I used it for lunch. It is located in Lalaport Toyosu, and I have been curious about the main store in Nihonbashi for a long time, so this was my first time at this store. The tempura bowl was rich in ingredients and very delicious, and the side dishes were also very tasty. Additionally, you can also enjoy black soybean tea.

- What I ordered - - Draft beer - Edomae tendon When I tried to participate in the Toyosu Festival, it was too crowded, so I decided to quietly have a beer at the food court. I decided to go for a luxurious tendon here! The staff were very polite and took my order. They use a call bell system. The tendon had a crispy and fluffy texture, and the sauce soaked in well, making it delicious. Of course, it goes great with beer. I think it's great that you can easily enjoy it at the food court.

The anago (conger eel) had too thick of a batter for my liking, which was a bit disappointing considering the high reputation of this restaurant. I wish the batter on the anago was thinner, even if it didn't look as big. However, the shishito peppers, shrimp, egg, and kakiage (mixed tempura) were delicious. I ordered the Edomae Tendon (tempura rice bowl) but I think the vegetable tempura bowl (if they have it) might be the better choice. Just a heads up, this restaurant is located in the food court of Lalaport so be prepared for the chaos on weekends with lots of kids around.

I had a tempura rice bowl at the food court on the first floor of Lalaport Toyosu. The vegetable tempura rice bowl costs 1200 yen, but it not only includes vegetables but also 2 shrimp and squid. It also comes with shiitake mushrooms, green peppers, seaweed, eggplant, and a half-boiled egg. It's a great deal in terms of cost performance. I personally separated the half-boiled egg and tempura to eat them.

I visited on Sunday afternoon. Other food courts were crowded, and tables were full. I chose a delicious-looking tempura bowl! For 1320 yen, the quality was amazing with 2 prawns, eggplant, green pepper, shiitake mushrooms, half-cooked egg, and squid at this price. It's definitely tastier than going to a regular tempura restaurant. The pickled radish that came for free was a nice touch. Sprinkling some shichimi with sansho pepper on the tempura made it even better. I will definitely visit again.

Special vegetable tempura rice bowl, it's delicious but the sauce is quite strong which makes the rice go down easily. The tempura is dipped in plenty of sauce, coating the rice generously. In terms of ingredients, it's perfect. There are plenty of vegetables and two large shrimp tempura. It's not something you can easily eat at home, so I'll forgive that. Thank you for the meal.

This is a shop located in the food court of Lalaport Toyosu. I ordered the Vegetable Tempura Bowl for 1,200 yen (tax included). It includes eggplant, green pepper, shiitake mushrooms, egg, seaweed, squid, and 2 shrimp. Although it's called a vegetable tempura bowl, I was happy to see squid and shrimp on top. The shiitake mushrooms were quite large and satisfying to eat. The egg yolk was creamy, and I mixed it with the rice at the end. The sauce was sweet and richly flavored, very delicious. The rice was so good that I couldn't stop eating. It's great to be able to easily enjoy the taste of the main store in Nihonbashi at the food court.

Edomae Tendon - shrimp, eel, tempura, shishito pepper, seaweed The food court at Lalaport is packed on weekends, but it was relatively quiet on weekdays so we were able to order. The tempura was freshly fried and delicious. The portion was huge and we left feeling satisfied.

I don't want to eat the same food as children, so I had the Edomae Tendon at Hanosuke next to the egg. If you can get this level of tempura bowl at a food court, that's okay. Even the kids are nodding in approval. I haven't been to the main branch in Nihonbashi yet, but I doubt it's exactly the same.

I visited a popular restaurant at the Lalaport for lunch, as featured on the September 18, 2022 episode of "Sakagami & Sashihara's Unbreakable Store." Despite being established in November 2010, this restaurant aimed to exude a sense of tradition by opening a branch in Nihonbashi and naming it after the founder's legendary grandfather, who was a renowned chef. The prices were set higher to enhance the sense of tradition. I ordered the Edo-style Tempura Rice Bowl (1,500 yen) with a miso soup set (+120 yen). The fact that the miso soup was served separately was a bit disappointing. About 10 minutes later, my order was ready for pick-up. I was served pickles on a small plate and a packet of special seasoning, and I headed to an available counter seat. The bowl contained large anago (conger eel), squid and burdock tempura, 2 prawns, egg, seaweed, and shishito peppers. It looked impressive. I first tried the anago, which was thick and delicious. The volume when lifted off the bowl was exceptional. The prawns were small but had a decent firmness. The squid and burdock tempura were also tasty. The semi-softness of the egg was good, and I enjoyed half as is and the other half mixed with the rice. After eating about half of the anago, it was time for the special seasoning. I sprinkled the special blend of roasted chili peppers, sansho pepper, and sesame seeds on the anago and tried it. It added a great flavor enhancement. I finished the remaining tempura with rice and felt quite satisfied and full. I found the taste and portion size to be satisfying, making it a good value lunch experience.

This is a review of a lunch at the food court in Lalaport Toyosu. I visited a restaurant called Kaneko Hanzo at Kawasaki LaLaport a few years ago, and they also have a branch here. I ordered the Edo-style tempura rice bowl with miso soup (1620 yen). Although I was able to place my order quickly, I had to wait for about 20 minutes due to its popularity. The tempura rice bowl included large pieces of conger eel, 2 prawns, egg, squid and small fish tempura, seaweed, and shishito pepper. The last time I visited, the conger eel had a strong smell which was disappointing, but this time it tasted fine. However, the tempura batter was not crispy enough and lacked enough sauce, so the overall balance was not great. I wondered if this was typical of food court restaurants.

Lunch on October 24th was at Nihonbashi Tendon Kaneko Han'nosuke LaLaport Toyosu store on the 1st floor of Marina Kitchen 1F. I went a little before the peak time so I was able to order smoothly, but when returning the bowl, I was informed at the payment counter that there would be a 20-minute wait. It was also mentioned at the line that if the wait is long, it may take over an hour until payment. This indicates how popular the place is. I ordered the following: Edo-style Tempura Bowl for 1,500 yen. The impact of the huge conger eel overflowing from the bowl is impressive. Despite its size, the tempura is crispy and the eel is fluffy and delicious. It's nice that there are 2 shrimp tempura. The crispy seaweed tempura is also delicious. The tempura with squid and small fish has a chunky texture that is enjoyable. The soft and gooey egg, as well as the green pepper, were also tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed the rice in the bowl along with the freshly fried tempura.

My family is out, so I came to Lalaport Toyosu for dinner. When I want a quick meal nearby, I always come to Lalaport. Today, I ordered the Edomae Tendon for 1,500 yen at "Nihonbashi Tendon Kaneko Hanzo" in the food court. It's my first time eating Tendon here, although I visited the main store in Nihonbashi a while ago. The Tendon includes a large conger eel, 2 shrimp, tempura, egg, seaweed, and shishito peppers, and it packs a punch. The sweet Tendon sauce was delicious at first, but it started to feel heavy after a while... I prefer smaller conger eel pieces. The tempura was a bit too oily and heavy for my liking. I remember the store in Nihonbashi had lighter tempura. I was satisfied with just half of the tempura. Thank you for the meal!

I had this at the food court. It was quite crowded and you have to wait even after ordering, so it can be stressful to come here on weekends. The food was a bit greasy and oily, and not worth the wait in line. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe I'm just getting too old to eat tempura bowls, haha.

"Nihonbashi Tendon Kaneko Hannosuke Lalaport Toyosu Branch" used to have long lines in Nihonbashi, but now you can easily find it in the food court. While my daughter opted for kids' ramen from another shop, I was in the mood for a hearty tendon and headed straight here! [Menu] The menu offers only three tendon options. Despite it being a weekday, it took about 20 minutes for our orders to be ready. [Takeout Menu] Last time I did takeout, they mentioned that the half-cooked egg tempura wouldn't come with it due to hygiene reasons, so I decided to enjoy the freshly made tendon on the spot. - "Kaisen Joten Don (with Miso Soup Set) @1,300 yen (tax included)" The tendon was piled high with tempura that you couldn't see the rice! The tempura, fried in sesame oil, had a delicious aroma that was irresistible! The toppings included shrimp, squid, white fish, green pepper, eggplant, and a half-cooked egg tempura, all generously served! The freshly fried tempura had a crispy coating and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The sauce on the tendon was a refreshing sweet and savory flavor that made the rice disappear quickly! The half-cooked egg tempura that I couldn't enjoy during the takeout was a highlight. The runny yolk was incredibly delicious! After finishing the bowl, I felt pleasantly full. The name of the restaurant is so long, "Nihonbashi Tendon Kaneko Hanzo Lalaport Toyosu Branch". Last time, I mentioned that the name is too long! There is a menu that I really like at this restaurant. I ordered it last time, and I ordered it again this time! Seafood Tempura Rice Bowl (including tax 1180 yen), please! While waiting for about 20 minutes, I bought other family members' meals at different shops. When the buzzer called us, the dish was indeed luxurious. It includes white fish, 2 shrimp, squid, eggplant, egg, seaweed, and green pepper. What a luxury! The rice is also packed nicely. This is going to be high in calories. However, the rice soaked in the sauce is delicious. The tempura is crispy. The seafood tempura is also delicious. The sauce is just right and soaks in well, which is great! But what I really like is the egg tempura. It's soft and half-cooked. Overall, for 1180 yen, I think it's worth it. Afterword: It's just a food court, but it's more than just a food court. This restaurant is a solid place with real skills, not just any food court restaurant. Anyway, this casual atmosphere is nice. I don't know if Kinoshita Hanzo actually existed or if it's just a fictional branding. The main store in Nihonbashi always has a long line, but it's quite delicious, maybe due to the waiting effect. I'm not sure if it's a branch or a franchise, but for some reason, it's popping up a lot in outlets and shopping mall food courts. It's not exceptionally tasty, but if you ignore the price, it's decent. In a situation like eating in a food court, I would choose it over other franchise stores around.

It also has eggplant and green pepper, which are classic tempura ingredients. The taste isn't too heavy or salty, it's just right. The tempura is crispy but not overly so, it's just perfect.

It is located in the food court of Lalaport Toyosu. The food court gets crowded during lunchtime. It takes quite some time after ordering, usually more than 20 minutes. The prices are not cheap in the food court, but it is popular. The tempura is delicious. I recommend it.
