It was crowded even during summer vacation at lunchtime. I chose the Spicy Tantan noodles with dumplings and smashed cucumbers. The noodles were thick and spicier than I expected. I wished the dumplings had more volume. The cucumbers were refreshing. Thank you for the meal.

I went on a Sunday morning and luckily there were plenty of empty seats so I was seated right away. I was debating whether to order the black sesame tantanmen that I had tried before, but ended up choosing the soupless version. At first, it was nothing special, but gradually the spiciness built up and I found myself drinking the egg soup that came with it more frequently. Eventually, the egg soup wasn't enough to cool down the spiciness, so I ended up drinking water. The soupless version seemed to have a stronger spiciness or rather numbness. However, it wasn't so spicy that I couldn't eat it, so I would recommend it to those who enjoy the numb sensation. Thank you for the meal.

I had a hard time deciding what to order from the lunch menu with so many options, but I chose the shrimp chili set. I switched the rice to fried rice. It was a bit disappointing that the fried rice was cold, but the meal was filling and satisfying. Thank you for the meal.

It's been about 10 years since I last visited this restaurant. I used to come here a lot when I was a student. Due to the rain, we decided to go to AEON to keep the kids entertained. The food court was quite crowded after 11 o'clock, so we visited this place instead. I ordered the highball pork soba. The sweetness of the meat in the broth was delicious. The pickled vegetables also added a nice touch. I also tried some fried rice that the kids ordered and it was good with the meat on top. It was a delicious meal at Red Tiger after a long time. Thank you ☺️

After shopping at Ion, I went to the Red Tiger Dumpling House located inside Ion for lunch. I ordered the Black Sesame Tan Tan Men. It had a good level of spiciness and the numbing sensation from the Sichuan pepper was just right. It made my pores open up and my tongue tingle, but it was still enjoyable to eat as it was not too spicy.

I went to Ion and my child was throwing a tantrum because they wanted to eat ramen, so we had no choice but to come here! I was grateful that they had a kids menu. I ordered the white sesame tantanmen with fried rice set and a bottle of beer (Asahi). The tantanmen is a classic choice and I have had it in many places. I'm not a big fan of sansho pepper, so I was a bit worried about that, but overall it was good. The fried rice that came with the set was delicious, but the one ordered by the other person in the set was a bit bland. We also ordered gyoza, which was just okay.

Red Tiger often comes to mind when I feel like eating dumplings, but this time I had some errands in the area during the daytime on a weekday, so I decided to stop by for lunch. The restaurant is located inside a mall with parking available, and there seems to be a parking discount as well. The spacious interior layout has plenty of tables, which are large and not cramped. They also have kids' chairs and a kids' menu, making it family-friendly. I ordered the Spicy Tan Tan Men, and the staff kindly advised me that it is the spiciest noodle dish they offer. I reassured them that I had tried it before, but to my surprise, it was even spicier this time! It was so spicy that I had to remove the chili flakes one by one, and the noodles ended up getting stretchy. If you enjoy spicy food, I recommend trying this dish. I should have listened to the staff's advice...

I had lunch at Koutora Gyoza-Tei on the 5th floor of Ion Itabashi! I ordered the Yurinchi Chicken Set, which came with rice, egg soup, and pickles, and also added a hot iron pot stick gyoza. The Yurinchi Chicken consisted of large pieces of crispy fried chicken with fried potatoes and lotus root, making it a satisfying dish. It wasn't greasy, and the chicken was juicy and delicious. The stick gyoza remained hot even after some time, and you could still taste the crunchy vegetables inside. They also offer a free gyoza service when you show a movie ticket!

Lunch at the Aeon in Tobu Nerima. There is a food court, but I wanted to relax, so I decided to choose a restaurant on the top floor near Aeon Cinema. I noticed "Kohotai Gyoza-ya," which used to be a popular Chinese chain. It was a bit empty when I arrived in the afternoon. I was seated at a table for four and looked at the menu. I chose the "Mala Tan Tan Men" because there were many types of tantanmen. It arrived in about 5 minutes. The Mala Tan Tan Men had minced meat, chopped leeks, and green onions. The soup was soy sauce-based with a layer of chili oil on top, making it red. It had a strong flavor of Sichuan pepper and was very delicious. The noodles were curly egg noodles, firm and tasty. I was very satisfied! However, the price was a bit high... It was ¥880 before tax, but it ended up being over ¥900 at the checkout. If it came with a side of mini rice or a drink, I would understand, but paying almost ¥1000 for ramen is a bit much. I wish it was a bit cheaper, maybe even ¥100 less. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I chose the set with noodles and fried rice. I chose the shrimp wonton ramen. The soup was too strong and the wontons were hard. The bamboo shoots also had a strange taste. The egg was overcooked and too hard. The fried rice, on the other hand, had a nice and gentle flavor, which was delicious.

The restaurants in Ion Itabashi seem to be somewhat mediocre. Due to the clientele and pricing, it's understandable, but it limits adventurous choices. The layout is typical with large tables like a cafeteria, suitable for families. The interior is clean and spacious, making it comfortable and efficient for the staff to serve customers. I thought Red Tiger would be the same everywhere, but the menu is simplified. Set menus are the main focus, with fewer variations of dumplings and individual items. The taste is a bit different, leaning towards spicy with more chili oil. It seems like they season the dishes by eye rather than using specific sauces. It's not bad, but some dishes may be too spicy for children, so I recommend the set menu. Also, you can get a discount on dumplings with an Ion Cinema ticket stub.

I came to see a movie and had dinner. I had dumplings and Shanghai fried noodles, and the set menu was a great deal with mapo tofu and oil-splashed chicken. It was delicious!
