Chain stores, it was crowded during lunchtime on this day. I was planning to go somewhere else, but it was full, so I ended up waiting a bit here around 1:30 pm. While waiting, I checked out the menus of other people. The omurice with omurice of omal shrimp that I had decided on was much smaller than the photo (lol). I got a seat near the entrance, a corner table for two. They served cold water right away. Once the order was placed, there was a buzzer and instructions. It was the same price as the regular menu, but the dandelion-based omurice seemed to have a good volume. The omurice looked nice, with the ketchup rice at the bottom being very thin and low in quantity. However, the taste was strong, more like a demiglace sauce than ketchup, which I liked. The omelet on top was voluminous. I tried to cut through the middle with a knife, but it didn't fall apart. Huh? The inside was quite solid. I opened it with a knife and fork. It wasn't completely solid, but there was no creamy texture at all. The taste of the egg had a lot of whites and was light. The demiglace sauce was probably overcooked, making it acidic, with low salt content. The balance was off because there was too little rice, leaving the omelet and sauce. After eating, I realized that I've been having egg dishes like oyakodon and omurice lately. The taste of egg dishes is determined by the quality of the ingredients and how they are cooked. It's simple, so you can't really hide anything. Maybe it's because I like eggs with rich yolks, but the taste of the yolk was weak this time. I think the omelet was cooked for too long. The ingredients of the eggs weren't to my liking, but I liked the taste of the rice. Maybe this omurice would be delicious with just the right amount of cooking. Every meal is a new encounter. The staff members had lovely smiles. They were busy, but their response when I went to pick up my phone that I had forgotten on the table was soft, speedy, and with a lovely smile. It was wonderful. Thank you for the meal.
