I was torn between choosing between Anan and Gyuhachi, but my friend prioritized price, so we went with Anan. When comparing the types of meat, Anan offers more options at the same price point. However, if we were willing to spend a little more money, Gyuhachi seemed to have higher quality meat. The deciding factor was that Gyuhachi offers beef tongue, and while the meat quality was decent, the fillet was delicious. The speed at which the drinks and meat were served was fast, and overall, the service time was rated highly.

It's a chain restaurant, but I really like it because of its reliable deliciousness and affordability! It's super close to the station, so the accessibility is great, and despite being cheap, the food is quite tasty! I particularly like the tongue and kalbi, so whenever I come to AnAn, I always order them, haha.

I felt like eating yakiniku, so while I was in Omori that day, I wandered around and casually walked into Shichirin Yakiniku Anan. It was my first time there, but ordering was done on a tablet, which is common these days even for solo diners. The fact that they had tables for four where you can enjoy yakiniku on a shichirin grill caught my attention more than the quality of the meat. With the trend of dining in small groups these days, it was a great environment with good value. I ended up ordering beef tongue, namul, a popular three-item platter, and added white rice to enjoy with a beer in hand. In the end, even with adding vanilla ice cream, it was just a little over 2000 yen, making it a great value. For me, it was a satisfying yakiniku experience. The staff were also very kind.

I visited Tokyo on a business trip. Tokyo is a completely unfamiliar place to me. I wondered if it would be okay for a country person like me to go out, but I wasn't going to be eaten alive. A must for me is a large public bath! I found a suitable sauna near Omori Station, so I explored the shopping street around there and looked for a place to drink. I wanted to find something unusual, so I ended up getting lost in the izakaya maze and ended up casually entering a yakiniku restaurant. When I entered the restaurant, I was seated at the counter. It seemed that orders were placed using a tablet, and I was surprised by how cheap it was. I later found out that it was a chain restaurant. I ordered pot-marinated kalbi and horumon, and a highball. The kalbi and horumon, marinated and grilled on a shichirin, were very delicious. They went well with the highball, refreshing my tired body after a long journey. The horumon was juicy with a crisp fat, and the kalbi had a good firmness from being well soaked in the sauce. After the highball, I switched to a lemon sour, but I decided to finish with kalbi soup. The soup was light yet flavorful, and the rice had a nice bite to it. Overall, the cost performance is excellent for this variety of menu at such a low price. I would like to go again, but it's a shame that it's not nearby.

I used it for a long-awaited meeting with a friend. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was lively, not really suitable for a date. However, the meat was very cost-effective, and I was able to eat to my heart's content without worrying too much! While upscale yakiniku restaurants are nice, it's also important to visit local neighborhood yakiniku places like this once in a while!

In fact, the grilled vegetables are delicious. I didn't take a picture though.

People who assume that cheap meat is not delicious are pitiful. It is actually quite tasty. Personally, I think that the marinated harami (skirt steak) is the best in terms of cost performance, offering a deliciousness comparable to high-end yakiniku (Japanese BBQ). It has become common for us to order two servings of this first.
