I visited the restaurant at 12 pm on a regular day and found that there were plenty of empty seats. The menu had changed since my last visit, with significant price increases. For example, the price of 3 dumplings went up from ¥200 to ¥300. The service seemed to be slower as well, with only one server attending to the tables. Despite the price increases and slower service, I still find the food delicious, especially the dumplings which I really like. So, I think I will end up visiting the restaurant again, even though it's not as affordable as it used to be.

I ordered three dishes: vermicelli, pan-fried dumplings, and mapo tofu knife-cut noodles. Overall, they were all delicious, but I was particularly impressed by the pan-fried dumplings. The prices were reasonable, and I have no complaints about this excellent restaurant. I will definitely be coming back again. If I had to mention one negative point, it would be that the plates at our table were not clean, but when I mentioned it to the staff, they quickly replaced them with clean ones, so it was not a problem in the end. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Visited at 1 pm on a weekday, there were seats available. Ordered the meat and vegetable stir-fry set for ¥650 and 3 dumplings for ¥200. Was disappointed to hear that the free drinks were no longer available. It had been a while since my last visit, and when I placed my order, I was told that the ¥100 ramen couldn't be added to the set. I had visited over 30 times in the past and had never been told that before, but I just waited quietly. Then, a woman at the next table pointed out that her salad had no dressing, to which the staff responded, "There is no dressing." How are we supposed to eat it then? It's not a bug! "That's just unacceptable!" I couldn't help but say. There used to be several female staff members, but this time there was only one young male staff member. The dumplings and meat and vegetable stir-fry are delicious, but it does make you think a bit.

I checked out the tweets of people eating "serious Chinese food" and found this place. It wasn't that serious, but it was nice to see the staff's child coming back to the restaurant with a school bag and eating at the table. The restaurant is called Gyoza Sakaba, and they have a wide variety of dumplings! Of course, they also have many other Chinese dishes. The most delicious one was the shiso-yaki gyoza, with plenty of shiso and a great aroma. All the dumplings have plenty of filling, are satisfying, and the skin is thick and chewy. There were no descriptions, but the dumplings with small shrimp inside were a surprise. You'll need 5-6 people to conquer all the dumpling varieties. The fried dumplings are perfect for drinking. The shrimp chili dish was unexpectedly large and amazing. They also have an all-you-can-eat dumpling course, which is cheap and better than expected. So I'm satisfied. Each person costs around ¥3000. I visited Uguisudani on this day. It was my first time at this second location I had passed by a few times before. It was a weekday night, but the restaurant seemed quite busy. Perhaps there were many groups having parties. I started with an Asahi Super Dry bottled beer, which was very tasty. For food, we had steamed dumplings, pig's feet, and more. The steamed dumplings had a chewy skin and were delicious, with a strong garlic flavor. The pig's feet had a rich taste and paired well with the beer. We ordered some other dishes as well, but they didn't arrive. When we asked, it turned out they hadn't been put in. It was understandable as the restaurant seemed busy. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again if I have the chance.

Pork and vegetable stir-fry set meal for ¥650. Rice refill is free (lunch+). Half ramen for an additional ¥100 is a great deal. The food is delicious and they are trying their best without raising prices. Unfortunately, from yesterday, the all-you-can-drink soft drinks have been discontinued. The free hot coffee was also not available due to "machine malfunction." I don't drink coffee, but my friend said it was really delicious, made from a proper machine.

Before work, I stopped by this restaurant for lunch and it was surprisingly amazing. The interior was spacious and seemed to cater to group needs as well. I ordered a set with 8 large dumplings as the main dish, along with various side dishes, all for 900 yen. The dumplings were packed with filling and delicious, the side dishes were varied, and they even offered free drinks. I was surprised to get all of this for just 900 yen including tax. I was so full that I didn't feel hungry again until 7 hours later. This restaurant truly lived up to its reputation!

The dumplings are handmade. We all made them together in the back room. The lamb skewers were cheap and spicy, and the pan-fried dumplings and dumplings were delicious. We ate them as a couple, but the portions were large, so it might be better to go with a larger group to taste a variety of dishes. It would be nice if we could order half the amount.

First visit. The interior of the restaurant is spacious with tables and sunken kotatsu-style seating areas, larger than it appears from the outside. I ordered the Shiso Gyoza, Mapo Tofu, and Karaage set which comes with two highballs. When I mentioned that I wanted to start with a draft beer, they said it was okay to have the highballs later. Each dish came out with a generous portion. The Mapo Tofu was bubbling hot in a cast iron pot, the Gyoza was large and flavorful with a good amount of shiso, and the Karaage was crispy although the chicken could have been juicier. We also ordered extra wing gyoza which were also delicious with a crispy skin. Overall, it was a great value for two people. I think it would be even better value for a larger group. About a 5-minute walk from Uguisudani Station, perfect for enjoying some gyoza. The interior has many table seats in a long layout. Pair your gyoza with a highball for a satisfying meal. The shiso gyoza has a whole shiso leaf inside, providing a strong flavor punch. The skin is thick, the filling is substantial, and the garlic flavor is just right. Each piece packs a powerful punch. The water gyoza also has thick skin. The Peking duck was delicious, with crispy skin and occasional bits of meat, making it quite oily. The garlic-heavy pea shoots made it a garlic fest for a while.

I went to this shop located about a 5-minute walk from Uguisudani Station. The interior has about 50 seats, including table seats and tatami mats. When I looked at the menu, there were various types of dumplings... As a dumpling enthusiast, I got excited by the variety on the menu. I may have had too high expectations for the stick dumplings and wing dumplings, as they were not incredibly delicious. It was just okay. I stopped by to have dinner with friends who were moving separately during the day. The place is located about 200 meters east of Uguisudani Station North Exit along the Genmon Street. The restaurant has a Chinese-style izakaya atmosphere. We ordered a few dishes at random. The staff are all from mainland China, and their customer service varies from average to a bit disappointing. However, the food was surprisingly delicious. The fried rice was fluffy and perfectly seasoned, and the fried chicken was crispy and juicy. I would like to try the dumplings next time.

When I went to Toritsubaki in the "Solitary Gourmet" series, I waited outside for standing drinking. Since I couldn't read the waiting time, or rather, there were people waiting ahead of me, I decided to go to a different restaurant that I already knew. The marinated chicken gizzard and cucumber dish is spicy but delicious. The lamb skewers and minced meat crepe wrap are also nicely seasoned. The Sichuan-style fried chicken cartilage is perfect as a snack for those drinking beer or highballs. However, the Shanghai-style grilled xiaolongbao is a bit disappointing compared to others. Finally, I had squid ink and vegetable yakisoba for the finale, the squid ink flavor is a bit lacking but overall tasty. Why is the restaurant not crowded? I will sew now ☆

I went to a Chinese restaurant that was featured in "The Lonely Gourmet" and I was a little worried because it was empty, but the dishes I ordered were all delicious. I like spicy food, so the pork ear and cucumber salad, lamb skewers, chicken cartilage stir-fry, sweet and sour beef wrapped in skin, and squid ink yakisoba were all tasty. I will definitely visit again.

I went to this restaurant instead of going to Nonki, which I had been interested in, but found out it was closed. The place seemed quiet at first glance, but it was actually bustling inside. I was thinking of getting the daily special of fried chicken, but the menu was so extensive that I decided to get the Gyoza Set for 700 yen, with the option to upgrade to a mini fried rice or mini ramen for an additional 100 yen. I chose the fried rice. It took a while to be served because there were many customers, but the fried rice came out first, followed by the deliciously chewy gyoza. The fried rice was a hit and the sauna was no problem.

My son and I went out for dinner. We ordered Sun Ra Soup, miso ramen, gyoza, and fried chicken. We have been coming here for 3 years now. The gyoza is delicious and I never get tired of it, made with black pork. The Sun Ra Soup was also very tasty. The fried chicken is my absolute favorite.

I ordered the water dumpling set meal! You can add either half fried rice or half ramen for 100 yen, so I ordered one of each to share! I was told that if I add half fried rice, I won't get white rice, but I thought it's okay since I don't want to eat too much rice! The half fried rice came first. It had a delicious salty flavor that I really liked! It was so tasty that I wished I had ordered a larger portion! Then around 3:00 pm, the set meal was brought to me. Wait, there's white rice too...? Contrary to the explanation earlier, both fried rice and white rice were served (?) Maybe they gave me a special service? I didn't point it out and just gratefully ate both!! The water dumplings had a chewy skin and a gentle flavor of the filling, not too strong, and it was very delicious! It was a satisfying meal with a generous portion!! However, (；＿；) just after the dishes were served, even though I hadn't finished eating yet, I was told to "please leave early because we close at 3:00 pm".... I was still eating but at 3:20 pm, I was rushed again to leave because they were closing.... If they had mentioned the last order was at 2:30 pm or that they would close at 3:00 pm when I entered, it would have been better, I thought (´･_･`) It was a bit disappointing considering how delicious and filling the meal was. If I go there again, I'll make sure to go a bit earlier (T ^ T)

The dishes were all delicious, and the restaurant seemed to have a good mix of popular and less popular items. It was mostly solo diners ordering set meals.
