Horigome Ayameen Station is a 5-minute walk from "Sakusho" restaurant. This restaurant, pronounced as "horoyoi," always had a lot of customers, and I was curious about it every time I passed by, but it was a bit intimidating to go in alone. Since it opens early on weekdays, you can enjoy the service time. The menu is easy to read, and it increases expectations for the food. I think I'll go for the top menu, which is recommended. The appetizer is surprisingly "aji fry," freshly fried and plump. This "fresh aji fry" is probably for sashimi, and it is delicious! A restaurant that puts effort into the appetizer is always a good sign. We ordered two servings of the top menu, "Isomori" for 880 yen each. The "kanpachi" has a high-quality fat and the flavor is excellent. The "tai, tako, negitoro, and whale bacon" are also surprisingly high-quality, exceeding the level of an izakaya. We enjoyed the chef's specialty "Isomori" and for the second round, I had a "fresh lemon sour" for 350 yen. The lemon is finely chopped, which is a first for me. With the time service, it went from 350 yen to 100 yen, which felt a bit guilty. I wonder what the "nakaochi shisoage" for 550 yen is like? When it arrived, it was a dish with a light and crispy coating that sealed in the umami of the middle part. It goes well with salt and makes the alcohol go down smoothly. There are many fried dishes on the menu, but the wall menu seems to be of high quality. Another dish we ordered was the "nira tamago" for 380 yen, a dish with a strong aroma and a firm egg texture. It is overwhelmingly the best nira tamago I've ever had. From the wall menu, we also tried the "Popeye salad" for 500 yen. Despite being a salad, it was cooked with a sizzling sound, and the secret must be the "bacon & garlic chips." Spinach, cucumber, tomato, corn with special dressing & mayonnaise. It was so delicious that it was enough as an appetizer, and when I told the staff, "It's delicious," they smiled and said, "It's a popular menu." The chef seemed quiet and had a craftsman-like demeanor, maybe the owner. The hall was taken care of by a lady who seemed to be his wife. I ordered another "draft beer" and the "kawa ebi karaage" for 380 yen. The menu ordered by the tipsy customer next to me seemed to be a favorite among drinkers. The shrimp was plump and delicious. When you keep getting delicious food, it makes you happy and you can't help but smile. I was very satisfied with "Sakusho" restaurant. Thank you for the meal! I have decided to revisit.
