This is Furuiichian located in Hankyu Department Store Oimachi Food Hall. The shop is not in a station building, but on the first floor of a commercial facility in front of the station, so the access is good. It is a take-out store specializing in Kamigata sushi, mainly offering rolled sushi, pressed sushi, and chirashi sushi. I tried the "Sui" set (1,296 yen) which includes pressed sushi with battera, anago, and salmon, as well as futomaki, takana futomaki, and inari sushi. It seems to be made for two people as a main dish only, but it can be eaten by one person if this is all you are having. The battera has a classical style with a strong vinegar taste, giving it a traditional Japanese flavor. The anago is intricately made with shiitake mushrooms between the shari. The salmon is salted and dehydrated, resulting in a concentrated smoky flavor. The futomaki includes egg, cucumber, kanpyo, shiitake, and sakura denbu. The subtle sweetness of the sakura denbu gives it a standard flavor. The takana futomaki consists of egg, takana, kanpyo, and cucumber, wrapped in takana leaves instead of seaweed. It has a light and vegetable-rich taste that is enjoyable for adults. The inari sushi is available as a single item, called "Koinari Goma (76 yen)", with a main sweet fried taste, which pairs well with pickled ginger. Furuiichian is a great option when you want a slightly delicious main dish. You can create a luxurious meal by combining it with a main dish from other stores in Hankyu Department Store Oimachi Food Hall.
