I'm not always traveling, just to clarify w, so it's time for a rare Tokyo work meal. I finally visited "Mimoza," a place I've been curious about for a while. The appearance alone is intriguing w, plus they are only open for lunch on weekdays, not even on weekends! (I actually saw them at a certain stadium in the Tokyo area with a catering truck, though w) It's a mysterious place, but I managed to visit during their open hours! So, I decided to try the Nagasaki Medai sautéed in Américaine sauce with pumpkin soup, salad, and a drink! First, the salad. Well, it's just okay, nothing special. The vegetables seemed fresh, so that's good. Next, the pumpkin soup. This was quite delicious. Creamy and flavorful! It was cold soup, which was refreshing considering how hot it was outside, and it was surprisingly tasty. The sweetness of the pumpkin was pleasant. The bread was cornbread, nicely warmed and with a subtle corn aroma. It was so good that I would come back just for the bread alone! This made me look forward to the main dish! It was a sizable fillet, very satisfying! The Mediterranean-style vegetable stew as a side was also quite good! The Américaine sauce was well-seasoned, and the fish was nicely crispy on the outside. However, the slight dryness of the fish was a bit disappointing. Perhaps choosing a fattier fish would have been tastier. Nevertheless, considering the price, it was acceptable. I ended with an iced coffee before heading back to the scorching battlefield! If they improve the quality of the ingredients a bit, it would be worth paying a little more! Overall, it's a 3.5-star rating!
