I bought delicious cookies at Yoku Moku in Roppongi Hills (*^^*) They are called "Double Chocolate Au Lait," with thin cookies sandwiched with chocolate. I needed a few for serving with coffee for my customers, so I chose a small size pack. It contained 12 pieces! The leftovers that I served to customers were enjoyed at home as well♪ The chocolate melts at room temperature, which is delicious, and it's also tasty when chilled in the refrigerator (o^^o) There were also small-sized Cigare cookies, which are rolled-up thin cookies. I thought it would be nice if there were assortments in small sizes like in a tin.

On the second floor of Hikari gaoka Livin, there is a mix of bicycle shop, cosmetics, and souvenir shop, giving off a local shopping center vibe. In one corner of the souvenir shop, there is this store. The sales staff are shared with other Western confectionery stores. This time, I tried the seasonal limited edition "Christmas Pièce au Chocolatier" white chocolate. The back cover of the box has a pop-up feature with a reindeer and Santa moving back and forth. The chocolate itself is very delicious with white chocolate.

Yokumoku's square tin cans are a popular gift that I receive a few times a year. They usually contain a variety of cookies with "Cigare" in them. The cigar-shaped cookies have a buttery flavor and are crispy, but they are not that special, so I always go for the other cookies when sharing with others. However, when I opened the carmine tin can, I found that all of them were "Cigare"... but wait, these ones have chocolate inside! That's thoughtful. It might be more exciting than the regular "Cigare". Well, receiving them as a gift doesn't make me go "wow", but it's a safe choice for a present.

Sometimes it may seem too common to give as a souvenir, but because it's a flavor that everyone loves, I sometimes choose to go with Yoku Moku. The bag type, not the can, is more affordable and can be good for lunch at a friend's house nearby. Also, during Christmas, Valentine's Day, New Year's, and other seasonal occasions, they have cute limited edition wrapped products, so I buy them for those times as well. Occasionally, I treat myself with them as a reward. Yoku Moku is really delicious.

In Hikarigaoka, Nerima City, I sometimes go there for work and enjoy exploring the shops in "IMA" when I have free time. I came across this place during one of those times. While Hikarigaoka only has large shopping centers, this place is highly recommended. They have a wide range of products, making it easy to choose depending on the recipient. The staff at the store are also very helpful and accommodating to specific requests.

Now, let's talk about the familiar Yoku Moku. To be honest, I don't often buy it for myself, but it's common to receive Yoku Moku as a gift or souvenir. Yoku Moku is known for its cookies and baked goods. The cookies are crispy and have a gentle texture. Among these baked goods, the Crepe Rolls stand out. They have the same crispy and gentle texture as the cookies, but with a hint of buttery flavor that adds to their deliciousness.

Christmas was celebrated with a home party in my room with five people. We had a potluck, and someone brought a Christmas edition of Yoku Moku cookies. The packaging was festive with Christmas designs. The cookies were square-shaped with chocolate and almonds, and they were delicious as always. There was quite a lot, so we ended up with leftovers even after eating too much before reaching tea time. I have been enjoying them little by little every day. On that day, we only brought potluck items, and I ended up lining up at KFC. Other items like Nanachiki and Moschicken also made an appearance, turning the table into a fried chicken festival with a total weight of over 3kg. Today, they are still being enjoyed during the New Year's celebration while watching "Gaki no Tsukai" with everyone. Thank you for the feast. ^^
