I bought some bread at Honey and then peeked into the neighboring Caldi. I've been searching for Duytan Macadamia Nut Spread everywhere but it's always sold out. But wait, they have it here! And it's the last one. I grabbed it and secured it! Oh, Pocky Mao cup noodles. I've been curious about these too (put it in the basket). Coconut chips! What, these are snacks for cats' paws! (Of course, put it in the basket). There are still many things I want, but since I hardly cook at home, I'll end it here. I also picked up the watermelon duck wafers by the register. The total came to 1331 yen, which is an acceptable price. Duck wafers are not my favorite, but I couldn't resist the watermelon cream inside the green dough, it looks so much like a watermelon and it's fun. The coconut chips are delicious, coconut lovers should definitely buy them! For those who are just okay with coconut, you can sprinkle them on ice cream and enjoy. The problem is, once you start eating them, it's hard to stop. I might end up buying more! Macadamia nuts are just that, macadamia nuts! They've been so popular and I couldn't find them anywhere, but luckily I found the last one here! I had to buy it! It's not sweet, so if I can't finish it, I might mix it with spinach or something. Oh, those coconut chips were really delicious.

When I go to Kaldi, I always buy a snack. It's the salted butter kamman! It's cheese flavored, not too sweet, and very delicious. They also sell it at OK. I always end up buying various things at Kaldi, like seasonings and Thai noodles, without realizing it. It's a dangerous store because there are so many attractive items! The Shimokitazawa store is conveniently located near the station, so it's easy to visit. If you haven't tried the salted butter kamman yet, please give it a try. Thank you for the meal.

I have used this store a few times as it is conveniently located near Shimokitazawa station. This time, I visited this store as I had some business in Shimokitazawa on the day of the product release. I found some products on their website that they were going to release on February 22nd, which is "Cat Day." The items I received were as follows:
- Nyanko Coffee Set 1080 yen
- Plate Udon 138 yen
- Pink Pepper 270 yen
The Nyanko Coffee Set seems to be a prelude to "Cat Day." It includes Nyanko Coffee, 2 madeleines, and a drawstring bag. I was hesitant about the Nyanko Coffee as it seemed to have a strong acidity based on the website, but I bought it for the drawstring bag. When freshly brewed, the coffee didn't have as much acidity as I expected. The madeleines were a bit moist. The drawstring bag I was looking for turned out to be a large size, so it seems versatile for various uses. What should I put in it~
The plate udon was surprisingly easy to make. It's amazing how convenient some products are~
Pink Pepper is a magical spice that can be used for salads or even a few grains on cheese for a stylish presentation. It's very handy. In the wine section, I found wines from "Camel Farm," the winery of Kalita Coffee Farm. I didn't know they had their own winery. Kalita is indeed fun.

I visited the restaurant because I happened to stop by. I found a promising item for tonight's snack, so I decided to try it out. The visit was around 1 pm on December 3rd, and there were about 15 other customers. I picked up some Soy Chip Snacks (Tomato & Herb) because they seemed like a good choice for my snack. The Soy Chip Snacks are made from soybean and potato flour, giving them a crispy and slightly light texture, similar to a thin soft rice cracker. The taste of soybean and sweetness, as well as the taste of potato and sweetness, were not very noticeable. The sweetness of the tomato was minimal, with a strong sour taste but lacking in tomato flavor. The aroma and flavor of the herb had already dissipated, making all the ingredients taste weak. There was no greasiness, and the saltiness was somewhat mild, giving a delicate impression for a chip snack. "Caldeco Hea Farm", thank you for the meal.

KALDI Coffee Farm Shimokitazawa Kitaguchi Store. I used to live nearby and would often go shopping here on weekends. It's located in the Piazza Omiya Building 1F, just a short walk from Shimokitazawa Station North Exit on the Odakyu Line/Keio Inokashira Line towards Peacock and Uniqlo. I always end up going in even though I didn't plan to. This time, I ended up buying a lot of green products by chance, maybe because there were many matcha products. The Matcha Kinako Twist by Hemohoji was quite sweet. Wilkinson is a classic dry ginger ale that goes well with meals. I wanted to drink yuzu tea, so I got the delicious Yuzu Tea Darjeeling Tea Marshmallow. The Uji Matcha Jelly is a very popular item, so I bought it in bulk. Another day of buying delicious things little by little at KALDI. Thank you for everything.

Caldi at the north entrance of Shimokitazawa. When it first opened, it seemed more relaxed and calm compared to the Caldi at the south entrance. Now, since the south entrance store has closed down, this one is the only one left. Like other Caldi stores, it's nice to sip on their sweet mild coffee while enjoying the view inside the store. I often buy various French and Italian biscuits, cakes, and bonbons here. The seasonal specials are also enjoyable. It's my favorite imported food store.

When you go down the stairs at Shimokitazawa North Exit, you will see a building with Peacock and Uniqlo. If you walk straight ahead with the building in front of you on your right, you will find a store right away where you can hear someone shouting "Coffee~!!" from the storefront. Whether you visit either store of Kaldis, the atmosphere is the same, so it feels reassuring. Even if you go for a specific item, you end up buying something else as well. With samples and new discoveries, it's easy to get curious and want to take a look. The store at the South Exit feels larger and has a wider selection, but the one at the North Exit is compact and convenient when you want to quickly buy what you need. You may come across unique frozen food items at the South Exit that you won't find in other stores. By using both the North and South exits wisely, it can be really enjoyable and convenient.

When I tried the curry paste that was selling like crazy at the bakery, I was really satisfied with how delicious it was. I bought 3 or 4 of them, but they were often sold out, which was a downside. I wonder if it's calmed down now. When I went to kill time at the store, I was surprised to see a melon bread version available! I had to buy it right away. The price was the same as the curry paste. You can only buy up to 2 per person. The baking method is the same. Just spread it on the bread and bake it. My impression is that the curry paste was tastier and more authentic than the melon bread. It seems like the second version is a bit lacking. Thank you for the meal.

Hello, I'm Chi, a reviewer of various things. Odakyu Line goes underground, and you can see a new side of Shimokitazawa that you didn't know before. I had some time before going to the promised restaurant, so I decided to take a walk. I saw cup udon at a local Caldi store, and it was also prominently displayed here. It must be fate, so I bought it. It's made by "Moheji" from Setagaya, maybe related to Caldi? The manufacturer is "Sanpo Food." This is definitely it. "Hakata-style burdock tempura udon" had my favorite udon soup flavor. It came with kabosu citrus juice, but I didn't need to add it. The burdock tempura was on the lighter side, but it was a delicious bowl. It was a bit pricey though.

At Caldi stores, they usually offer Mild Caldi coffee for tasting when you enter. Mild Caldi is a coffee that is easy to drink, but also has a rich flavor. They also sell home instant coffee in drip packs, which I tried. The drip pack version of Mild Caldi is quite good compared to regular drip packs. It has a refreshing aftertaste and even when drunk black, it has a hint of sweetness making it easy to drink. The convenience is a plus.
