I visited for lunch. The location is near the B2 exit of Higashi-Nihonbashi Station, along Kiyosugi Street, very close to the Higashi-Nihonbashi intersection. It used to be where the Western-style restaurant Affinity was located. It seems to be a sister store of "Nanaya" located in the underground on the opposite side of the road. It opened last month, but I noticed it for the first time today. Let's go in right away. I entered a little before 12 o'clock, and solo customers are seated at a shared 6-person table in the center of the restaurant. Although it was still empty, I was surprised to be seated with someone else, but more customers arrived one after another, and by around 12:05, it was almost full. It seems to be a popular place already. By the way, there are chairs outside the restaurant for waiting customers. The interior has a modern feel, with shelves for liquor bottles serving as nice partitions, making the seating arrangement considerate of privacy. It would be a nice place to visit with a few people at night. The capacity is about 30 people. There were 2 staff in the kitchen and 2 on the floor, but despite being newly opened, there was no sense of chaos, and the operation seemed stable even when it was full. I think the staff may have come from the sister store. Now, onto the food. This time, I had the "5-piece sashimi set meal" for 820 yen. It was served in about 5 minutes while listening to pleasant Western music. The sashimi included "tuna, sea bream, yellowtail, bonito, and octopus," all with decent freshness and a good amount. I think each sashimi was reasonably tasty. The side dishes were "okra" and "deep-fried bamboo ring," which were average. The miso soup was also average. The rice, which was Miyazaki rice, was delicious and free for refills. While "Nanaya" offers a choice of multigrain rice and white rice, this place seems to only have white rice. I was very satisfied. The price of 820 yen for this content seems to offer good value. "Nanaya" allows smoking, but this place is entirely non-smoking during lunchtime, which is a great service. There are still more lunch options to try, so I would like to visit again.
