I had the morning katsu don for 480 yen. I had been curious about it for a while, and finally tried it. Since it had "morning" in its name, I had imagined it would be smaller, but it was actually a substantial portion. It was a classic katsu don with a sweet flavor. I think this is a good choice. Thank you for the meal. Good job handling everything by yourself.

I had the breakfast curry set for 450 yen. It was my first time trying the cold version, and I still love the curry here. It's just right for me, not too sweet or too thick. Thank you for the meal. I feel bad for the staff, but the inside of the restaurant is still not too crowded and relaxing.

I visited a soba restaurant that is a bit of a walk from Tamachi station (but close to Shibaura-futo station). I decided to go for the fried chicken combo because soba alone wasn't enough for me. You order at the ticketing machine, find a seat, and wait for your order. It can be a bit confusing when it's crowded, but they are pretty quick. The fried chicken with tartar sauce was delicious and satisfying. It might not be the most traditional combination, but in terms of value for money and speed, I loved it. Great place for a quick meal!

Platto, for today's lunch, I took a stroll around the Shibaura-futo Station area. I exited the Yurikamome Shibaura-futo Station ticket gate and went down the stairs at exit 2A. I walked straight ahead towards the direction of the sunrise, crossed the second traffic light, turned left immediately, continued walking, crossed the signal at Urajima Bridge on the Bayshore Avenue, continued straight ahead, crossed Urajima Bridge, walked straight for a while, and on the right hand side, I visited the "Homemade Noodles Uchisoba Shibaura-nichome Store." This restaurant is known for its freshly ground, freshly made, freshly boiled soba noodles, with the addition of freshly fried items. I entered the restaurant at 10:45 on a weekday. Inside the restaurant, I checked the menu at the ticket machine located on the left. The menu includes various soba dishes, set meals, warm and cold soba, toppings, drinks, and breakfast sets. I was in the mood for a hearty soba dish, so I chose the "Two-color Extra Large Soba." I selected it on the ticket machine, received the food ticket, and took it to the order counter at the back. While waiting for my order, I observed one male customer in the restaurant. After 4 minutes, my "Two-color Extra Large Soba" was ready, and I picked it up from the order counter. The dish consisted of extra large soba with two types of soba broth - one for cold soba and one with walnut flavor. The soba noodles were firm with a good chewy texture. The broth was flavorful, with the walnut-flavored one being rich and fragrant. I enjoyed the dish, finishing it quickly and savoring the unique combination of soba and broth. After finishing my meal, I drank the remaining broth and concluded my dining experience. Today, I indulged in the satisfying "Two-color Extra Large Soba." Thank you for the meal.

I had the kakiage don set for 620 yen. It wasn't on the breakfast menu, so it was served in about five minutes. The kakiage had a thin and crispy batter. As I've noticed before, the rice portion here is quite large while the soba portion is small. Thank you for the meal! There are many unique menu options here, so it's hard to decide. I might try the cold version next time.

I had the 450 yen curry breakfast set that I was curious about. It was my first visit because of the location. The entrance was in an unexpected place. I bought a ticket from the machine on the left side of the entrance and handed it to the staff at the back. They asked if I wanted the curry hot or cold. It was around 7 o'clock on a Saturday, and there was only one other customer. The seating area was spacious with many tables. There were also standing tables in the back. I was called in about 2 minutes. On the table, there were only chopsticks and shichimi spice. The curry portion was satisfying, but the soba portion was a bit small. The curry was sweet and thick, typical of a soba restaurant. The soba looked as good as it tasted. It felt like I was eating soy sauce ramen for some reason. Thank you for the meal! The cleanliness of the restaurant and the atmosphere of the staff were very good!

This area has never had many restaurants. By midday, there are long lines everywhere. Without deciding on a specific place, I went out for lunch and ended up in line at a soba restaurant. The interior had table seating and a standing area in the back, with more depth than it appeared from the front entrance. I ordered the parent and child bowl set for ¥680. I took my ticket to the pickup area in the back. I noticed that they called out orders by the item name, which was a bit hard to hear, so customers would go check if their order was ready, creating a small crowd at the pickup counter. I received my parent and child bowl set and sat down. The portion of soba was on the smaller side, more like a half-soba parent and child bowl. The soba had a good texture, chewiness, and smoothness, but the soba broth was a bit lukewarm. The parent and child bowl was delicious, but personally, I prefer the egg to be more runny and half-cooked. Looking around, I noticed that many people ordered cold soba, likely due to the temperature. Some also ordered large portions, katsu-don, parent and child bowl, or curry sets. I see, that's how you can enjoy this restaurant. I'll try that next time.

I finally had the Chicken Nanban set that I had been wanting to eat. Even though I usually drag my feet, I feel light on my feet only at times like this. The restaurant is far from the station. It's a standing soba shop located next to Yanase Shibaura. It's a chain store, but it doesn't seem to be located all over the place. The Chicken Nanban set (¥780) was called in about 5 minutes, so I sat down with a heavy tray. First, I finished the soba. The kakesoba looks neat and tastes delicious in a classy way. The Chicken Nanban bowl is small but visually packed and stimulating the appetite. There are 3 large pieces of fried chicken, which look a bit over-fried and deliberately dark in color. The crispy texture is very strong. The sweet and salty sauce, mixed with tartar sauce, is the best. After munching on it, drinking the soba broth repeatedly, my mind feels like I'm in paradise. The combination of bowl and soup gives me the highest level of satisfaction. Thank you for the meal.

The other day, I visited "Uchisoba" in the Shibaura area, passing by the recently closed Hakone Soba. The soba noodles, which are homemade, were delicious, especially the cold soba. The curry was average, tasting like it came from a retort pouch. Delicious soba!

The soba shop near my home is not one I frequent often due to its close proximity. However, their soba and dipping sauce are quite delicious. I planned to have the morning set meal with katsu-don and soba, but I remembered how tasty the vegetable tempura was here so I opted for the vegetable tempura soba. The vegetable tempura is made with eggplant, sweet potato, and shiitake mushroom. The batter on the tempura was too thick. The soba and dipping sauce were delicious though. It seemed like they were rushing things because it was early in the morning. They should pay more attention to their work.

①I wanted to try something different, but ended up getting the Chicken Nanban set again. ②It seems like they don't offer Chicken Nanban as a standalone item! They have standalone options for Oyakodon and Katsudon, but when you see the Oyakodon set or Katsudon set, with soba for an extra ¥30 or ¥40, it seems like a pretty good deal. Even if it's a bit more expensive as a standalone item, it might still be quite worth it, don't you think?

While looking for a place to eat during work, I stumbled upon a Chicken Nanban Don and Soba Set. The soba broth was surprisingly delicious! This standing soba shop is located a little away from Tamachi Station. The seasoning was very rich and satisfying. It's a really delicious restaurant.

In the morning. I visited this shop in a location where it's hard to stretch my legs because I rented a car. There were few customers on a Saturday morning. I ordered the usual tempura soba, which costs 480 yen at this shop. They boiled the soba and started frying the tempura after I placed my order. The generous tempura was hot and crispy, almost getting stuck in my teeth. Personally, I prefer it when it starts to soften a bit after some time. The soba had a good texture with thin homemade noodles that went down smoothly. Overall, I felt a resemblance to the taste of Yudetaro. Well, it's delicious, so it's fine. I would like to visit again if I have the chance!

I discovered this place while cycling around Shibaura in the middle of the three stations of Hamamatsucho, Tamachi, and Shibaura Pier around 9:30 in the morning. I was hesitant between ordering the morning soba set or the freshly fried tempura, but ended up ordering the vegetable tempura zaru soba for 640 yen. The tempura had eggplant, pumpkin, and chrysanthemum leaves, and the zaru soba had plenty of chopped seaweed on top. The soba noodles were firm and chewy, and went well with the refreshing and spicy dipping sauce. The freshly fried tempura had a light and crispy batter. Overall, it was a delicious meal. This restaurant is a rare find in this area with limited dining options.

A soba restaurant where you can eat crispy soba noodles♪♪ On this day, I didn't have much of an appetite, so I opted for a lighter meal. I happened to discover a soba restaurant right near Lemon Tree, where they have delicious cream puffs. Looking at the ticket machine, they offered both hot and cold options, as well as various tempura choices. Since it's spring, they also had spring-themed tempura. I have a weakness for trying new things, so I chose the walnut soba and tempura (small portion < curious). I handed my ticket to the counter and waited to be called. I was called quickly and went to pick up my order. The soba had seaweed on top and the noodles were thin and easy to eat. The walnut soba was served with a walnut sauce instead of dipping sauce. I enjoyed the rich sauce with the noodles. As I ate, I noticed there was quite a lot of noodles. The tempura was tall and had a strong presence typical of a soba restaurant's tempura. The turnover rate seemed good as customers ate quickly and left. The only downside was that towards the end, the walnut sauce ran out (I messed up (T T)). The crispy tempura had no dipping sauce, so I ate it as is, which was a bit tough without anything to dip it in. Personally, if you order tempura, I recommend getting soba with dipping sauce. Soba restaurants are not a place I often visit, so I apologize if I seemed clueless. The soba broth and water are self-service. During lunchtime on this day, the restaurant was about 70% full and seemed bustling with locals. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and welcoming. Thank you for the meal♪

From my home to the nearest soba restaurant. This place used to be where Yudetarou was originally located. Uchisoba from Kudanshita opened a store there. They open from 6 am. On this day, I chose the two-color large soba (soba soup & walnut sauce) for ¥640, morning curry set for ¥380, and morning katsudon for ¥390. I shared them with my companion. The soba was delicious. It's at the level of a proper soba restaurant. The morning katsudon had a slightly more runny egg than I prefer, but I was impressed that they offer it for ¥390. The curry had a good flavor with the soba restaurant's dashi. The walnut sauce for the two-color large soba was great. Overall, I felt the morning curry set had the best value. I will visit again.

Perfect for those starting their day with a boost of energy. The "Morning Katsudon (390 yen)" comes with a soba-like soup. The taste is quite ordinary, but the portion size for this price is unbeatable! Even though it doesn't come with mitsuba, the pickles on the side add a nice touch. The background music is jazz, adding to the pleasant atmosphere.
