The Quattro Happy Tropical with ham, pineapple, and corn had a delicious sweetness from the pineapple. The Genovese with ham, potato, and garlic potato surprisingly paired well with the pizza. The American with pepperoni did not suit my taste. I looked up what pepperoni was and found out it is a type of spicy salami. The Margherita with Italian Pochoncini did not appeal to me. I looked up what Pochoncini was and discovered it is bite-sized mozzarella cheese. Even though I knew the names, there were still many things I didn't know, showing that you can always learn something new, even as you get older. The second pizza, Domino Deluxe, with pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushroom, green pepper, and onion, was a classic pizza that paired well with beer or highball. The crust of both pizzas was crispy and my favorite type of crust. I have been mostly at home since April 4th, with only 1-2 times eating out. I have been doing work and learning online, but gradually reducing it, and instead, enjoying walks and helping take care of my grandchildren due to the nursery school being closed. It has been a good change of pace. Ordering Domino's Pizza was a rare occurrence for me. To be honest, for a Domino's Pizza novice like me, ordering through their website or app was challenging. It was like my first time entering Starbucks. I didn't know what to order. The menu was extensive and the names didn't give away what was inside. This time, I got a paper menu, so it might be easier to order next time (laughs). In any case, the pizzas were delicious. Thank you for the meal. As a side note, I received the "Abe no Mask" today. There may be various opinions about it, but I couldn't find masks, so I have been using a handkerchief mask provided by my wife. I will gratefully use it. So, I decided to make the "Collecting Spectator Series" from Fujimi Models, which is a 1/3000 scale. It had some tiny parts, but I managed to complete it. I even ordered two more series (laughs). And to top it off, I ordered the "Nintendo Classic Mini" = Famicom. It arrived while I was writing this log. I will do my best in playing Mario Brothers.

Before the declaration of a state of emergency, we decided to give our chef a break and ordered our usual Domino's Pizza at home. This time, we tried something new - the Margherita pizza with extra spicy toppings and for the first time, we ordered the Ultra Cheese with Maple Sauce. I imagined it would be like replacing honey with maple syrup in a Quattro Formaggi pizza, but it turned out to be more dessert-like. Margherita had a slightly sweet sauce, making it easy to eat. Spicy had a strong kick from jalapeños but also had a tangy flavor that lingered. We ordered the "Quattro Value L size (3,240 yen)" and the "Quattro Value Plus L size (4,104 yen)". The cheaper pizza at 3,240 yen was free, so we paid only 4,104 yen for both. We shared the pizzas among 4 people and it was a great deal. The store has moved to a new location and it is very clean and well-maintained. Please continue offering the 2nd pizza free deal in the future.

I helped out with dinner for my wife by getting takeout, which was buy one get one for free and then half off for takeout, making it even more convenient. The Margherita pizza was consistently delicious. The Jalapeno pizza had a good kick to it! It went perfectly with beer. The seafood pizza was a normal type but had a nice twist. The "Quattro" pizza supervised by star chefs cost 2,106 yen with the half-price coupon for a large size. It was a collaboration with star chefs, featuring charcoal-grilled steak & garlic, roast chicken and Hokkaido Camembert, plump shrimp & fluffy lobster sauce, and smoked turkey with 5 kinds of rich cheese sauces. The taste was undeniably delicious, but the topping presentation was a bit sloppy, and there was a slice that didn't have any charcoal-grilled steak on it, which was disappointing.

On a hot day, I had a simple dinner that also served as a snack! The toppings were generous and flavorful. The double jalapeno topping was a bit spicy, making the next day a bit tough (laughs). I feel like the Margherita sauce has become a bit sweeter, but maybe that's just me? Ordering takeout pizza to give my wife a break sounds like a good idea!
