I ordered a strawberry and two types of vegan cheese curry. I expected a sweet curry, but the sauce turned out to be spicy. The dish was served after about 8 minutes. The aroma of strawberries was very strong. The white cheese was made from cashews, and the yellow cheese was made from soy milk. The curry sauce had a strong beet flavor. Despite its appearance, the curry was not overly sweet, with a good balance of acidity and umami. Combining the white cheese with the curry added a refreshing taste, while combining the yellow cheese with the curry added a rich flavor. Mixing the curry with the strawberries created a unique and harmonious taste. Although I initially didn't plan to use the spicy sauce, the owner suggested adding it for an even better flavor, and it did enhance the dish. Overall, it was a delicious curry that allowed for multiple flavor variations. Thank you for the tasty meal.

Located between Iriya and Minowa, there is a vegan cafe called "PQ's." I had been wanting to go there for a while after seeing it on Instagram, and I finally went. You can order from your own smartphone by scanning the QR code. You can also pay with your credit card.
◆Seasonal Ripe Fig Curry
Cream with a garlic flavor on top of figs. A curry with a strange impression that I have never tasted before.
⚫︎Organic Wild Berry Hibiscus Iced Tea
A flavored tea with a hint of sweetness.

I waited for about a year and a half for the blue curry to come out, and finally got to eat the long-awaited blue curry. It had a vibrant appearance, and you couldn't imagine it was curry just by looking at it, but it was incredibly delicious! There were flavors I had never tasted before, making it interesting and enjoyable to eat. The interior of the restaurant was surrounded by books and plants, creating a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were all very kind and I felt very soothed. When I asked for a second serving of rice, I didn't expect it to be served so beautifully, which made me feel warm and fuzzy again. Thank you for the meal!

To the vegan curry, baked goods, and drink shop PQ's. I ordered the strawberry tart (660 yen). I had visited this shop before when curry was the main menu, but now they have a great selection of sweets. I saw on their Instagram that they had just started a strawberry menu, so I decided to visit on a rainy Saturday morning in April. The Asakusa area is popular with foreign tourists, and there are more foreigners than Japanese at vegan cafes and restaurants. However, on this day, there were no other customers, so I was able to enjoy a relaxing time alone until I left the shop. The strawberry tart I ordered was made with gluten-free tart crust made from brown rice flour, giving it a crunchy texture that I love. The tart was filled with an abundance of strawberries, making it a luxurious treat. The custard sauce, strawberry jam, and the sweet and sour taste of the strawberries spread throughout my mouth. It was both gluten-free and delicious. The shop has a relaxed atmosphere with slow jazz playing in the background. There are plenty of table seats, making it easy for customers with strollers to enter. I heard they have a Biryani night on Fridays and Sundays. In addition to the tart, the strawberry series includes ice pancakes and vegan strawberry curry, available until early May. If you're interested, be sure to visit the shop soon! They don't have a one-drink minimum, so you can enjoy just the sweets. The dessert menu is also extensive, so I plan to visit again for a casual snack time. I enjoyed my visit this day as well. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I had known about this place since it opened, but I couldn't visit until recently when I moved nearby. I finally made my long-awaited visit. I actually had plans to meet a regular here, and they introduced me to everyone and I received a warm welcome. I ordered the last cherry blossom curry of the season tonight. Have you ever seen such a beautiful curry? The price may seem high, but it's a vegan curry and you can have as much rice as you want. I had the same amount of rice as a refill. I thought about getting another refill, it was so good. It's on the sweeter side, so they gave me some extract of green chili peppers in a small cup to add gradually. I love spicy curry, so I ended up adding three cups and surprised them. This place was already a regular spot for me even before I arrived, but seeing many gender diverse individuals made me like it even more, even though I am just a regular person.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. About half of the seats were occupied. I ordered the Sakura curry. Although it may not be visible from the angle of the photo, there is a layer of minced meat between the rice. The curry may look strange, but it was delicious with a mild spiciness and rich flavor. The portion of rice was small, but you can get one free refill, so if you feel like you need more, you can leave some curry and ask for more rice. The side dishes had three varieties, all of which were tasty and complemented the rice well.

Visited before 12 o'clock. There were a few customers inside the café. They offer a vegan menu, with curry being their signature dish. You can try unique curry dishes here.
Ordered items:
- Curry of the month: Sweet potato and yuzu curry for the Year of the Rabbit
- Salted caramel ice pancake
- Herbal tea
- Oat cookie

- Curry of the month: Sweet potato and yuzu curry for the Year of the Rabbit
I tried the signature curry of the month. The monthly changing curry dishes are often unique and artistic, with colors and designs that you don't see elsewhere. This orange-red curry made with organic sweet potatoes and organic tomatoes is sweet and easy to eat. It has pumpkin seeds for a nice texture and flavor accent. Inside the curry, there's a bunny-shaped mashed potato made with home-grown yuzu. The pink pepper eyes are cute. The color of the curry and the bunny seem to bring good luck and are perfect for January. Even though I usually get indigestion from eating curry, this one was surprisingly light and didn't cause any discomfort.
- Salted caramel ice pancake
It's gluten-free. I imagined the brown rice flour pancake to be chewy and dense, but it was surprisingly light! It's moist and slightly chewy. The ice cream is very authentic! Vegan ice cream tends to be more like sorbet, but this one has richness and creaminess.
- Oat cookie
It's gluten-free. The crunchy texture and the juiciness of the oil make it addictive. The more you chew, the more you'll love the texture.
[Service]
There were 2 staff members. They were friendly and approachable, providing just the right amount of attentive service. The lovely smiles and cute staff members were great.
[Ambience]
It's a cozy space with a calm atmosphere. On that day, regular customers kept coming in and enjoying conversations. There were many foreigners, and the staff suddenly started speaking fluent English, which was surprising!

On weekdays, I visited the market on the day of the Rooster. Normally, the restaurant is available for dine-in, but on this day, they only offered takeout. I bought muffins at the storefront, I think they were plain and cinnamon, each costing around 300 to 500 yen. The prices were quite high, but the muffins were huge in size! And they were topped with plenty of cream. They were so soft and exactly to my liking! While waiting at the storefront, they were so delicious that I ended up eating one completely. Later, when I checked on Tabelog, I found out that it was a vegan cafe that was BM certified. The staff were also very friendly, and I definitely want to visit this place again. Next time, I would like to dine in leisurely. Thank you for the meal!

Hello everyone who loves veggies, everyone interested in vegan food, and everyone who loves food topics♪ Today, I visited the vegan cafe ◇PQ's◇ in Ryusen/Iriya as usual and tried their Halloween limited menu. The menu included Halloween curry (drink set) for 1,900 yen, pumpkin latte (can be added to the drink set for an additional 100 yen), and meringue ghosts for 50 yen. The curry itself is made with purple sweet potatoes, which I have tried before, but I couldn't resist coming back for the cute meringue ghosts. I initially thought the latte had to be hot, so I ordered it as is, but another customer asked if it could be served as an iced latte, and the staff happily obliged. I even requested to top it with their delicious vegan ice cream, which resulted in a delightful surprise. The vegan ice cream can be added as a topping for an additional 200 yen until October 31st, so if you're curious, be sure to visit and try it out! Enjoy watching the video for more details.

I discovered a cafe with delicious-looking scones on Instagram that I didn't know was in the neighborhood. The showcase had scones, muffins, brownies, and you could also dine in. Since I had plans later, I got some pastries to go.
- Blueberry Muffin
It had lots of blueberries! The texture was a bit crumbly. Sweet but not too rich, a flavor that would appeal to everyone.
- Sake Kasu Scone & Walnut Spice Scone
I was most curious about the scones! The sake kasu and spice flavors were subtle, with no strong aftertaste. The texture was moist yet crumbly, and surprisingly light for their size. The cafe was spacious, with children's books available, making it easy for families to visit. I would like to dine in next time.

Hello everyone who loves vegetables, everyone interested in vegetables, and everyone who loves food♪ Today, August 23, 2022, is a special day called "Tensha Day" - a day when the heavens forgive all things. It is a powerful day to start something new and a great day for apologies. If you've been thinking about trying a vegetarian diet, why not start today? Clear your body with vegetables and start achieving your goals.
Today, I want to share a video and article about a vegan cafe called "PQ's" in Ryusen/Iriya. I don't usually visit the same place frequently, but I couldn't resist the seasonal limited menu this time. I ordered a mango, pineapple, and coconut curry without the five pungent roots, making it an Oriental Vegan dish. The combination of mango and pineapple is irresistible to me.
I also tried the Vegan Caramel Macchiato Float, which was delicious. The caramel sauce was amazing and paired perfectly with the ice cream. If you have a sweet tooth, I highly recommend trying it. Enjoy the video and article!

Hello everyone who loves vegetables, everyone interested in vegetarianism, and everyone who loves food♪ Lion's Gate continues to open with powerful energy until August 12th. This time, I visited the vegan cafe ◇PQ's◇ in Ryusen/Iriya, where I had been before, to try their seasonal curry despite the scorching heat. PQ's offers a curry without the five pungent roots, making it suitable for vegetarians. I opted for the seasonal curry and drink set, which was a great deal considering the price of the drinks alone. I also couldn't resist trying the vegan ice cream as a topping. Instead of having a drink after the meal, I decided to start with a float to cool down. The drink set I chose included a mango lassi with vegan ice cream on top, which was absolutely delicious. The main attraction was the seasonal curry, which was a pink-beige curry made with peaches and eggplants, and it was also free of the five pungent roots. The curry was surprisingly spicy, with a unique flavor combination that included grilled eggplants and peach marinade on top. Overall, the curry was tasty, and the spice level can be adjusted upon request. The side dishes included enoki mushroom stir-fry, tomato pickles, and cucumber pickles. I recommend visiting on a cool rainy day to earn double points on your LINE Shop card when you become friends with PQ's on LINE. Stay safe and take care of yourselves during this hot weather.

During the previous visit, PQ's was so impressed by the delicious curry that they made a reservation for the next visit before leaving. This week's curry was blue curry! Of course, it was incredibly delicious. Along with the curry, there were three side dishes. One of them was like a scallion paste with coriander. It was really tasty, especially since I've been overcoming my dislike for coriander recently. This restaurant is health-conscious and serves colorful curries each time, all plant-based and not artificially colored. This time, the blue color came from butterfly pea, a plant often used as an herbal tea in Thailand. I use it for baking and making morning tea, so it's quite familiar to me. I looked up how to make curry with it and found that using green curry paste can do the trick. I have a lot of butterfly pea powder at home, so I'll try incorporating it into next week's menu. It's great to get inspired to try new things from a place like this. However, PQ's curry is really delicious. It's addictive. It seems like there are many regular customers, and I can understand why you would want to keep going back. I'm already thinking about when to go for the third time.

⭐️ Vegan Curry ⭐️
Today's curry was strawberry and beet curry. It comes with a side of green chili sauce for adjusting the spiciness. Under the strawberries, there are leeks, garlic, and vegan cheese sauce. I was hesitant at first, but it was incredibly delicious! It has a unique taste, so preferences may vary, but even as someone who usually dislikes unusual foods, I was impressed by how tasty it was. The pink color may make you think it's artificial, but it's actually from the natural beet color.
⭐️ Turmeric Latte (hot) ⭐️
This was also surprisingly delicious! It was slightly sweet and had a unique taste due to the turmeric, but it was a new kind of deliciousness. I was so impressed that I made a reservation for my next visit before leaving! This is the first time I've done something like that. Highly, highly recommended shop.

On a rainy holiday, this cafe is the perfect place to spend a pleasant time. If you come all the way here, why not admire some art? The ultimate Instagrammable curry. They are currently serving cherry blossom-themed dishes, but I requested to see the moon, and finally, I met it. The moon is truly mesmerizing. The curry is not too spicy, perfect for those who don't like spicy food. The use of all the green chili sauce is just right. The side dishes are stylishly presented. Radish pickles, stir-fried bamboo shoots and lemon with salt koji, and stir-fried radish leaves with miso. The moderate acidity and saltiness add a nice touch. The mango lassi made with soy milk is rich and delicious as always. They have introduced new sweets. The sake kasu scones have a subtle sweetness and a gentle flavor. The chocolate blood orange donut from And Bake is also quite good. Their vegan desserts are quite interesting. I will definitely visit again.

A relaxing cafe with an open atmosphere that is soothing. The ultimate Instagrammable curry is the highlight here. I came across a rare "sakura" dish this time. The curry sauce is mild, with a side of green chili sauce instead of spiciness. The ingredients are turnips, crunchy and light. Miso minced meat is sandwiched between the rice, adding a nice touch to the flavor. On top, there is pickled sakura salt. The side dishes include pickled purple daikon, lemon and green chili escargot, and oil-marinated purple carrots. The chewy texture of the oil-marinated carrots is intriguing. It was a fun and fantastical curry experience. They mentioned that they will go back to their usual moon-shaped rice curry next time. For dessert, there was a sakura muffin, moist with just the right amount of sweetness. It pairs well with the mango lassi made with soy milk. This place has officially reopened with new menu items planned. I can't wait to see what they have in store for the future.

Arrived at the shop at 11:25 AM on Saturday. The exterior is a nondescript building like a factory in the town. I had seen colorful vegan curry photos on Instagram from this shop, which opened last year, but hadn't been able to visit until now. Curry is by reservation only until 5 PM the day before. You can look forward to what kind of curry will be served on the day due to the daily ingredients. Inside, there are table seats and sofa seats, with tropical music playing, giving off a Bali-like atmosphere. There is only one staff member, the owner, and one female staff member. When seated, we were served a pesticide-free salad. It's been a while since I had leafy greens with a good crunch. The carrot dressing was gentle and delicious. Next came the appetizers: shiitake mushrooms, soy meat, and butternut squash. The shiitake mushrooms were marinated in oil and incredibly tasty. The soy meat was quite spicy. The butternut squash had cream cheese sandwiched in it, also delicious. Suddenly, a foreign couple entered, and the owner chatted fluently in English with them. The female staff member seemed to be Mexican. All of a sudden, English was being spoken in the restaurant, creating an international atmosphere. Finally, the awaited vegan curry arrived. It was a root vegetable and purple sweet potato curry with turnips and edible flowers on top. The rice was pesticide-free, and refills were allowed. The owner brought over some spicy condiments, saying the curry wasn't very spicy. The curry was creamy, surprisingly spicy, with a delicious taste despite the visual contrast. Afterwards, I ordered seaweed scones and coffee. The seaweed scone was warmed up, and the aroma of seaweed was pleasant. It was a unique experience to be able to enjoy vegan cuisine at a cafe. The food was very delicious, and I highly recommend this place. Thank you for the meal.
