Come on up, mixed juice! Taking a break in Ningyocho. It's hot, so I want something cold! There's an embassy near my favorite sandwich parlor Matsumura. Oh, there it is! Since I'm here, I'll try the mixed juice. The sound of the blender is exciting! I'm happy, it's freshly made. A juice with bananas and pineapples, not too rich, with a refreshing taste. It was just made, so they need to make sure the ice is well-crushed or it'll be lukewarm. The only downside is that the fruit sometimes gets stuck in the straw and clogs it up.

Iced tea, Jumbo Friend, Tuna Sandwich Toast, and Half Mixed Sandwich Toast. Lately, I've been eating a lot of toast. I also like toast without anything on it. I can eat regular toast quickly, but toast feels more satisfying. I don't know why I keep eating toast. The Embassy bread is probably sliced thin, like 10 pieces, so it goes well with toast, I think. I visited Nihonbashi for the first time and as usual when I come to Tokyo, I was looking for a coffee shop. After wandering around for over 30 minutes, I ended up at this place. The waitress was very friendly and kind, and the atmosphere of the shop was modern. There were also some regular customers who seemed to know the staff. It was a cozy coffee shop where even someone like me, who is not good at talking, felt like chatting. They seem to be known for their coffee jelly, so I might stop by again before heading back home tomorrow.

Today it has gotten warmer, so I decided to have something cold. I tried the ACC juice for the first time, along with my first hot dog. I love carrot juice, and it tastes delicious with apple added. The hot dog was freshly made, with the bread crispy and the sausage crunchy and tasty! It wasn't enough, so I also added an egg toast.

This is a great shop for smokers. The staff are polite and they make good coffee at a reasonable price. The old-fashioned counter adds to the nice atmosphere. I entered the shop at 4:20 pm. It was a Saturday, so they close at 5:00 pm, but they let me in without any issues. The milkshake was delicious.

Good morning. Once again at the embassy ^_^ I wanted to buy some coffee beans, so I went to the embassy. Today, I ordered a full-size mixed sandwich, a full-size tuna sandwich on toast, a jumbo coffee, and a jumbo royal milk tea. In a few minutes, the coffee and milk tea arrived, followed shortly by the sandwiches. The toast sandwiches had crusts on. I shared them half and half (╹◡╹) As always, I appreciate that they put extra lemon slices on one of the plates. I was quite hungry, so I ended up being quite greedy. My stomach is full now ^^; Maybe it would have been better to share both halves. I'm fine when I'm just eating the sandwiches, but when I drink some water, it hits me all at once. Haha, it's dangerous to eat it all because it's so delicious. Haha, I also tried the coffee beans that I had ordered. The staff is always so quick at their work. I enjoyed my meal today as well. m(_ _)m

Once again, I want to conquer the world of toast. Today, I tried the ham and cheese toast for the first time, along with a royal milk tea. The toast had cheese on top and white sauce underneath, with ham and lettuce inside. It was delicious! The royal milk tea was also very tasty. My companion had the mixed sandwich, which was simple, fluffy, and delicious. I'm slowly but surely making my way through the menu. I still have the hot dog to try, so there's more excitement to come!

I revisited the Coffee Embassy Ningyocho store, just a 2-minute walk from Ningyocho Station. Established in 1973 in Shinbashi, Coffee Embassy has expanded to other locations such as Toranomon, Kanda, and Akihabara. The Ningyocho store opened in 2007 and offers a rare smoking-friendly environment, serving coffee brewed with traditional methods. The 60-seat cafe is bustling with customers enjoying lunch or coffee time. This time, I tried their light meal menu: Butter Toast with Cinnamon (¥250), Mixed Sandwich (¥550), and Iced Coffee (¥500). The classic Iced Coffee was refreshing with a rich flavor. The Butter Toast was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, perfectly complemented by the aromatic cinnamon. The Mixed Sandwich, with simple ingredients like eggs, vegetables, and ham, was a delicious and traditional choice. Coffee Embassy is a charming old-fashioned cafe that I would love to visit again. Today's toast special caught my attention again. Today I went with the egg option. It had plenty of eggs and cucumber, with a nice sprinkle of salt. I also added a squeeze of lemon for a refreshing touch. I like to eat it by holding the top and bottom of the toast horizontally, so the filling doesn't fall out. After that, we still had some time before Oggi's errand, so we decided to have some coffee at a café called "Coffee Embassy". Despite claiming to be a coffee specialty shop that sells "heart and soul", the service was not particularly impressive, and the coffee itself was nothing special. It was just a typical large café, I guess. (5 out of 10 points)

Today's order: - Brazil Daragoa coffee: 580 yen - Ogura toast (with whipped cream): 250 yen Despite having just eaten beef cutlet, I couldn't resist ordering the Ogura toast. Pizza toast comparison. Although I don't have any particular attachment to it, I remember there used to be salami pizza toast. Starting from that conversation, I plan to continue trying out different pizza toasts until I find the salami one. This shop offers pizza toast for 500 yen and blended coffee for 500 yen. It takes 8 minutes for the order to be served. The pizza toast has tomato sauce and cheese on top, but I couldn't figure out what toppings were on it. I could have used a fork to examine the ingredients closely, but I decided it was fine not to know. I ate it and my taste buds, not being very discerning, couldn't identify anything specific. The coffee had a light, tangy flavor. The shop was a lively place for smokers to relax. While I understand that the noise level was not the fault of the shop, it made me think, "Oh well." I walked around the area near my company a little longer than usual and ended up at this shop. It was quite crowded inside, probably because it was lunchtime or break time! I know there are mixed opinions, but I personally think that cafes where smoking is allowed can be considered as a part of culture and it's okay to have them! (I personally dislike smoking) The inside of the shop smells like cigarettes, but it also adds to the atmosphere. The staff were also cool and the coffee had a strong, delicious taste! It is a cafe operated by a company called "Kawashima Industries," but there is little information about its history even after checking the website. When I visited around 10:30 on a weekday, the cafe was about 20-30% full, with regular customers and staff chatting loudly and having a good time. I ordered an iced royal milk tea for 520 yen, which was brought to me quickly and tasted delicious. The cafe allows smoking, and it seems there are branch stores in Shinbashi and Akihabara as well.
