Hello, this is B-grade gourmet. The other day, while strolling around the area near Ebara-Nakanobu, I bought a cake and started craving something salty. As I walked, I arrived at Nakanobu station, where the Tokyu Oimachi Line and Asakusa Line intersect above and below ground, which was quite interesting. Next to a Takoyaki shop where some boys were eating, there was a big signboard saying 500 yen... I was curious what it was. That's when I found "Asian Kebab Nakanobu Store." It was my first time here, but apparently there are 6 stores in Tokyo, with the first store being in Shirogane? Quite impressive to open the first store in such a place. The smell outside the store was enticing. When I used to work in Chiba, there was a Kebab shop on the way from work to the station, and I used to get drawn in and eat there. However, I had not had Kebab since I transferred to Tokyo. Inside the store, there was a machine rotating the meat, but instead of cutting it each time, the pre-cut meat was kept warm in a rice cooker-like container. A brilliant idea. I ordered a Kebab sandwich for 500 yen. You can choose from 3 types of sauce - original, spicy, and mixed. I chose the mixed sauce. The staff asked if it was for takeout, and I said yes, so I received it immediately. There is also seating inside the store for dining in. There was only one other customer. The Kebab sandwich was bigger than I expected. The top cabbage was crunchy, followed by chicken, pickles, and more cabbage. The taste was not as strong as I imagined, quite mild. As mentioned, this Kebab is made with chicken, so it was quite refreshing. The chicken skin was crispy, the meat was tender, and you could taste the sauce. The pickles were well marinated, and there were about 3 large pickles in the sandwich. The staff seemed to be Turkish and spoke fluent Japanese, so communication was easy. I took it home and warmed it up in the microwave to have for dinner. It was enough for me as I realized how big it was. They also sell just the Kebab meat (Kebab appetizer), Kebab curry, Kebab rice bowl, and other tempting items, but I couldn't eat that much, so I passed this time. However, the photos looked delicious. It might be a good snack while exploring the city. Since the entrance to Nakanobu station on the Asakusa Line was right there, I headed there to go back home. Thank you for the meal!
