そら☆まめ
Hello~♪(^.^)/ 2022.11.25 Today, I was invited by the boss to Tachikawa. Last time, we had hamburgers at Nishizakuraya in Isetan. This time, I decided to go for the boss's recommendation, which was shrimp fry if we were going to the same place. But then, I was asked, "There's a delicious soba shop, but which one do you prefer, the Western-style restaurant we went to last time?" The way they asked, it felt like today was going to be a soba shop visit! I said, "I'll leave it up to the boss," but they ended up taking us to the soba shop... (laughs) Takashimaya is quite far from the station. We walked and took the elevator... And of course, it was the farthest from the elevator (laughs). We immediately toasted with draft beer♪ Since it was my first time, I wasn't sure what to order for appetizers. "What do you want?" "I'm fine with the boss's recommendation." So, the first thing we ordered was Morokyu. It's served with Kagura Nanban miso. I took a bite... Oh, it's spicy miso. Next, we ordered the Jumbo Aburaage from Tochio. Half was plain, and half was filled with Kagura Nanban miso. On top, there were grated daikon, green onions, and bonito flakes. I took a bite... Oh, the elderly love this kind of dish, right? Oh, by the way, the boss is in their early 80s. Next, we ordered the duck and green onion yakitori. You could choose between sauce or salt, so we chose salt. The boss also chose salt. Don't copy me~ Just kidding (laughs). Four thick slices of duck meat, two nicely grilled green onions, and a shishito pepper. This was really good. It had a slightly elegant seasoning, so I ended up sprinkling salt on it. After that, we ordered something else, and it was the Tamagoyaki. When it arrived, it was huge. I took a bite... Oh, it's sweet. As for drinks, we had beer, three types of sake, and soba tea mixed with shochu. Soba tea is tea made from roasted buckwheat seeds. Finally, it was time for soba. "If you like tempura, how about the Ten Hegi?" they suggested. But my stomach was somewhat full, and I thought the boss always orders dessert, so I said, "No, I'll have the Hanahagi." Hanahagi is basically zaru soba with chopped seaweed on top. The boss added grated yam to make it yam soba. They eat a lot, right? Even though they're over 80, they eat almost as much as me. Slurp... Oh, the soba has a great texture. The soba broth was a bit light, but I enjoyed it with every drop of soba soup. After finishing the meal, it was time for dessert. The boss always has ice cream. I was thinking about what to have, and then they said, "Well, shall we go?" Wait, you're not going to eat anything?! Damn, I should have gone for the tempura soba... (laughs) They never give me souvenirs. So, I brought a big bag this time, but when I looked at the boss's hands, they only had their own handbag! No souvenirs?! What was the point of bringing a big bag... Hahaha. Goodbye~(^.^)/
