts, with a light and casual feel. The tree sculpture in the middle of the cafe adds a nice touch. The "French Toast (700 yen) + Set Drink (300 yen)" is before tax. It's a dessert-like dish that emphasizes sweetness. The texture of the puff feels like a snack. It pairs well with black iced coffee. The background music was regular Japanese music, but switching to oldies or Dixieland jazz might completely change the atmosphere.

The cafe menu is available until night, so I often go there to relax after dinner. The food menu ranges from cafe-style rice dishes to a variety of desserts. Everything looks delicious, so I also want to go for lunch. The interior of the cafe is pleasantly dim, allowing you to spend your time at your own pace. Thank you for the meal.

Went to Shimokitazawa to check out vintage clothing. Saw a sign with appetizing photos on a street close to the station and decided to drop in. Arrived around 1 pm with two friends, and we were the only guests at the time. The music playing gave off a subculture vibe, and a cool male waiter showed us to our table. We ordered lunch sets with options like cheese omelette rice and keema curry. I had the keema curry, which was thick and chunky with well-reduced sauce, making it tasty. The only downside was that the rice was a bit dry, possibly due to using unwashed rice. The waiter seemed unenthusiastic and reserved, which was a bit off-putting. His lackluster attitude affected the overall experience despite the delicious food.

Today, until the 14th, the Shimokitazawa Curry Festival is being held. The last place to introduce is number 115, "3rd Stone Cafe." It is located right near the Osho Shimokitazawa store. You go up the stairs to the 3rd floor of the building. The 1st floor is a Okinawan bar called "Yukutei-ya." A cute open sign welcomes you. Although it is called a cafe, it turns into a bar from 10 pm and serves alcohol at night. The interior of the store retains the old feel of the building, with a nicely damaged renovation. There is a wooden motif in the center that gives a cozy feeling. During the Curry Festival, I tried the limited-time Thai-style coconut curry. It was served on one plate. It had fried onions on top and was spicy enough. I'm not a fan of the thick texture of coconut curry, but it had shrimp in it too. They are open until 29:00 on regular days, so it's recommended for those who want to drink until late.

I arrived here after searching for a cafe where I can smoke due to a sudden heavy rain. The cakes and drinks are delicious, and most importantly, it's rare to find a cafe where smoking is allowed at all seats. I recommend it to smokers.

A rare restaurant where smoking is allowed throughout. Since it's open late, it's always a relaxing place to end a night of bar hopping in Shimokitazawa.

Located right near Shimokitazawa Station, this cafe is a hidden gem. It's open until late at night, so you can relax and unwind. The interior is small and smoking is allowed, so it may not be ideal for non-smokers. There is also a bar counter where regular customers who enjoy a drink can be seen. The atmosphere can vary depending on the number of customers. The cafe menu offers a good selection of sweets, and on this day, I had the caramel French toast and a cafe au lait. The taste was average. If you want to take your time and relax without worrying about the time, this place is recommended.

I came across a restaurant in Shimokitazawa with a sign that said "BAR time until 5am" and decided to check it out even though it was late at night. The interior had a wood theme with a large tree in the middle, creating a cozy atmosphere. The menu had a variety of options including coconut curry, omurice, loco moco, keema curry, mixed rice, and taco rice, ranging from 850 to 950 yen. I ordered the coconut curry with shrimp and okra toppings, along with a marshmallow latte. The curry was creamy and mild, easy for those who don't like spicy food. The toppings were added on top, so they didn't blend in completely with the curry. The rice was topped with fried onions and parsley, which added a nice touch. The marshmallow latte was served hot and fluffy, with a generous amount of marshmallows. The staff were attentive and apologetic for the noisy atmosphere. Overall, I enjoyed the unique dishes and cozy ambiance, and would love to visit again for the marshmallow latte.

This is a stylish cafe located in the Shimokitazawa shopping street. I was looking for a place to pass the time as my client was running late. I don't know the area well, but I found a cafe with a sign on a building with many trees. I mustered up the courage to go in and found a cozy place with lots of wood. Although it seems to be a cafe mainly for young people, I was pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the wood. I ordered a beer while waiting for my client to call, and then settled the bill. The staff were all very friendly, and I had a good time during my short one-hour stay. I will definitely visit again when I have more time. Thank you for the great experience.

Just a short walk from Shimokitazawa Station on the Odakyu Line or Inokashira Line, head south from the south exit towards the shopping street. Pass the shoe store and you'll find the restaurant on the 3rd floor of the building on the left. Don't miss the sign in front of the stairs as you might walk past it. They also serve lunch. I tried the Thai-style Coconut Curry Curry Festival version and Guinness beer. The plump shrimp, corn, and coconut curry go well together. A must-try for coconut curry lovers. I had a Guinness beer, which is a black beer with a unique taste and aroma. You can also enjoy curry here on a regular basis. The difference between the Curry Festival version and the regular curry is just the toppings, as the base coconut curry is the same. It's a cozy restaurant with delicious food. *The Curry Festival is available until October 18, 2015.

I wandered around Shimokitazawa and decided to try out a nice cafe. It's a bit of a climb to the 3rd floor, so it's best for those with strong legs. The atmosphere inside is stylish and perfect for relaxing. There are window seats, sofa seats, and a counter. The lighting is warm and cozy. Cafes with sofa seats always get girls excited. They offer light meals, juices, coffee, tea, and even beer. This time, I tried a cocktail and their recommended caramel French toast in the evening. My friend ordered a beer, they had a few different kinds. The food was delicious and the original cocktails were also very tasty. Since it's a small cafe on the 2nd floor of a building, if there are already 5 groups of customers, you may have to sit at the counter or share a table, making it a bit hard to relax depending on the time. However, you won't feel rushed. Some people were even working on their laptops. It's a more relaxed atmosphere than Starbucks. The two cute female staff members were friendly and approachable. It's just that because there are only two of them, the food and drinks might come out a bit slowly. If there was a cafe like this nearby, I would definitely make it my favorite spot to visit.

During my stroll in Shimo-Kitazawa, I felt like taking a break, so I decided to explore a café. The menu caught my eye and I ended up ordering my favorite, French toast, made with baguette! I was really excited about it! The modern atmosphere typical of Shimo-Kitazawa was lovely. It might not be the best place for a leisurely chat as it's quite open and conversations can be easily overheard. The seats were surprisingly low, making it a bit uncomfortable to eat the French toast leaning forward. Although the French toast was decent, it wasn't outstanding enough for me to come back just for that. However, the ambiance was nice and seemed suitable for quiet contemplation or solo time.
