Today, two colleagues and I went to the area near Tsukishima Station. We visited a restaurant on the second floor of Sun Square that we hadn't been to before. They specialize in fresh fish directly from Matsurawa Fishing Port in Kanagawa. For lunch, we had fried horse mackerel and simmered flounder. Both of us chose the fried horse mackerel, which cost 1000 yen. You can choose between white rice and five-grain rice, and my colleague chose five-grain rice while I chose white rice. By the way, you can have seconds for free. The fried horse mackerel was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We ate half with sauce and the rest with soy sauce. The homemade tartar sauce was delicious. The side dishes included lotus root simmered in soy sauce, small pork cutlets, boiled broccoli, and pickles. The miso soup had pieces of wheat gluten floating in it. My colleague and I concluded that for 1000 yen, you can have a very satisfying lunch in this area. It was delicious.

I visited for the first time. Each dish was delicious. It was a popular izakaya and very busy. Sashimi seems to be popular. The prices are a bit high, so it's not a casual place to go, but it was delicious so I would like to visit again. The ramen shop on the same floor seems to be a related store.

No matter what we eat, it always tastes delicious at our favorite izakaya. We always order the fried child-carrying kombu and the homemade tofu and scallop salad. The appetizer is always different but always thoughtful, and this time it was uni-topped egg tofu, which was also very delicious. The nearby ramen shop "Yoshii" seems to be part of the same group, and it was also amazing. I look forward to continuing to visit both of these restaurants in the future.

I really like the Kachidoki Square Building on the 2nd floor, which is directly connected to Kachidoki Station. There are several affordable and delicious izakayas in this building, and I have been enjoying them recently. Hachi-san offers a variety of seasonal fish and side dishes, which I enjoyed on this day as well. The soba noodles at the end were also very refreshing and highly recommended.

I went to Yassan with four colleagues after work because our usual place was fully booked. Yassan is located in Sansquare Building near Kachidoki Station, an area filled with individual izakayas. Upon entering, we were greeted by the owner and led to a cozy table in the back. We started with a refreshing beer and some tasty appetizers, including abalone with salmon roe. The sashimi platter was fresh and delicious, especially the seared mackerel. We paired it with a local sake, which complemented the flavors perfectly. As we enjoyed our meal, we also ordered fried ginkgo nuts, shrimp mayo, and various other dishes. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. We tried different types of sake throughout the night, ending with a smooth red sake. The atmosphere was relaxed, the food was top-notch, and the service was excellent. Yassan is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for a special night out with friends. Highly recommended!

Recently, I have found the Sun Square building in the Tsukishima area to be very convenient for my various errands. There are various cafes and restaurants inside, and this time I visited this place in one corner. There are counter seats, table seats, and private rooms. Since it was still early, I was the first one there and secured a spacious table seat. First, I toasted with a soda mixed with apricot liqueur ⭐︎ The carbonation was strong and the flavor was rich and delicious! ⭐︎ Assorted sashimi plate included fresh Okinawan raw yellowtail, suzuki, kinmedai, madai hotate, and kanpachi. A great variety of fish, all fresh and delicious. They even served each person individually, which was thoughtful. ⭐︎ Steamed clam in sake broth The plump clams and the concentrated soup of their umami flavor were enjoyed to the last drop. ⭐︎ Skewered kombu with roe tempura Oh, this was really delicious too. The chewy texture and popping sensation were irresistible. A perfect combination of crispy batter and tartar sauce. A must-order item. ⭐︎ Fried meita garei (flounder) Pre-separated bone and meat for easy eating. Simple seasoning with salt. The crispy bone crackers are also perfect for pairing with drinks. Done eating. ⭐︎ Lin SPF pork fillet cutlet Not only seafood but also a variety of meat dishes are available. This cutlet, with its exquisite frying and the beautiful pink color of the tender fillet, is truly exquisite. It's really delicious. ⭐︎ Sauteed scallops This dish was recommended as a sauté, not on the menu, so we had to try it! The aroma of butter and the sweet sauce left a lingering delicious taste... After finishing my errands in Tokyo, I visited a recommended restaurant by my friend. It is conveniently located in a building directly connected to Kachidoki Station. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with large "fish" lanterns. As the name suggests, it seems to specialize in delicious seafood dishes, but they also have a variety of meat options which made it hard to choose. I started with a refreshing tomato sour cocktail for a toast. The appetizer was sazae from Miura, which set high expectations for the meal. The sashimi platter included fresh raw bachi maguro, maguro, kinmedai, madai, kanpachi, and scallops, each portioned perfectly. The flavors were amazing, especially the tuna and kanpachi with just the right amount of fat. The steamed clams in sake broth were delightful, with a hint of yuzu adding a nice touch. The skewered deep-fried kombu with eggs was crispy on the outside and chewy inside, a unique and delicious dish. The meita ga rei (flounder) fried in tempura style was light and fluffy, and you could even eat the bones. The Hirenkatsu (pork fillet cutlet) was surprisingly delicious, with a crispy coating and tender, juicy meat. The butter soy sauce grilled scallops were perfectly cooked, with a slightly sweet and savory flavor from the butter sauce. For the finale, I tried the hegisoba (buckwheat noodles) topped with recommended karasumi (bottarga), which was a first for me and turned out to be a great combination. Overall, the seafood was delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meat dishes as well. It's been a while since I had dinner with a friend who lives in Tsukiji. They were raving about a delicious restaurant nearby, so they took me there. It's conveniently located near the station. First, we had a draft beer, which is the best on holidays! The surprising highlight was the squid served as an appetizer. The texture was incredibly delicious. We also had a sashimi platter with 7 types of fish, all fresh and incredibly tasty. Especially the mackerel was outstanding. We enjoyed the combination of ankimo and tobiko with ponzu sauce, along with some sake. The sake was delicious too. The seaweed salad with sea urchin was a delightful dish with a lovely name. It had a mayo flavor and was very tasty. We ended the meal with seafood ochazuke, which had fresh sashimi in a semi-raw state. The fluffy texture was a blissful delight. All the dishes were amazing, just as my friend had praised. I was completely satisfied!

The "Fresh Shirasu" was incredibly delicious, with a firm texture and a savory soy sauce flavor that I couldn't get enough of. I was so surprised by how delicious it was!! I thought it was just a regular izakaya from the outside, but the deep-fried skewered konbu with roe was amazing! Only 380 yen, I can't believe it! It tasted like a dish from a high-end restaurant, a big hit! The cozy atmosphere with many regular customers made me feel like it's a great place. The whole tomato sour was a unique and rich sour drink with a whole tomato inside! The kanpachi liver soy sauce was protein-rich but the rich and creamy liver matched perfectly, it was so delicious. It tasted like fugu!! I could eat this all day. Also, the morning-caught misaki shokko was delicious too! It was a high-quality and fragrant dish. The slightly fatty, firm texture showed the skill of a discerning chef. A rare menu item was the tender duck skin stew. I couldn't imagine what it would be like, but it turned out to be a tender duck stew that was soft and gently flavored. Everything was so delicious that I ended up ordering a lot and my stomach felt so full like never before. Other dishes like abalone steak with oil and spicy kaiware, abalone steak with shiso, and natural king salmon with rich fat and smooth texture were also delicious. A palate cleanser salad with fresh tomato, myoga, negi, and kaiware was refreshing. There were also some off-menu items, like a salted sushi roll that someone else was eating, so I ordered it and they made it for me. It seems like there are various dishes not listed on the menu. The hirakatsu, made with Lin pork and a rich crystal-like coarse salt and mustard, brought out the flavor of the meat when eaten with salt. The rich and creamy soft-boiled egg was also delicious!! The soba with karasumi topping had a subtle aroma of karasumi, and the unexpected combination was great. I would love to visit this restaurant again. It was really delicious.

At lunchtime, when I said "Kachidoki" for work, I arrived at 11:45 and was still able to get in. Lucky. Usually at this time it's full and you have to wait. Today's daily special was a duck confit bowl. French cuisine in a bowl. What courage. I want to see that courage. I ordered it. The quality is high. It was delicious. The seasoned egg was amazing. They say they put truffle oil on it. Amazing. They are doing their best despite the coronavirus situation. I want to go back at night too. It's not a time to be refraining. Hang in there, Hachi. It's been a while since I've been to Tsukiji. It's been almost two weeks since the state of emergency was lifted. The building is quiet. There were only two customers in the Yatsu restaurant. Unbelievable. The three of us were followed by two more people entering. It became a bit lively then. The Misaki fish was excellent after a long time. I heard that they are now able to source SPF Hayashi pork (sterile pork handled by popular tonkatsu restaurants). The tonkatsu is delicious. They serve it for lunch. It's tough for them to operate with few customers because they handle fresh fish. That's true. But if these kinds of restaurants disappear, fish and sake lovers like us will have no place to go. Hang in there, Yatsu. Don't lose. I prayed.

Namero-don with kamaboko tempura for 1000 yen. This was the only option for lunch on this day. I arrived at around 11:40 and was the first customer. The restaurant is narrow but clean and has a sense of cleanliness. The order arrived shortly after. The bowl was sparkling with fresh toppings and a raw egg yolk in the middle. There was a teapot with dashi, a plate with various condiments, and kamaboko tempura with salt on the side. The toppings included horse mackerel, tuna, salmon roe, and possibly more. It was sprinkled with karasumi. The bowl had shredded omelet and chopped green onions. I poured a mixture of soy sauce and wasabi over it and it was delicious. The kamaboko tempura was crispy and had a mild taste. Towards the end, I added all the condiments like seaweed and grated yam, poured the dashi over the rice, and enjoyed it as ochazuke. The dashi was delicious. I finished most of the rice, so I poured the remaining dashi into the empty bowl and enjoyed it as a soup. The presentation was luxurious, the freshness of the sashimi was good, and it was a lunch with a good sense of taste. If this was priced at 850 yen, I would definitely come back regularly. It was a shame that the premium product voucher for Chuo Ward couldn't be used, but I still plan to come back.

Recently, I have been going to this restaurant ranked 1st or 2nd. I always sit at the counter since I dine alone. The recommended dishes are the fried chicken and stir-fried bean sprouts. The fried chicken is a light-colored type, similar to chicken breast but juicy and tender. The stir-fried bean sprouts use mung bean sprouts with leeks and tempura crumbs on top. The prices are a bit high, but the food is delicious. It's a shame they use the cheaper type of umesho (plum crystal) with chicken cartilage mixed in.

After work in Kachidoki, I toasted with a cold beer despite the cold weather. The sashimi platter today was excellent, especially the nodoguro and kuromutsu. The kawahagi with its liver intact was a pleasant surprise. The hidakami went down smoothly. The deep-fried skewered kombu with fish roe was delicious! The tempura of fresh squid was tasty! The sake "Keiko" brewed with natural water was easy to drink. The potato salad was generous and creamy, surprisingly delicious for the modest appearance of the restaurant (lol). The bill came out a little over 12,000 yen, more than I expected for a casual drink, but considering the freshness, meticulous work, and service, the cost performance might be good. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I went to have a drink with my son in Tsukishima from early in the day. I asked my son what he wanted to eat, and he said anything was fine. So I decided to go to my favorite place, Hachi. I apologize, but I couldn't take a photo of the sashimi platter we ordered because we were enjoying it with hot sake. It was really good. Today being a day off, there were mostly couples or families there. My son and I enjoyed dishes like fried shrimp and yuzu chirashi, squid and fried shrimp simmered dish, and early-season bamboo shoot simmered dish. The rapeseed blossoms with egg yolk soy sauce salad was delicious. Lastly, we had a bowl of minced tuna over rice. It was amazing. I'm grateful that my son drank with me.

Lunch at Hachi. I had the seafood bowl with fish bought at Matsurin Fishing Port. Delicious. This is too good for 1000 yen. Amazing! I poured Hachi's homemade dashi over half of it and added fresh wasabi from Amagi to mix it up. Delicious. Thank you for the meal.
