I traveled from Kokura to Yahata to Nogata to Hakata. Although I only knew about "Hagure Ikkyu," my goal was Roushi-ten. The main store is registered, but I heard that Ohashi is the main store as well. However, either is fine. Along the way, I came across a striking greengrocer, so I stopped by to buy some fruit, and they said that good Shine Muscat grapes would arrive at 12 o'clock. To pass the time until then, I headed to the old candidate store. There are about 7 branches of Ikku Ramen in the prefecture, and Roushi-ten was established in 1965. I have only known the taste of Hagure Ikku (not a relative) at the Kasuya store. The Kasuya store is on the way back to my hometown. I used to stop by there often. Now, Roushi-ten has a spacious parking lot, and since it was in the 11 o'clock hour, I was able to park easily and sat at the counter at the back (left side). There was a sign in front of me for "Wonton Ramen," so I ordered that. Ramen for 500 yen, Wonton Ramen for 650 yen. I bow my head in respect. I later regretted it, but it would have been better to get the extra spicy pickled vegetables on a separate plate. It's really spicy (´;ω;`) I hurried to eat the wontons before the spiciness of the pickled vegetables soaked into the soup. Ouch, it's almost burning. But it's delicious. A smooth filling with a small amount of sauce. A good balance. The soup is like Nagahama-style, light and easy to drink. I missed out on eating "rich Kitakyushu ramen" in Kokura yesterday, so I was looking forward to it a bit... There was also little pork bone smell, and the soup was easy to drink. It didn't look cloudy, but it did... (^^♪ The thin chashu typical of Hakata was also good. And the essential "spicy pickled vegetables" allowed me to enjoy the tingling spiciness and finish off with "red pickled ginger" to refresh my mouth. The person next to me ordered an extra serving, but here, once you order, they take your bowl away. It came back about 3 minutes later. Isn't that unusual? I wished that the bowl carried by the mother wouldn't tip over for a long time.

Wonton noodles for 650 yen, small rice for 100 yen. The light pork bone soup is delicious. The wontons are tasty and come in a generous portion. The chashu is tender and flavorful. The taste is great and the cost performance is excellent.

I had Hakata ramen at Ichikyu Ramen Ichikyu Honten in Minami-ku, Fukuoka City. This is a local Hakata tonkotsu ramen shop that is committed to not expanding outside of Fukuoka Prefecture. Each store has its own unique features, and I would like to try comparing the different flavors.

Hello, it's Food Fighter Kyantama! Today, I had some errands in Minami Ward, so I stopped by Ikkyu Ramen in Roushi. It was crowded at lunchtime on a Saturday. Ikkyu Ramen has that traditional Fukuoka ramen feel, which is really nice. It seems like they are planning to move to a building next door, but it's not confirmed yet. Overall, a good ramen experience!

I visited Ikkyu Ramen, an old-established ramen shop, for the first time. It was a rainy afternoon on a weekday, so it was not crowded and I could enter right away. The atmosphere inside the shop was very calming. I ordered ramen for 500 yen. It had thin noodles and Hakata-style tonkotsu soup, which was piping hot and delicious. The red pickled ginger went well with it. Sometimes I just crave tonkotsu ramen, so I would like to visit again. Next time, I want to try the highly recommended wonton as well. The smile from the owner as we left was also nice. It was delicious. Thank you very much.

I have recently been drawn to the traditional style of long-established shops. So, I visited this shop, which I thought would be relatively easy to visit now. The large serving of Wonton Men is ¥750. If you order just the ramen, it is priced at a coin, similar to the pricing in the Showa era. There are plenty of wontons on top, but it seems like the dish would still stand out even with just the soup. Also, with the large serving, there is plenty of noodles, making it quite satisfying to eat.

[Visit Date] May 27, 2023 (11:15) [Shop] The shop has a traditional ramen restaurant appearance. There is a gravel parking lot next to it that can accommodate about 10 cars, but it has an irregular shape. There were also cars parked haphazardly in front of the shop. The menu consists of only pork bone ramen and onigiri. Under the pork bone ramen category, there are options like wonton ramen, chashu ramen, spicy mustard greens ramen, and sinachiku ramen. On the table, there are free toppings like pickled ginger, pepper, and spicy chili oil. [Ramen] It is a light pork bone ramen that you can eat smoothly. The taste is exquisite and well-balanced, with just the right amount of pork bone flavor without being overpowering. The oil is subtly floating on top of the soup, and while the first bite may not be very impactful, it gradually becomes more and more delicious as you eat. It's a mysterious ramen that makes you want to eat more without realizing it. Additionally, adding the table's spicy chili oil for flavor variation is exceptionally delicious. It has a moderate level of spiciness, so even those who are not good with spicy food should be fine. Adding the chili oil transforms the ramen into a different, delicious dish. It's really tasty. I now understand why this long-established shop is so famous. The shop is relatively small, with about 20 seats (I entered the shop at 11:15 on a Saturday), and customers kept coming in, but they also ate quickly, so the turnover rate was high, with about 95% of the seats occupied at all times. [Cost Performance] The regular ramen costs 500 yen. Considering how delicious it is and the price, this is the best cost performance I have experienced in Fukuoka City.

I have been to the main store near Ohashi Station before, but this was my first visit to this branch. I visited in the evening and easily entered the store. The shop has a nice atmosphere with a lingering Showa era vibe. I ordered a large serving of wonton noodles, and the noodles were soft. The bowl arrived with plenty of soup and noodles. The soup was light with a subtle pork bone flavor. The medium-thin noodles had a nice texture when slurped, and were very delicious. The wontons were springy and had a hint of pepper, also very tasty. The shop I had visited in Ohashi before had a strong artificial flavor impression, but this one had a gentle taste that makes me want to visit regularly. There were also families with elementary school children, creating a nice atmosphere inside the shop. Next time, I would like to visit the Kasuya branch.

Founded in 1964, Ichikyu Ramen Ohashi Main Store is a popular ramen shop in Fukuoka, Japan. The founder's brother opened a branch in Rojisu the following year, which is now known as Roji Main Store under the second brand 18 Ramen, with four stores in Fukuoka. Ichikyu Ramen currently operates seven stores in Fukuoka, all managed by relatives except for the Kasuya store. The Roji Main Store was visited for the first time, and despite it being almost full before noon on a weekday, the classic Hakata ramen with a rich tonkotsu aroma was served. The ramen was surprisingly light but full of flavor, with a strong punch in the seasoned filling of the wonton. The soup was satisfyingly delicious, making it a popular choice. It was a great start to the Kyushu tour with Ichikyu Ramen.

Ramen 500 yen, rice (small) 100 yen [Total] 600 yen
"Ichikyu Ramen" seems to be a local chain ramen shop only found in Fukuoka prefecture. It might have been the most delicious tonkotsu ramen I've ever had in my life! The soup was incredibly delicious. Just one sip and I was hooked. There were pepper, roasted sesame seeds, ground sesame seeds, and pickled ginger on the table, so I tried adding each one separately. The result was that the soup was the most delicious as it is, without adding anything. The thin noodles of Hakata ramen are usually not that tasty no matter where you eat, but the noodles here were reasonably delicious. The atmosphere inside the restaurant had a retro Showa vibe, which was nice. I'm satisfied, satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

We went around lunch time and waited in line for about 5 minutes. Luckily, we got there at a good time because the line grew quite long behind us afterwards. We ordered the following:
- Spicy mustard greens ramen
- Extra noodles
- Hard-boiled egg
The spicy mustard greens were authentically spicy. I love spicy food, so I was happy with the heat, but it made the soup itself a bit less flavorful. I thought the regular ramen might be better. I ordered the noodles extra firm, and they were cooked perfectly al dente with a good chewy texture. The hard-boiled egg was served with the shell on and the yolk was firm. By the way, the wontons here are delicious! Next time, I'll try the regular ramen or the wonton noodles!

I came to Ichikyu Ramen Honten. I bought the wonton ramen from the vending machine. I ordered it with firm noodles. It arrived in about 3 minutes, and when I tasted the soup, it was quite salty. I usually go to Nagahama-ya, so I noticed it especially. The taste is delicious.

It had been a while since I last visited, and I was pleased to see a ticket machine installed. A bowl of ramen for 500 yen is very reasonable these days. The ramen is a traditional light style, and I couldn't help but finish the soup. The soup and noodles match well and are delicious. Various innovative ramen options are also tasty, but surprisingly, I never get tired of this type of ramen. The old-fashioned shops that have been loved for a long time are still the best.

Number one in repeat rate, Ichi Kyu Ramen Osushi-ten. Their classic light tonkotsu ramen has remained unchanged since long ago. Today, I tried their wonton noodles. 1. Wonton noodles for 650 yen with char siu topping for 150 yen.
2. Char siu noodles for 650 yen.
3. Wonton noodles for 650 yen.
4. Two rice balls for 150 yen.
5. Extra noodle refill for 100 yen.
The soup is light but has a satisfying oily richness, with a good balance of saltiness and flavor intensity. The handmade wontons are a must-try here. It's been a while, so I added char siu topping. My favorite is eating the rice balls with the soup. If I don't come back for a while, I noticed they changed to a ticket vending machine. Thank you for the meal.

In the southern district, next to a highly rated Hakata ramen shop, I parked my car in the neighboring parking lot and entered the nostalgic interior of the restaurant. There seemed to be quite a few local regular customers. I ordered the Wonton Ramen for 650 yen, with the noodles cooked firm. The ramen had plenty of meat and the smooth wontons were delicious. The rich soup was extremely tasty! I also ordered a boiled egg for 50 yen and an extra serving of noodles for 100 yen. The prices for the ramen were reasonable, and the staff were all very friendly, making for a cozy atmosphere. Thank you for the meal! (^~^)

I arrived near Nodame in the early afternoon and decided to eat at "Ikkyu Ramen Old Master Main Store". There were plenty of parking spaces available, but I barely managed to find one empty spot to park. I sat at the counter inside the restaurant and quickly placed my order. I ordered the "Wonton Noodles". The noodles were boiled in a large pot, and the way the owner scooped them up evenly was a sight to see. After waiting for about 3 minutes, my dish arrived! First, I took a sip of the soup. It was richer than it looked. It was incredibly delicious. Next, I slurped up the noodles. They were medium-thin straight noodles, slightly firm by default. About half of the customers specified their desired firmness when ordering. Then, I tried a wonton. The skin was smooth, and it had a good meaty texture. It was really tasty. The toppings included a slice of pork chashu, plenty of chopped green onions, and lots of wontons, making it a substantial meal. There were also various condiments available for flavor customization. I added ground sesame and yuzu pepper as I enjoyed my meal, and I finished every last bit. It was a delightful dining experience. Payment is cash only.

I had the classic tonkotsu ramen. The light soup and firm noodles were really good. I couldn't resist getting an extra serving and changing up the flavor a bit. I wanted to add a boiled egg for 50 yen, but unfortunately, they were out when I ordered. Looking forward to trying it next time.

In 2022, I ate 145 bowls of ramen. Among them, I had 16 bowls at Ikkon Ramen Old Master Main Store. I visited ramen shops more than once every 3 days. I had planned to start 2023 with a bowl of ramen at Ikkon Ramen Old Master Main Store, but as expected, there was a long line. I waited in line, and once again this year, my wish for a great start was fulfilled with a bowl of ramen with firm noodles. It was the best ramen I've had. Master, you always handle numerous orders with precision and provide ramen reliably. You also keep track of all the payments. I have great respect for your ramen. Please continue your great work this year as well.

I had the chance to head towards Naka River City from Ohashi for the first time in a while, so I decided to revisit the basics and visited the popular long-established ramen shop "Ichi Kyu Ramen Roushi Main Store". Usually, the parking lot is full during lunch peak times and there is often a wait, but this time I arrived right at 12 o'clock and managed to slip in without waiting. Since I recently had a disappointing experience with wonton noodles, I decided to order the wonton noodles for 650 yen for a rematch. With the recent trend of price increases, this price is quite pleasing. While waiting, I enjoyed a boiled egg for 50 yen that was on the table. After a short wait, the wonton noodles arrived. The wontons were generously filled, not just a few. The rich-looking soup with oil floating on top is very appetizing. First, I tried a wonton with the soup. The soup is a nicely thick pork bone broth, and the chewy texture of the wonton combined with the salty wonton soup was delicious! The straight thin noodles, not extremely thin, had a good chewy texture and matched well with the soup. The char siu, which is sometimes not included in wonton noodles, was not dry pork loin but tender pork belly, adding a nice touch to the dish. I didn't order extra noodles, so to change up the flavor, I added some pickled ginger, which added a bit of spiciness. Then, I added a bit of yuzu pepper from the table, which gave a refreshing yuzu aftertaste that matched well with the rich soup. Once again, the wonton noodles here hit the spot with the noodles and wontons being delicious. Thank you for the meal.

【Soy Sauce Tonkotsu Ramen】#BestMealReceived an invitation for ramen and visited the new restaurant, Ichiku Ramen Oji-ten, for the first time. It was lunchtime and there were about 4 groups waiting ahead of us. Since it's a ramen shop, the turnover was fast and we were seated in about 10 minutes. I had a hard time deciding on the menu... ■Shinachiku Ramen ■Onigiri ■Extra noodles I love Menma, so I tried Shinachiku Ramen for the first time in my life. Topped with plenty of sesame seeds...the creamy soy sauce tonkotsu soup and thin noodles were perfect. The crunchy texture of the Menma was also amazing. It was a satisfying meal in the middle of the day. Thank you for the meal.
