When rewarding myself for working hard, I always go for sushi or yakiniku. The first thing that comes to mind when it comes to delicious meat is Tamura beef. Currently considered the best in Japan, "Tamura beef" is a type of wagyu beef that Prime Minister Abe served to President Trump during his visit to Japan. I received an email about a new plan where you can enjoy it alone, so I quickly made a reservation through Gurunavi for the solo dinner plan -KOU- for 8000 yen. I was able to use two seats at the counter by myself, sitting comfortably. The menu had my name written on it, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I started with a toast with beer, and the course included: Kimchi and namul assortment salad Wagyu tongue Tamura beef roast beef Rolled sushi Chef's recommended Tamura beef yakiniku Refreshing cold noodles Rare steak of Tamura beef's finest cut Tamura beef and dashi tea pickled rice Ice cream Costa coffee or tea The appetizer was cream cheese pickled in kimchi and yuba. The deliciousness goes perfectly with alcohol, making you feel like having wine. The yakiniku started with beef tongue. It's satisfying to have that part well covered. Quickly sear it, squeeze lemon juice over it, and it tastes amazing. Next up was the roast beef. The melting fat of this premium wagyu roast beef is divine, making your cheeks fall. Then came the main course of yakiniku. Sear the loin, dip it in sauce, and enjoy the yakiniku experience. Surprisingly, after the yakiniku, they served cold noodles as a palate cleanser. Then came the rare steak of Tamura beef's finest cut. The cold noodles were also to my liking with a gentle dashi. The noodles were chewy and had an excellent texture! The rare steak also had quite a volume and was very satisfying. After the yakiniku, cold noodles, steak, and then the finishing touch of tea pickled rice. Put the part with the beautiful marbling of Tamura beef on top of the rice, pour the dashi, and it turns a beautiful pink color. You can enjoy a flavor change by adding the minced Tamura beef that comes with it. The tender meat disappears in your mouth, spreading the umami of the dashi throughout. It was a dish that was truly moving. That minced meat was so delicious. I want to put it in onigiri. The ice cream was refreshing. For the final drink, I asked for an iced flat white and concluded the meal. My stomach was full, and I was very satisfied. It's not easy to find a place where you can indulge alone, so I have a feeling that solo high-end yakiniku will be trendy this year. Thank you for the feast. I will definitely come back!

I visited Tamakiya with my boss for a slightly luxurious lunch. We sat at the counter this time since it was just the two of us. As someone who used to work in the food and beverage industry, I find it enjoyable to sit at the counter where you can see the kitchen and watch the staff working efficiently. I decided to order the Tamura beef kalbi and loin lunch set (3000 yen) as I wanted to try different cuts of meat. I also ordered the extra curry (500 yen) following my boss's lead. First, the extra curry was served, and it was filled with large chunks of Tamura beef, providing a satisfying texture. The meat was tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. When the lunch set arrived, it came with side dishes and salad, perfect for a break between bites. I like my meat with a slight pink center, so I grilled it carefully and enjoyed it with the sauce. The loin was especially tender, and the kalbi had just the right amount of fat, complemented well by the refreshing sauce. There was a slight chewiness in one piece of kalbi, but overall, the meat was delicious and tender. I was worried about feeling sleepy after eating too much, so I had a black blend coffee to finish the meal. Good meat truly brings happiness. If the meat is delicious, then I am happy! It was tasty, but seemed to match its price. Lately, the focus seems to be more on the cut of the beef rather than the type of cattle. Preferences like less fat or a preference for ribeye are becoming more important. Perhaps if the salad dressing had been homemade, the experience would have been different. In the range of 1,000 to 2,000 yen for lunch barbecue options, this place is a good choice when you want to enjoy slightly better quality barbecue during the day.

I had a fascinating lunch experience at "Yakiniku Tamakiya" located on the first floor of the Akasaka/Toranomon area. I chose the luxurious White Course priced at ¥6,800 (tax included). This restaurant offers the highest quality black wagyu and female wagyu known as "Tamura beef". The lunch menu is more affordable compared to dinner, allowing you to enjoy a special lunch course. The course included a selection of kimchi and namul, a refreshing salad, Tamura beef seared sushi, 20g of premium wagyu tongue, 30g of Tamura beef roast beef, Tamura beef yakiniku trio (120g), a choice of Tamakiya cold noodles or Tamura beef curry for the finale, a sweet dessert, and your choice of Costa coffee to end the meal. The umeboshi kimchi for the appetizer was surprisingly delicious. The seared sushi was the epitome of luxury, with a taste that made me feel ecstatic. The wagyu tongue had a perfect balance of chewiness and tenderness, with a delightful sweetness. The Tamura beef roast beef had a beautiful marbling, melting in the mouth. The main dish of Tamura beef yakiniku trio was a dazzling array of Tomosankaku, rump, and ribeye, each offering a unique and exquisite taste. The cold noodles for the finale were refreshing and perfectly complemented by the Japanese-style broth. The hojicha pudding dessert was creamy and paired excellently with the Costa espresso. For me, a meal is not complete without coffee, and the Costa coffee provided a blissful ending to the dining experience. "Yakiniku Tamakiya" is not only perfect for evening business entertaining but also a wonderful place to enjoy a luxurious lunch.

In one part of Japan, there is a brand of beef called "Tamuragyu" that is sometimes considered the best in Japan. You can enjoy Tamuragyu at a restaurant in the Kasumigaseki/Toranomon area called "Yakiniku Tamakiya." Tamuragyu is a rare type of pure Tajima beef, focusing on virgin cows within the Kuroge Washu breed. The restaurant is quite rare in handling such high-quality beef. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was lively with mature staff and customers. We opted for a semi-private room this time. We had the Kurenai Kaiseki course (12,000 yen), which included kimchi, two types of namul, a unique plum kimchi with a hint of sweetness, a Chorogi salad, a uni and ikura flan, delicious sushi, wagyu tongue slices with salt and vinegar, premium Tamuragyu with marbled and lean cuts, a refreshing bite-sized cold noodles, Tamuragyu sirloin with salt and sauce, a half portion of Tamuragyu curry with a spicy aroma, and hojicha ice cream for dessert. The restaurant offers a chance to savor the world of Tamuragyu at a reasonable price. Meat lovers should definitely check out Yakiniku Tamakiya.

I participated in Tamakiya's wine tasting event. The head of the household's talk made it clear that they will definitely satisfy you more than the price! It was a fulfilling experience. I couldn't take pictures of everything, but the delicious meat dishes paired with wine were very satisfying. I definitely want to visit this place again!

I happened to pass by at lunchtime and was drawn into a yakiniku restaurant owned by Tamura Gyuu, even though I had already eaten lunch. The interior of the restaurant was clean and resembled a high-end steakhouse. The staff's service was polite and attentive, making me feel well taken care of. Despite my initial hesitation, I decided to order the 5 kinds of grilled meat lunch set for 6000 yen. After taking the first bite, I immediately noticed the way the fat melted and the extraordinary sweetness, along with the high-quality oil that was not overpowering. The meat was incredibly tender and of exceptional quality. Recently, I have been disappointed by frozen lunches at famous restaurants, but this was different. In particular, the cut of meat that had been entered into a meat tasting competition was superb. In the end, I ended up eating more than two-thirds of the rice, even though I had planned to cut back to avoid gaining weight. Among the lunchtime yakiniku restaurants in Tokyo, I believe this place is top-notch. I haven't tried the other lunch options, but if you're craving delicious yakiniku for lunch today, I highly recommend the 5 kinds of grilled meat set. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to offer a variety of sauces such as salt, spicy, ponzu, etc., in addition to the single sauce provided. Including salt-based options like tongue salt would make the experience even more perfect.

I visited this beef stew restaurant after seeing it introduced by Shinji Yamashita on TV. It is located near Toranomon Station. I was able to get a table right away, perhaps because I came a little later than lunchtime or because the prices are a bit high. It was my first time having yakiniku alone, so I was a bit nervous, but since it was lunchtime, the barrier wasn't as high as I thought. I ordered the kalbi lunch set and a bite-sized curry. The beef stew looked delicious, so I thought the curry might be good too. The yakiniku meat was very delicious, especially the kalbi. Although it's a bit pricey, considering the quality of the meat, it felt like a good deal. The sauce was refreshing and easy to eat, making it a satisfying lunch yakiniku. The kimchi and namul were also delicious, so I couldn't care less about the hurdle of having yakiniku alone, haha. Now, the curry - it was tasty, but it felt more like a retort curry than curry from a curry restaurant. It seemed like a predetermined roux that came from a factory and was adjusted a bit. It's a common pattern in other restaurants as well, so it can't be helped. The curry had a good amount of large meat chunks that melted in your mouth, which was great. It's a slightly pricey lunch, but recommended for those who want to eat slowly. Next time, I might try the beef stew recommended by Shinji Yamashita, or maybe yakiniku again. I'm torn.

This is a restaurant I often visit for lunch! Anyone I bring here always enjoys it, so it's a great choice when you want to have a proper lunch. Today, I ordered the Kalbi Rose Lunch. I really love the flavorful fat in Tamura beef. It doesn't make me feel stuffed at all. The Costa Coffee after the meal is a good deal at 500 yen.

A high-end yakiniku restaurant specializing in Tamura beef located in Kagurazaka. Visited with two colleagues for lunch at 11:30 on a weekday. We ordered a 5-kind assortment, a 3-kind assortment, and a large sirloin. As far as I know, this is the only Tamura beef specialty restaurant in Tokyo! Tamura beef is really delicious with sweet and flavorful fat, and it's good for your body. Highly recommended! Will definitely come back!

The reward dinner on Friday might just replace the top three Japanese Wagyu with the highest grade black-haired Wagyu, Tamura beef. It has the same roots as Kobe beef, but only uses virgin female cows, resulting in tender meat with a low melting point of fat. The Yukke-style roast beef with Japanese condiments like myoga and shiso is incredibly fresh! The thin okonomiyaki is perfect for snacking. Compared to other brands, Tamura beef is smaller in size, and the meat from female cows is tender and has no strong flavor, making lean meat the best choice to enjoy the quality. The marbling in the meat clearly distinguishes it from other brands. The sweet fat is incredibly delicious, and you won't feel heavy even if you eat a lot, so you won't feel sluggish the next day! For the choice of 3 endings, I highly recommend choosing curry! I made a reservation on Friday night and visited the restaurant for the first time alone. It is located very close to Toranomon Station, in a great location. The interior of the restaurant is very stylish and has an open atmosphere. Tamakiya has become a specialty store for Tamura beef since May 2022. Tamura beef has won the top prize at various wagyu beef competitions. It is a rare beef, with only 1000 heads being sold annually, and it is said that it was eaten by President Trump when he visited Japan with Prime Minister Abe. I enjoyed the solo dinner course for 8000 yen on this day. You can use a spacious area for two at the counter. I enjoyed yakiniku, meat sushi, and meat tea pickles, and I was satisfied. "Wagyu tongue" -> Stable (probably) tongue! The outside is crispy and the inside is soft and delicious. "Tamura beef sushi roll, topped with sea urchin & salmon roe" -> Looks luxurious with sea urchin and salmon roe overflowing! Not only that, the hidden raw Tamura beef inside is incredibly delicious. During lunchtime, you can enjoy the exquisite taste of "Tamura beef" at a shockingly delicious yakiniku restaurant! I always thought Tamura beef was super high-end, but I was surprised to find that you can eat it at such a reasonable price during lunchtime! The meat itself is sweet, and the more you chew, the more delicious it becomes! They even prepared garlic-free sauce and namul for my friend who has a garlic allergy, and the staff's service was wonderful. I'm curious about the course menu for dinner, so I will definitely come back!

【Kagakashikan】"Yakiniku Tamakiya" is a place where you can enjoy the highest quality female Wagyu cattle, Tamura beef. It is located on the first floor of the Tokyo Club Building. In addition to table seats, there are semi-private rooms, private rooms, and a counter, so you can choose the seating according to your needs. We had the Kurenai course on this day. The Cholegi salad has a simple seasoning of salted kelp. Unlike other yakiniku restaurants, the course also includes Chijimi. The Tamura beef Yukke-style roast beef is seasoned with a generous amount of pepper, making it refreshing. The first meat dish is the premium Japanese beef tongue. It is not Tamura beef, but it is a thick cut of about 1cm, crispy and flavorful. The tare yakiniku is consistently delicious. The sirloin comes in a large, thin piece, more than enough for one serving. I thought the course portion was modest, but with the succession of fatty meats, it was just right. Since the meat is of good quality and there is no full attention, I thought it would have been nice to have some explanation about the grilling. For dessert, I chose curry from cold noodles, curry, and Yukkejang kookpa. The curry contains tender pieces of beef tendon, which is luxurious and delicious! The dessert for the day was chestnut blancmange instead of ice cream. If you plan to drink 3-4 glasses of alcohol, I think it's definitely worth adding the all-you-can-drink option! The course menu starts from around 7000 yen, making it a very reasonable place to enjoy Tajima beef. The set menu includes various dishes such as kimchi, namul, choregi salad, roast Tajima beef with raw egg, Korean seafood pancake, deluxe tongue of Japanese beef, lean and marbled Tajima beef with sauce, Tajima beef sirloin (choice of salty or sauce), and a choice of cold noodles, curry rice, or spicy beef rice-soup for the finish. The kimchi and namul have a mild flavor, and the seafood pancake is fluffy. The Tajima beef is of high quality, so it is best to lightly sear it. The sirloin can be enjoyed with salt or sauce, with salt being recommended. The course menu's unique ending allows for a choice of three options, and the cold noodles and curry rice were surprisingly delicious. The curry is filled with tender meat chunks, and the cold noodles are topped with generous portions of beef, making it a must-try. Using luxurious Tajima beef, it is highly recommended to order these dishes a la carte as well.
