I stopped by casually and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. After checking out a few places, I decided to eat here because it was easy to enter with a stroller. The staff were considerate towards my child and made the experience very comfortable. I was impressed by the delicious fried chicken on top of the oil noodles.

On a hot day after shopping in the shopping street, I felt a bit hungry and decided to have ramen for the first time in a while. The chicken white broth ramen was quite rich and flavorful, which may be good for those who like strong flavors, but it felt quite heavy. The noodles were thin, and when slurped, the richness of the soup was a bit surprising. I ate the noodles, sipping some soup in between bites. The Jiro-style noodles had a refreshing bonito-based soup. When mixed with the toppings, it became somewhat heavy. The most delicious part was the chicken chashu! It was cooked thoroughly but still had a slightly raw texture, making it juicy and delicious, so I savored every bite. Since the soup is quite heavy, it's recommended for when you're really hungry. If they have a chicken chashu rice bowl next time, I would like to try that.

Today, I came to a ramen restaurant called "Menya Bifuu" in Gotanda Ginza. I came here for a meal after drinking. It is located very close to Togoshi Station on the Asakusa Line. I arrived in the evening, so there were no other customers. I sat at the counter by myself. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. I could enjoy my meal leisurely by myself. This time, I ordered the "Special Rich White Chicken Broth Ramen" for 850 yen. It arrived in about 8 minutes after ordering! The appearance is beautiful, with a creamy white chicken broth. Now, about the taste, it is very rich and has a good amount of fat. It is delicious! The noodles are thin straight noodles, and they go well with the soup. When it comes to thin noodles, it reminds me of Ippudo, but the noodles at Bifuu have a strong texture. They slide smoothly into your mouth. The toppings included green onions, wood ear mushrooms, shredded red chili pepper, bamboo shoots, and chashu pork. The chashu pork is tender and makes you smile. This place is highly recommended for those who enjoy rich and flavorful ramen! It's also great for a meal after drinking! Next time, I'll try a different menu item. Thank you for the meal!

When staying in Togoshi on a business trip, I always come here. You can get ice-cold beer or highball for 200-250 yen! In other words, it's just like buying it at a convenience store! After having a few drinks with some snacks, today I had the tantanmen. The rich paitan soup was really good.

I visited "Menya Bifu" in Togoshi. It was my first visit in 5 years since it opened. I ordered the "Special Rich Chicken White Broth Ramen" just like last time. My impression was a bit blurry last time, and it hasn't changed. If anything, I felt a little disappointed this time. The restaurant is clean, and the service is not bad, but the crucial taste didn't quite hit the mark for me. Thank you for the meal. Visit date: 2023.05.23

I visited this place on a weekday night as my original choice was closed. There was only one other customer when I arrived, and the restaurant had a clean and organized atmosphere. I purchased a light soy sauce ramen with extra toppings for 950 yen, plus an additional 100 yen for extra vegetables from the ticket machine. The price of 950 yen for the special ramen seemed reasonable. The taste was indeed light as the name suggests. It was okay, but I felt there was room for improvement. I would like to try other items on the menu in the future. Also, I realized after finishing my meal that you can choose to add garlic as a condiment.

Visited the restaurant around noon. The interior had about 5-6 tables and a few counter seats, and it was about half full when I arrived. As it was lunchtime, more people came in and by the time I left, it was almost full. Purchased a meal ticket at the entrance ticket machine. Since it was my first time, I chose the most standard option, the Special Rich Chicken White Soup (1,000 yen). It was served in about 10 minutes. The soup was creamy white with two types of chicken chashu, chicken meatballs, egg, seaweed, menma, onions, wood ear mushrooms, and green onions. The noodles were thin and smooth, which paired well with the rich soup. The soup was thick and rich with plenty of chicken flavor and a subtle saltiness. The flavored egg had a perfect runny yolk texture and was delicious. Both types of chashu were tender and easy to eat. The texture of the wood ear mushrooms and the seaweed added a nice touch. The chicken meatballs were a bit too sweet for my liking, but overall, the dish was mild and easy to eat. While the portion size didn't feel overwhelming, the richness of the dish was filling. My companion had the limited edition tantanmen, which was mild yet flavorful, so I plan to try that next time. Thank you for the meal.

I went to a ramen shop that also functions as an izakaya. We used it as a second stop after eating Chinese food. We ordered chicken gyoza, beer, highball, and tripe tantan ramen. I was surprised by the very reasonable prices for alcohol, which were in the 200 yen range.

I thought it was a light chicken broth soup, but it turned out to be a thick and rich soup, not really to my liking. I regret not choosing the soy sauce-based soup option. The special ramen comes with chicken meatballs, menma, chicken chashu, chicken ham?, nori, and a boiled egg, making it quite extravagant. The chicken ham and boiled egg were delicious. The noodles were thin. The chicken chashu rice bowl had a generous portion of rice, and the chashu was lightly seasoned.

Togoshi Ginza is a ramen shop located just south of Ichikoku, known for its rich chicken white broth soup. I visited after a long time and this time I tried the rich chicken soy sauce ramen. The soup's rich flavor is addictive, and I almost drank it all up! When using PayPay, you need to tell the staff instead of using the ticket machine, and you can order at your table. The 250 yen beer was a pleasant surprise!

I ordered the Tantanmen for 900 yen and the lunch Chicken Tempura Don for 150 yen. The Tantanmen had very thin straight noodles and a delicious sesame miso soup. It was exactly to my liking and very tasty. The Chicken Tempura Don had a bit too much sauce, making it a little salty.

Located near the Togoshi-Ginza intersection, just a short walk from Togoshi Station on the Toei Asakusa Line, is a ramen shop known for its chicken broth, which is a sister store of Menya Takeichi. I purchased the "Rich Chicken White Broth Ramen with Flavored Egg (¥900)" from the ticket machine on the left side of the entrance. They also accept PayPay payments, and the staff confirmed my payment. I used a coupon from Tabelog for a free 100 yen topping, so I chose "seaweed". I was in the mood for a flavored egg, but opted to add it as a set for an additional 50 yen, which was a better deal. The interior of the shop has a counter and five tables. The complimentary water on the tables had lemon, which was a nice touch, and the tableware was well-stocked. The ramen arrived after a 10-minute wait. I took a sip of the soup, which had a slightly thick and oily texture, lacking depth and richness. It wasn't bad, but I think a soy sauce base would have been better. The noodles were thin and straight, with a soft texture. The toppings included chicken chashu, meatballs, bamboo shoots, seaweed, green onions, and onions. The chicken chashu was tender and went well with the other ingredients. The meatballs had a subtle curry flavor, and the onions paired nicely with them. The flavored egg was seasoned just right, using Akita Prefecture eggs. It was delicious, whether due to the quality of the ingredients or the skill of the chef. If you get tired of the flavor, you can use the black pepper or chili oil on the table to change it up. I finished the meal satisfied. The flavored egg is a must-try, especially since it can be added as a set for just 50 yen. They also had discounts on drinks, making it a great place for a casual drink as well.

I ordered soy sauce ramen and rich chicken white broth ramen. The noodles were thin with no major features, but the soup was rich and addictive. It was very delicious. The chicken white broth may get a little boring. The dumplings also had plenty of juicy meat and were delicious. I will definitely come back if it's nearby.

A ramen shop located just a 30-second walk from Togoshi Station. I visited for lunch on the weekend. The food log rating at the time of my visit was 3.28 (July 2022) around 2 PM, and there were about 6 customers already inside. The main menu seemed to focus on chicken white broth, so I purchased the Special Rich Chicken White Broth Ramen (1000 yen) from the ticket machine inside. They also offer hearty options like fried chicken and rice sets. There was no greeting when entering or leaving, and the service seemed a bit lackluster.
The Special Rich Chicken White Broth Ramen was served about 6 minutes after ordering. Let's dig in. The soup is a rich chicken white broth made by simmering chicken bones with aromatic vegetables, giving it a thick and distinct flavor with a noticeable amount of fat. While there were soy sauce and miso flavors available, this one seemed to be based on a salt seasoning. The soup was robust in the beginning, making it easy to eat, but it got a bit monotonous towards the middle, so I adjusted the flavor with the table-side spicy condiments and black seven-spice blend. The noodles were medium-thick and had a chewy, springy texture that paired well with the soup. The toppings included two types of chicken chashu, two tsukune meatballs, flavored egg, bamboo shoots, seaweed, chopped green onions, and shredded red pepper. The chicken chashu was tender and flavorful.
Overall, it was a classic chicken white broth ramen that didn't disappoint. Thank you for the meal.

If you are living a one meal a day lifestyle and your dinner plans get canceled, you need to think calmly about how to make the most of your only meal of the day. However, it is easy to give in to despair and end up settling for a random restaurant. That's what happened to me around 5:30 PM near Toko Station at "Menya Bifu." I chose the Chuka Soba for 750 yen, a clear soup ramen, using the touch panel ticket machine. Paying directly with PayPay, I was the only customer in the spacious restaurant, which had 27 seats. The ramen was served in a black copper-colored bowl and topped with chicken thigh chashu, chicken breast chashu, chicken meatball, finely chopped purple onion, bamboo shoots, shredded wood ear mushrooms, and green onions. The soup was a clear chicken soy broth, not as transparent as Imadoki's clear soup, but still refreshing with a subtle chicken flavor. The noodles were firm and to my liking. The chicken chashu was well-prepared, although the wood ear mushrooms didn't quite match the clear soup. Overall, I unexpectedly enjoyed the ramen despite entering the restaurant impulsively. I would like to try their salt chicken broth ramen and their signature rich chicken broth in the future.

For a quick lunch, I walked to a restaurant that seemed to have the most efficient route and opened around 11 am, so I could get my food quickly. I decided to try it out on a whim, even though I had never been particularly interested in it before. The picture of the tantanmen noodles caught my eye, as it was a limited menu item that was a bit hard to find when buying the ticket. As for the taste, it was okay. The appearance was that of tantanmen noodles, but when I tasted it, it seemed like the base was more of a chicken broth. There was a slight aroma of sesame sauce, but it was not very distinct. The strong scent of pepper and garlic made it hard to fully enjoy the dish. Overall, it wasn't bad, but personally, the garlic and pepper bothered me until the end. It was more authentic than those spicy minced meat noodles with chili oil that you sometimes come across, but it wasn't exceptionally delicious. However, I achieved my goal from ordering to finishing in 15 minutes. Next time, I will try their main ramen dish.

After visiting the Toriya onigiri shop, I still had a craving and had to go back. The soup was rich and delicious, topped with char siu (both thigh and breast meat) and tsukune. It was great to compare and taste them together! Even though it's chicken, it was so tender and jelly-like that I wanted to eat it as a snack. The old man who was the only staff member working was able to serve the ramen quickly, and when I asked for grated garlic, he was very friendly and accommodating. There were also Italian-inspired dishes, and although the table pepper was black pepper, I would like to try eating it with regular ramen pepper. I definitely want to go back!

You need to tell the cashier you want to pay with PayPay, it doesn't work at the vending machine. They will bring a QR code to your table first. The chicken breast ham was moist and had a good aroma. I ordered one of each type - the juicy kind and the grilled kind. They came with green onions and large and small pieces of onions. The soup was thick and there were black pepper, shichimi, vinegar, and other seasonings on the table to mix with it. I couldn't try the dumplings this time...

I visited Mifune Tokoshin Ginza store for dinner because I was feeling hungry. I ordered the Spicy Miso Tsukemen (1000 yen). It came with lots of toppings like chashu, nori, menma, seasoned egg, and tsukune. I added the soup at the end and enjoyed it until the last bite.
