I was lured in by the one-month half-price drink promotion after the grand opening. I ordered a draft beer (¥384 including tax), grilled chicken gizzard (¥132 including tax), chicken wings (¥132 including tax), and stuffed bell peppers with minced chicken (¥132 including tax). The staff informed me that the grilled chicken would take some time, so they suggested adding something that would be served quickly. I decided to wait for the grilled chicken without adding anything, but none of the three groups of customers before me had touched their grilled chicken. Realizing it would take a while, I decided to order the quick-menu item known as "chicken skin with ponzu vinegar" (¥220 including tax). It arrived promptly, and it had a chewy texture that made it a good time-killer. The grilled chicken gizzard was average, but the stuffed bell peppers with minced chicken came with two pieces, which was a pleasant surprise. Furthermore, the boneless chicken wings were served in a way that required extra effort, which was impressive considering the price. Eventually, I added a set of white hoppy beer (¥440 including tax) and chicken rice cooked in a pot (¥330 including tax). The chicken rice took about 30 minutes to cook on the table using solid fuel. When the rice was ready, I also ordered "naka" (¥220 including tax) to accompany it. The chicken rice included only essential ingredients like chicken, burdock, and carrots. Considering the low price, it was a great deal compared to similar dishes at other budget-friendly restaurants. While the quality of the dishes varied, they were all satisfying considering the prices. As for the drinks, I had no complaints during the half-price promotion, but I thought the regular price beer served in delicate glasses might be a bit lacking compared to the sturdy mugs used for hoppy beer. I hope they switch to using mugs for beer once the half-price promotion ends. The remaining beer glasses could be repurposed for soft drinks like Calpis, which I don't order anyway.

The background music in the store is a 90s JPOP medley. I ordered "heart" and "negima" with sauce. They said it would take some time, so I waited. "Heart" was served in about 10 minutes. It was soft and had a small portion. Next, in 5 minutes, "negima" was served. The meat was good, but it was a shame that one side was overcooked.

I came across this newly opened restaurant without a specific destination in mind and was lured in by the sign offering half-price drinks for a month. Everything was good, but the standout dish was the negima yakitori. It was innovative with the meat wrapped in green onions. While there are many high-end yakitori restaurants, finding an affordable and delicious one is always a delight.
