Fukuoka City, Hakata Ward, Nakasu 1-chome - 3 minutes walk from Subway "Kushida Shrine" Station! The access has improved. This is a long-established restaurant with 60 years of history! A popular spot for "Teppanyaki Steak" and "Sukiyaki & Shabu Shabu" - the exterior has a sophisticated look suitable for a high-end restaurant! The first floor of the restaurant has counter seats (Teppanyaki) and private rooms available. The second floor has Japanese-style private rooms with table seats and sunken kotatsu table seats. We tried the "Sukiyaki & Shabu Shabu" course featuring Imari beef. Starting with a 5-item appetizer platter including "Sesame Amberjack" and "Chawanmushi," the quality of the dishes was high and delicious! The staff cooks and serves the Sukiyaki & Shabu Shabu, making it convenient for guests. First, we tried the "Shabu Shabu" with lightly cooked Imari beef A5 rank, dipping it in special ponzu and sesame sauce - "Wow, delicious!" For those who prefer a light taste, the "Shabu Shabu" is recommended. The "Sukiyaki" is made with the beautiful Imari beef A5 in a hot iron pot, sizzling and cooked with a special Sukiyaki sauce. The beautifully portioned Imari beef is dipped in plenty of raw egg - so delicious! The sweet soy sauce flavor combines with the raw egg, allowing you to enjoy the harmony with Imari beef. For those who want to indulge, trying both the "Shabu Shabu" and "Sukiyaki" will allow you to fully appreciate the deliciousness of Imari beef A5. For the course finale, you can choose between "Shime Udon" or "Shime Ramen"! This time, we had both the ramen and udon - both were delicious! The shime udon has a flavor that becomes addictive. The dessert was brought from the affiliated store "Kikuya Cafe" and included "Cheesecake" and "Iced Coffee." This is a top-class restaurant specializing in "Sukiyaki & Shabu Shabu" in Fukuoka! Thank you for the meal. Enjoy Wagyu Life☆

On Sundays in Hakata, many shops are closed, especially high-end restaurants or those with private rooms. However, I was relieved to find that Kikuya was open. I ordered a teppanyaki course over the phone. I had imagined a teppanyaki style setup with a hot plate in front of me, but to my surprise, I was led to a tatami room where the hostess cooked on a small home-style hot plate. The meal was well-balanced, delicious, and the private room allowed us to have a fun and enjoyable time.

I used it for lunch. Despite it being lunchtime, you can experience a sense of luxury. Counter teppanyaki. The atmosphere is very nice. The menu includes teppanyaki and sukiyaki. I chose both. The teppanyaki skills were excellent, and everyone around seemed satisfied. The taste is very delicious. And it's a reasonably priced lunch that you can enjoy in an elegant atmosphere like a hotel teppanyaki. It's great. However, it's hard to get a seat without a reservation because it's usually fully booked. Highly recommended restaurant.

The elegant customer service and luxurious atmosphere, with a female staff member like a landlady cooking in a unique style! The steak and other menu items are interesting, and when honey was served with bread, I was skeptical if it would go well with the meal, but in the end, it was delicious and I finished it all. I was comforted by the very friendly staff who were great conversationalists.

The appetizers and meat were very delicious. The customers seemed to be on the younger side, with some foreigners present as well. However, the coffee after the meal was really not good. It seemed like it was brought from a nearby café, and it was so weak that when it was brought to the table, I thought it was cola or something.

I had the lunch course! There were many foreigners in the restaurant, but I was able to enjoy my meal in a private room. I had appetizers, soup, seafood, meat, and dessert, and I was full. Everything was delicious, and I felt luxurious even at lunchtime.

I recently come here to eat shabu-shabu. Located in Nakasu, it is popular for business entertainment and gatherings. If you want shabu-shabu in Fukuoka, this is the place to go. They also offer teppanyaki and sukiyaki, but I personally prefer shabu-shabu. They have lean meat and sirloin options, both of which are delicious. The staff will cook for you, and you can also add teppanyaki to your shabu-shabu course. The coffee and tea for dessert are brought from a nearby café and are very tasty. They even offer espresso. Located in the heart of Nakasu, there are plenty of entertainment options nearby. Highly recommended.

I used a private room for reception (ordered the 11,000 yen course). So, there are no photos of the food, but the Imari beef was tender and very delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and very clean. The staff were also nice. It's definitely a place with great customer service. Highly recommended. I had a great time!

Fukuoka City, Hakata-ku Nakasu, Imari beef lunch. The taste is stable, especially the marbled Imari beef is excellent. The course is a bit pricey, but for lunch you can enjoy a satisfying meal for 1000-1500 yen with good value for money. This time, I had the Imari beef lemon steak for 1500 yen, thinly sliced meat cooked medium rare and eaten with a refreshing lemon sauce. The service is polite and friendly, with a modern atmosphere that is charming and appealing. It's a wonderful restaurant.

In Fukuoka, there is a long-established teppanyaki and sukiyaki restaurant. This time, we tried the teppanyaki side. The cream cheese tofu appetizer was so elegant and sweet that it could pass as a dessert. Ah, it's already matsutake mushroom season! The matsutake mushroom steamed in a pot here has a strong earthy aroma that is very satisfying. The seafood dishes are also excellent, with the perfectly grilled squid being so tender and delicious. The shrimp comes with a basil sauce in addition to the usual salt and soy sauce. It's amazing! It adds a unique touch to the meal. The meat was truly exceptional, perfectly cooked and incredibly tender with a subtle sweetness. It's so good that you can't help but go for seconds of white rice... Even though I had already eaten Japanese white rice, I couldn't resist trying the garlic fried rice. It had a hint of fried rice flavor and was really good. Lastly, we had the meat sandwiched in bread toasted and drizzled with honey. The fat from the meat oozed out and it was delicious. Even though we were already full, we were served almond jelly for dessert. The service was exceptional, and we even got cafe lattes at the affiliated cafe next door. The food was of high quality and the portions were generous. Satisfied with the volume and high-quality meat at Kikuya restaurant.

The restaurant has a luxurious feel with a private counter where they grill the meat right in front of you. It's delicious! As I get older, I find that the ribeye can be tough, but the filet was tender and tasty with just the right amount of fat.

I used it for a reception. I had requested a private room, but on the day, they suggested the counter, so we ended up at the counter. It was fortunate that it was available. It's so luxurious to have the food cooked right in front of you. It's fun to watch, isn't it? I was so absorbed in watching that I almost forgot it was a reception (laughs). There were about four types of appetizers. Each one was carefully seasoned and delicious. I love the refreshing Kikuya salad as a palate cleanser! After that, we had more delicious dishes, and then the main course arrived!! The meat that day was sirloin and grilled abalone. The meat was tender, juicy, and delicious!!! (Ponzu, wasabi, soy sauce, and pepper are provided.) The abalone was grilled just right, not overcooked!! At Kikuya, they place the meat and vegetables on top of bread, then grill the bread after the flavors have soaked in. I personally like to eat it as is, without honey. We enjoyed every bit of the dessert at the end. It was a truly happy time. Thank you for the feast.

It's a sukiyaki dinner in Nakasu, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City. The atmosphere is elegant and suitable for entertaining guests. We had a private room this time, so we were able to enjoy our meal in a relaxed manner. At the counter, you can watch the teppanyaki dishes being cooked right in front of you, making it a highly entertaining restaurant. I think the course allowed us to compare and enjoy both Imari beef fillet and loin. The service was friendly and attentive, and the meat was delicious as expected from Kikuya.

I have visited this place several times. The interior is clean and the staff are polite and kind. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you see a large iron griddle. There are also private rooms available. The atmosphere is not awkward at all, you can enjoy your meal while chatting. They offer course menus as well as a la carte options. The ingredients cooked on the griddle are carefully placed on bread slices. The bread acts as a plate. The meat is Imari beef, tender and full of flavor. The seafood is fresh and delicious. I recommend the abalone for those who like it. The course meal will leave you satisfied, but the garlic fried rice at the end is so tasty that you won't be able to stop eating. After you finish, they grill the bread on the griddle until crispy, drizzle honey on top, and serve it as a palate cleanser. It's so delicious that you should try it fresh if you have room in your stomach, or you can take it home with you. They serve coffee from the nearby cafe KIKUYA after the meal, which is also delicious. The dessert changes with the seasons, so it's always a surprise. I highly recommend visiting this place.

I visited this restaurant for the first time for a business dinner with a company I am affiliated with. The place exuded a traditional and prestigious atmosphere from the moment I entered, which made me feel a bit intimidated. Moreover, on this day, we were seated in a private room adorned with hanging scrolls, adding to the grandeur of the place, which made me feel a bit shy. The staff member assigned to us took care of us, taking our drink orders and preparing them on the spot, as well as grilling the meat for us. The dishes were served in small portions, but each had a refined taste showcasing the skills of this long-established restaurant. The meal included: 5 kinds of appetizers such as roast beef and simmered octopus, miso-glazed konjac, oxtail soup in demi-glace style, grilled lobster and squid, grilled fillet and sirloin, garlic rice with red miso, and strawberry mousse for dessert. Since I may never have the chance to visit again, I made sure to savor each dish.

A long-established teppanyaki and sukiyaki restaurant located in Nakasu. They carefully select Imari beef by visiting the ranch, and they use A5 grade Imari beef from Matsuo Ranch. The roots of Imari beef are the same as Kobe beef, which is Tajima cattle. Raised on a vast ranch without stress, they grow to be 1.2-1.3 times larger than average cattle. The meat has a fine texture, is tender, and has a rich sweetness in the marbling. The counter seats have a modern design, while the private rooms have a traditional Japanese atmosphere with sunken kotatsu tables. The waitresses in traditional Japanese attire will cook the food for you, making it suitable for entertaining guests, engagement parties, or formal introductions. They offer a wide selection of wines, shochu, and local sake.

I came to Nakasu and found a nice-looking restaurant after a short walk from the canal. Since it's lunchtime, I decided to give it a try. Despite being in Minami-Shinchi, a place where women usually hesitate to approach, I thought it should be fine during lunch. When I entered, they asked if I had a reservation, so maybe it's not ideal to come without one? A group that came after me was turned away. Since I was alone, I managed to get in just in time. I was asked to wait for a while in the waiting area, and they informed me that they had a reservation for the next seating at 2 pm, so they needed the table back by then. I agreed, as it was still before 1 pm, and they seated me at the counter. The place exuded a sense of luxury with orchids and beautiful women from Nakasu accompanied by gentlemen in my imagination. But the lunch prices were reasonable. I ordered the Imari beef sukiyaki set. While waiting, more reserved guests started arriving, and the counter soon filled up. The sukiyaki set arrived, and although the menu picture showed raw meat, it was already mostly cooked. They mentioned that I could have seconds of rice. They lit the burner to keep it warm, and I dug in. It was delicious! The salad with scallops and miso soup were also tasty, and of course, the rice was great. Besides pickles, they also served mentaiko, which I think is a must for men to have seconds of. For dessert, I could choose between coffee or ice cream, and I opted for iced coffee to not overdo the calories. It was a refreshing and delicious coffee. The total cost, including tax, was 1500 yen, which I found reasonable considering the location, ambiance, and service. They also offer lunch on weekends, which is a plus. With so many tempting menu items like lemon steak, I plan to make a reservation and visit again. Thank you for the meal!

On my third visit, about two weeks after the last one, I used the points I received from the GOTO EAT campaign and my accumulated T-points to order the "Imari beef lemon steak" after enjoying the "Imari beef dice steak with wasabi sauce" and the "Imari beef beef cutlet". The steak was large and satisfying, and the sweet and savory sauce made it even more delicious. I ended up getting a second helping of rice because it was so good. This was only my second time trying lemon steak, but it was absolutely delicious! The salad with scallops was also tasty. I asked for the mentaiko to be removed from the pickles and they kindly added extra varieties, which was a nice surprise. The dessert ice cream not only tasted sweet and delicious, but it also helped cleanse my palate from the meat's richness. Overall, the staff provided exceptional hospitality as always.

Second visit. Visited in March. Last time, I used the points from "GOTO EAT" for the meal, but this time I visited without a reservation. I ordered the "Imari beef cutlet" (1,000 yen including tax). It was delicious even without the special miso sauce, but when I tried it with the sauce, it made the rice even more enjoyable. I'm not a big fan of beef cutlets, having only tried them a few times in the past. However, since I really enjoyed the Imari beef dice steak last time, I decided to give the beef cutlet a try, and it was a big hit! It was very delicious!! Thank you for the meal. As always, the hospitality of the staff was excellent.

I went with my spouse and one child. We requested a private room when making the reservation, and we were seated in a well-maintained private room. We enjoyed a pleasant lunch in the cozy atmosphere. The complimentary children's meal (rice, miso soup), and apple juice were a nice touch. Even a snack assortment for the child on our way out! The attentive service from the staff created a hospitable and enjoyable experience. As for the taste, we tried the famous "Lemon Steak" from Sasebo, a Fukuoka specialty, and my husband had the "Sukiyaki". The Wagyu beef was so tender and delicious that we ended up getting seconds of rice. Overall, it was a satisfying lunch in Nakasu with good value for money. It's a recommended spot for families with children, and we look forward to visiting again.

I used the points I received from "GOTO EAT" to visit a restaurant in February that I had always hesitated to go to because it seemed intimidating. With the T-points I had saved up, I finally made the decision to visit. I ordered the "Imari beef dice steak with wasabi sauce" (tax included 1,500 yen). The meat was delicious even without the sauce! When I tried the sauce with the vegetables, it was also delicious! The salad had scallops on top, which were also tasty! The hospitality of the staff was excellent.
