Visited at 10:10 PM on January 14, 2023 for the Manchester Derby. Ordered fish and chips and a pint of beer. The London Bright was 1200 yen and the Heartland was 700 yen. They offer beers from America, the UK, Germany, and Japan. The atmosphere was calm with many foreign customers. The fish and chips tasted authentic and the seasoning was perfect. The beer selection was great for beer enthusiasts. I would love to come back to watch a soccer game next time!

Visited in September 2019. Currently rated 3.06. With only 3 reviews. The Rugby World Cup has started. I love festivals, so I already got tickets for next year's Olympics and Paralympics. Unfortunately, I missed out on both the opening and closing ceremonies. On this day, I wanted to watch the game with a group of friends, so I searched for a sports bar or pub nearby. This place caught my eye. I arrived early and managed to get a seat. I started with a beer and some snacks while waiting for the game to begin. The display was not very large, but it was visible from all angles. As the time approached, more and more customers arrived. By halftime, it was standing room only. Sports are great. In a time when there are many dark topics in society, sports always bring some energy. The food was delicious, but unfortunately, the first beer was not up to par. Despite that, I think this is a good sports pub. It will probably get crowded during major events. I hope to visit again in the future.

I drank a draft of Brewdog's Elvis Juice. It was delicious.

The other day at the Shimo-Kitazawa Curry Festival, I had the chance to encounter various types of curry besides curry shops. One of them was at "Publion," a British pub near the north exit of the station, and their curry was quite good. During the festival, you could even order a half-size curry. It was my fourth curry of the day, so I went for the half-size option without hesitation.
★Tender Beef Tendon and Organic Vegetables Curry from Koganei, Tokyo (Half Size) ¥650
Wow, what a beautiful presentation! The sweetness of the onions and the creamy curry flavor combined with the freshness of the vegetables. This curry was prepared with such care and was absolutely delicious. It was hard to believe it was from a beer pub, given the attention to detail. The Curry Festival really had some high-quality offerings.
As I was thinking that, I found out that this curry is actually available as a special menu item even outside of the festival period (although the half-size option is not available). This was quite surprising. I wouldn't have discovered it if it weren't for the festival.
★Punk IPA (Festival Price) ¥800
Of course, they also had craft beer on tap. An IPA (Indian Pale Ale) is the perfect match for this curry! A beer pub with delicious curry, I felt like I had gotten a great deal.

A pub where you can enjoy delicious beer and food. I ordered the cabbage roll and spare rib curry from TODAY'S SPECIAL MENU. The curry, which comes with coriander, is the shop's original recipe and it's really tasty!! They also have a smoked octopus dish which was incredibly delicious. I didn't take a photo of it, but it was so good that I chewed slowly to savor it haha. It goes really well with beer. The smoked mixed nuts were also unique and paired perfectly with beer. There are many original menu items that you won't find in other places, making it a place you want to keep coming back to. Although it's a pub, they have substantial dishes as well, so it's a great place for a meal too.

Located in a corner of the dining district on the north side of Shimokitazawa Station, this restaurant can be found on the second floor of a building just a short walk from the original railroad crossing after crossing over from the Oozeki supermarket. While I initially thought the name was "Pub Lion," it is actually called "Pubrion." I had two beers and one dish, which came to a total of 2550 yen. They have four types of beer on tap: Guinness, Bass, Malt, and Hoegaarden. The Guinness was poured quite well, although it didn't have a shamrock design. I tried the Fish & Chips in a small size (half portion), and the fish was a generous 12 centimeters in size, which was enough for one person. However, it was a bit disappointing that they didn't provide tartar sauce or ketchup, even though vinegar was included. Nevertheless, the dish was delicious. The next time, I might try the quiche. The interior of the restaurant is filled with wooden chairs and tables, giving it a cozy "pub" atmosphere. It has a more Irish pub vibe rather than a British one. There are four seats at the counter and a total capacity of around 20 seats including tables. The staircase is a bit steep, so be careful when leaving after a few drinks.
