Located 50 meters from the intersection of Odakehashi Street and Sangoshima towards Mikawa Island from Oyama Bridge Street, this yakiniku restaurant is a bit intimidating from the outside as you can't see inside. The interior is divided by lattice screens into semi-private spaces, with 5 tables for 4 people each, and 1 table for 6 people, as well as one completely private room. I ordered the King of Yakiniku Set (1,460 yen) from the lunch menu. Despite its grand name, it wasn't overly luxurious. The set includes four types of yakiniku: sliced beef tongue, kalbi, harami, and hormone. The beef tongue was thinly sliced but had a nice chewiness. The kalbi was tender and juicy, with a slightly crisp edge in the sweet sauce. The harami had a texture close to lean meat with no offal smell. The hormone was grilled slowly from the skin side, and when flipped, the fatty part was fiery! It seems that the charred bits bring out the umami and sweetness. The set also includes rice, miso soup, salad, side dish, dessert, and a drink. You can get a large serving of rice for an additional 50 yen, and a refill for 100 yen. The side dishes included kimchi, pickled cucumber, and bean sprout namul. You can choose from various drinks, and I opted for ginger ale. The dessert was a citrus sherbet with marmalade inside. Overall, I was satisfied with the content and price of the lunch set. I have high expectations for dinner as well.

The new restaurant had a great atmosphere! Despite being a bit of a walk from the station, it was quite full at 1 pm. I'm glad I made a reservation. In the summer, there were a few bugs because the windows were open, but the taste of the meat, including the sauce, was incredibly delicious! I'm glad I went.

This is a yakiniku restaurant located a short walk from Uguisudani Station. Overall, it is neither good nor bad. The restaurant itself is not very spacious, and the seating is a bit cramped. The service for refilling drinks was a bit slow. The meat was average in taste and portion size, so it felt like it was lacking a little considering the price.

The interior of the store was clean and the lunch was reasonably priced! In addition to the meat in the photo, it came with salad, kimchi, namul, miso soup, beef stew, and rice. If you make a membership card, you can get a 5% discount (it might have been 8%) on the evening bill. I would like to go back in the evening.

I used this place for lunch, it's about a 5-minute walk from Uguisudani Station. They offer reasonably priced yakiniku set meals and beef curry. The taste was quite delicious, and I was satisfied with the price. The rice portion was generous, and I left feeling full! I would like to visit again in the evening next time!

I visited the restaurant for lunch with one other person. After struggling to decide, we ended up ordering the rare cuts platter with 5 types of meat! We were so hungry that we ordered too much. The first few bites were delicious, but the meat was too fatty and heavy, so we couldn't finish it all. I regret not just ordering the regular sirloin. I did enjoy ordering the angel prawns, which I love. The meat itself was a bit pricey but tasty. They also offer bento boxes, which I would like to try if I have the chance.

Limited quantity! We received 1,518 yen for the Wagyu Tataki Set (includes salad, small dish, soup, simmered beef, and grilled egg). Enjoy the tataki with wasabi or mix it with the spicy simmered beef - both ways are delicious! I also recommend trying the Matsuzaka A5 rare cut set for 2,728 yen (includes rice, salad, small dish, simmered beef, and soup). The atmosphere inside the restaurant is cozy and they have private rooms for a relaxing experience. They use carefully selected high-quality black wagyu beef. They also offer family-friendly platters and are a great choice for those who want to enjoy authentic meat dishes. Located a 4-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Station, be sure to visit the restaurant.

It feels a bit far from the station, but it's about a 6-7 minute walk away. If you go straight from the north exit, it's just before LIFE. As you get closer, you'll see a mysterious sign that says "Imagine Yakiniku," but when you reach the front of the store, you'll understand that it's the store's catchphrase saying "Imagine, it's Yakiniku." The store is relatively new, clean, and has a good atmosphere for a yakiniku restaurant. They use Miyazaki beef and do not use any frozen products. Starting from the top left and going clockwise, there's Napa cabbage kimchi, Upper Kalbi, and the Tongue Trio assortment. --Tongue Trio assortment-- Includes top-quality tongue, raw tongue, and green onion tongue. You can enjoy the different textures and flavors of each. The meat is flavorful and tender. --Upper Kalbi-- Despite having a fair amount of marbling, the fat is not heavy and has a light taste. --Napa cabbage kimchi-- It has a good balance and is not too sour, with a nice absence of artificial seasoning taste. --Harami & Upper Loin-- Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the latter, so the picture is only of the harami. The harami is tender since it's raw meat. The upper loin, unlike the upper kalbi, felt a bit heavy with more fat. Of course, you should have some lettuce with the yakiniku. Instead of the usual samjang, they provide an original miso sauce as a condiment. --Pig's feet-- Surprisingly delicious. It's tender with no strange smell or taste, and has a gentle flavor. Dip it in the spicy miso sauce. Since pig's feet have a different flavor profile from yakiniku, it's a nice break and goes well with alcohol. It was my first visit, but it's a great restaurant, and next time I want to try the lean meat trio.

I have been living in this area for thirty years since I got married and moved away. The cityscape and the shops have changed completely. There is a new yakiniku restaurant here. It was my first time visiting. The meat was generally delicious and all of them were good choices. They have three types of tongue, and you can choose according to your preference. Both lean meat and offal were fresh. The offal had no strong taste or smell. They serve seared yukhoe... right? It was lightly seared. The egg yolk was served separately, which made it a bit difficult to eat. The pig trotters were cut into bite-sized pieces, making them easy to eat. The restaurant has long tables in the back, resembling an eel bed, but the two tables near the entrance were a bit uncomfortable. People passing by behind you as soon as they enter make it a bit chaotic. If you make a reservation, it's better to avoid sitting right near the entrance. Thank you for the meal.

On this day, I visited Sōzō Yakiniku "Tomihisa" located a 5-7 minute walk from Uguisudani Station for a yakiniku lunch for the first time. The meaning of the name "Sōzō Yakiniku" is unclear, but once inside, the restaurant had a calm atmosphere with abundant use of wood materials. I ordered the Ume Set for 1,408 yen (including tax) from the extensive lunch menu. It included premium black wagyu upper kalbi and upper harami, rice, salad, kimchi, bean sprout namul, beef stew, oxtail soup, grilled vegetables, offering great value for the price. The kalbi and harami were both excellent in quality, tender with a sweet and flavorful taste. This restaurant is quite good as it serves high-quality meat even for lunch. While I still don't understand the meaning of the name on the sign, Uguisudani Station is also home to the famous yakiniku restaurant "○○ En," and although it's unclear if this place can compete with that, the quality of the meat alone is impressive enough.

I had the plum set for the no-wait lunch at 11:40 on a weekday. I was the first one there, so it only took about 5 minutes for the food to be served. The set included 3 slices of top rib, 3 slices of top sirloin, pumpkin, carrot, long green onion, rice, miso soup, kimchi, bean sprout namul, simmered beef with a soft-boiled egg, and salad. The meat was thick and tender, just the right amount for lunch. The simmered dish was spicy and the meat was melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

This place is less than 10 minutes from Uguisudani Station. However, if you take the wrong exit from the station, it can be quite far, so it's better to look it up before going. It's located on the side of Shinano Road right by the station exit. I visited in the early afternoon. The interior of the restaurant is bright and clean. I made a reservation over the phone, but the staff (a woman of Chinese descent) seemed to have forgotten about it. The phone service was good though. We were seated in one of the two tables in the area for four people (the rest of the tables were almost full). Because of this, there were no plates or utensils prepared (laughs). We ordered the Yutaka course and the all-you-can-drink option. The course meal included four small side dishes (namul, average), salad (small and average), a meat platter with four types of meat. The beef tongue was delicious without sauce, the kalbi (short rib) was tasty with salt and wasabi, the harami (skirt steak) was surprisingly good without aging, and the sirloin was A4 grade and very delicious. The hormone platter included three types of hormone, all of which were delicious. The heart was the best dish of the day and incredibly tasty. The ramen with salt was on the regular menu and was good. The yuzu sherbet for dessert was sour and tasty. The drinks were brought promptly when we called for them. They mentioned that they can't make the sauce too thick. Overall, while there might be some validity to the reviews mentioning bad customer service, we didn't experience anything unpleasant during our visit. The seating for four people had only the actual seats and no reserved signs, so they might have some issues like that. The restroom was clean and there was only one. I would consider visiting again for the quality of the course meal (meat quality).

A regular dinner with friends at a yakiniku restaurant ☆ It's a moderate distance from the station, so you can relax. The clientele is mostly families, coming in one after another. We made a casual reservation for a la carte. We started with beer! Followed by a huge plate of raw white intestine, similar to caprese. I've never seen such a large serving of raw intestine before. Then onto the yakiniku. A platter of three different cuts of lean meat, each with its own name tag. They were delicious beyond words. The beer kept flowing as we enjoyed dishes like angel shrimp, salted squid, and scallops. The shrimp was amazing, and we couldn't stop talking about it. The squid had a unique texture. Despite being a yakiniku restaurant, the seafood was the most delicious. The bibimbap, which we had only seen in pictures, was entertaining. We also drank a lot of barley shochu on the rocks. Although I seem to have doubled my drinking, I recommend getting a drink set if you're going to drink a lot.

I visited Yakiniku to Mihisa, which is known for its signboard that says "Imagine it's Yakiniku!" This time, I decided to splurge a little for lunch and chose the Matsuzaka A5 rare cut set for 2,480 yen. It included four types of rare cuts of Japanese black beef, rice, miso soup, salad, and simmered beef. The meat included shoulder triangle, tomoshankaku, upper kalbi, and shinsin, with a total of 8 slices. The quality and taste of the meat were excellent, but I had a few doubts. The menu stated it was an A5 rare cut set, but it was not specified if it was A5 rank. Also, the restaurant was described as having private rooms, but the table I was seated at was in a room with two 4-person tables. Lastly, I couldn't quite understand the meaning of "Imagine it's Yakiniku!" Overall, the quality of the meat and the price were satisfactory. That night, I decided to go for yakiniku in Uguisudani and headed to Tomihisa. Despite the current situation, the restaurant welcomed us warmly. We ordered our favorite menu items and they did not disappoint. The combination of yakiniku and rice was amazing. We enjoyed the delicious food, refreshed with cold noodles, and had fruity Japanese sake. We indulged in the tasty dishes, chatted leisurely after the meal, and ended up staying until closing time. Eating meat really gives you energy.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Uguisudani Station, this shop is clean and calming inside! I ordered the Namul platter with 4 varieties and the premium beef tongue. The premium beef tongue even had gold foil on it, making for a luxurious experience! The meat itself had an elegant flavor. The Chorogi salad was decent, and then I tried the skirt steak, top harami, and top kalbi. I also had the heart and pork belly, all of which were of high quality. The prices were reasonable, so the cost performance was good! The seared meat sushi was incredibly tender, and the wasabi gave it a refreshing touch. I will definitely be coming back for more! The yuzu sherbet was subtly flavorful and had a smooth texture, making it a delicious way to end the meal!

Yakiniku Tomihisa @ Uguisudani The black wagyu beef here just melts in your mouth. It's amazing. Just imagine, yakiniku. I've been to this place a few times for their yakiniku lunch and it was delicious, so this time I visited for dinner. The black wagyu beef here is delicious and affordable!! The cost performance is excellent. The black wine specifically for meat is also recommended! Be sure to try it when you come here! The lunch menu is also recommended.

After visiting museums in Ueno, I decided to have yakiniku with my companion at my favorite place. We arrived before 7:00 pm, and even though there were many reservations, the staff kindly allowed us to dine. We enjoyed the delicious quality of the meat, including sirloin, harami, kalbi, and ribeye, at Tomihisa. The meal was truly delicious!

The last dinner of the Heisei era. We decided on yakiniku, our favorite choice! We went to Tomihisa, where the quality of the meat is top-notch and the prices are reasonable. The staff's diligent service added to the experience. Both my companion and I enjoyed our delicious yakiniku, holding our rice bowls in hand. Placing the meat on the grill, watching it cook, and flipping it over is the essence of yakiniku! It's an exciting moment. We savored the tenderness of the beef, the umami of the lean meat and fat, and the sweetness. We enjoyed the classic sauce, salt sauce, as well as wasabi and rock salt for variety. We didn't get tired of the flavors and finished the meal in no time. The sushi was also a delight with its melt-in-your-mouth texture. The unique pleasure of beef. My companion's favorite seared yukhoe was also delicious! It was a fulfilling last dinner of the Heisei era. Despite the rain, we were seen off by the staff at Tomihisa. Thank you for the wonderful meal!
