First visit to this store. The distance from the factory direct store of Bunmeido, visited earlier, feels like a bolt running at top speed for about 3-4 seconds. Arrived a little before 2 pm. Inside the store, there are various baked confectionery products such as limited-edition Kabuki Age and karinto, as well as unique SDGs-inspired broken senbei and other items only available at the factory direct store. Along with the new "Zuimyu" shrimp flavor, I also got the sought-after SDGs-inspired broken senbei in normal, tensuyu flavor, ancient rice senbei, and "juwari" in large quantities before leaving. The store is a bit small, but there are plenty of products on display. There are many unique flavors of Kabukiage to choose from, making the selection process enjoyable. In addition to Kabukiage, they also sell large bags for good deals, gift items, and other snacks. I purchased some snacks for home and souvenirs. One of my favorites is the "Large Bag of Kabukiage," which includes a mix of various snacks like mini Kabukiage, peanut snacks, seaweed-wrapped rice crackers, twisted snacks, and shrimp crackers. They are all delicious and the perfect amount for a quick snack. There is also a Bunmeido factory direct sales store nearby, and many people visit both stores together.

Right nearby, or rather across the street, is Bunmeido, famous for their castella cake... we had to go, so we did. However, due to a car accident on the road just before Tennoya, I had to take a detour to get there. It took some time to try everything, but I finally purchased the following: ◆Super Garlic (with pork fat flavor) ◆Extra Garlic ◆Scallop Soy Sauce ◆Ancient Rice Senbei. The differences between the white and pink versions of the Super Garlic were noticeable, with the white one having a more direct garlic flavor. The Extra Garlic was just pure garlic goodness. The Scallop Soy Sauce intensified the more you ate it, becoming irresistible. And the Ancient Rice Senbei had a nice crunch similar to Kabuki Age Senbei, with the added aroma of black rice, quinoa, and black sesame seeds. Each flavor was enjoyable and delicious, and the variety of senbei available was tempting. Rice really is amazing! Tennoya's offerings were all fantastic.

From single serving sizes to large bags that are great for families or gifts, they have a variety of options. I love garlic, so I purchased the super garlicky flavor with lard-like taste (108 yen). Just by opening the bag, a strong garlic smell comes out. You can feel the freshness as the factory is right next door. The garlic is small but packed with flavor in each piece. Even with just one piece, the garlic packs a punch. It's easy to eat and you can't stop once you start. I saw other garlic-flavored Kabukiage, so I plan to try them all starting with the garlic ones. If you love Kabukiage and want to try something fresh, it's worth going here to buy. They only accept cash payment.

I visited the factory and direct sales store of Kabukiage Aoyagi as I heard they were there. The nearest station seems to be Musashi-Sunagawa Station. It's quite a distance from the station. This is the direct sales store attached to the factory. There are no big signs, so you might easily miss it! Inside the store, there are various snacks including the representative brand Kabukiage Aoyagi, with flavors like corn and wasabi. I thought Kabukiage Aoyagi was only soy sauce flavor, but there are other flavors too. Since all the items are sold at direct sales prices, they are really cheap. That's why they are very popular as souvenirs or for everyday use. I was surprised at how cheap the shrimp senbei was. You should definitely buy the broken ones, as the taste is the same. I have been eating Kabukiage since I was a child, and I knew that there was a Tokyo factory in Inagi, but this was my first time visiting the store. The area around here has many different factories and stores. When it comes to Kabukiage, Tennoya is the place to go! I bought various types of Kabukiage, such as "Petit Kabukiage," "Petit Kabukiage with Shrimp Salt Flavor," and "Kabukiage Dream Shrimp Flavor." I also bought "Okoge Senbei Soy Sauce Flavor." Even though I bought a lot, each item was priced at 206 yen. I bought small packets to prevent moisture, and all the snacks were delicious and not soggy. Kabukiage is surprisingly crispy and slightly soft. Since it's petit-sized, you can't see the Kabuki actor's family crest (laughs).

I chose the kabuki fried fish cake that I haven't seen before, since it's a direct sales store. The super garlic is quite strong in garlic smell, as expected with the "super" in its name. It lasts for a day so be careful. But it's delicious. They also have other rare snacks that you don't see often in Yamanashi, and they are delicious too.

It's located in Musashimurayama City, and I never thought I'd have the chance to visit. However, I unexpectedly had a reason to go to Fussa, so I decided to make a detour and visit this place. The shop is located next to the factory and has parking space for about 7 cars, but even on a weekday, there were a lot of visitors coming in and out. When I parked and entered the shop, I was surprised to see a small space filled with a large variety of Kabuki-age snacks. I only knew about the sweet soy sauce flavor, but here they had flavors I had never seen before, like shrimp, wasabi, garlic, scallop, and kelp. It was exciting to see so many options. I was tempted to buy everything, but each item was around 200 yen, so I had to restrain myself. After much deliberation, I ended up buying four items. The classic broken Kabuki-age was a good deal in terms of quantity. The ancient rice senbei had a crunchy texture that I love, and I didn't realize it was from Tennoya. I was still in the mood to buy more, but I had to stop myself from going overboard. If I ever come back to the area, I will definitely visit again. But for now, I had to call it a day.
