This is a local supermarket from Izu located on the 3rd floor of Lalaport Toyosu. They used to have a store in Yokohama as well, but now it seems like this is the only store left in the Tokyo area. The store in front of Ito Port has a rich selection of fresh Izu local fish. I heard that they have fresh Kinmedai, Hirame, and Honmaguro, so I went there to see if I could buy the same in Tokyo. The store has the same illustrated signboards of women and a self-playing piano, but understandably, the variety of Izu local fish is not as abundant. However, among the fish from all over Japan, there was a rare fish called "Mameji," which is a juvenile Honmaguro. It's currently the fishing season in Ito, and this fish is said to be rare even in regular supermarkets in Ito. A friend from Kansai had told me about its deliciousness for a long time, so I saw the actual fish for the first time this time. So, I bought a pack of sashimi-grade slices for 680 yen excluding tax. The first time trying "Mameji," the color of the red flesh was slightly lighter. The taste was light and the texture was soft. It felt like it would grow into a proper tuna, but the taste was somewhat like that of an adult tuna. Some people say they prefer this over the adult fish, but I wonder? It's delicious in its own way, but personally, I might still prefer the adult tuna. Besides Izu fresh fish and vegetables, the selection here is quite interesting. They have items that you wouldn't find in the usual stores like OK, Tokyu Store, National Azabu, or Shinanoya, so I would like to visit again. Addition) The Izu wasabi miso that I bought along with the juvenile Honmaguro "Mameji" is also delicious. The base miso itself is tasty, and the refreshing flavor of wasabi makes the rice go down easily. I tried spreading it on onigiri and grilling it at "Amiyaki Taisho," and it turned out to be a great choice. The slightly burnt miso tasted delicious. I finished it in just three days, so I want to go back to Toyosu to buy it again.

Hello, I'm Chi, a reviewer of various things. The area of Toyosu, an unknown seaside area. It has a long history, with the debris from the Great Kanto Earthquake buried here, but it used to be an island of factories and power plants, just like the commotion at the Toyosu Market. It's a new city as a result. It might not be the image that people living to the west of Tokyo have. Even Odaiba was known as "Block 13" and was once a garbage island that elementary school students visited on field trips. The city with its rows of tall buildings gives a dry impression, but there's a corner with old-fashioned shops that brings a sense of relief. Maybe it's because I'm from the Showa era. And the supermarket that supports this dining table is here. The number of people is amazing, and the selection leans towards high-end supermarkets, fitting for a classy neighborhood. I made a list of things I wanted to buy, and I might find them here. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to leisurely explore the store as my schedule was packed. So I grabbed a drink to accompany me on my walk to the venue. I've been seeing Rooibos tea everywhere lately. It's easy to drink once you get used to it, and I believe the rumors that it's effective for hay fever. Now, let's walk for 15 minutes.

Craft cola from a source company. You mix the concentrate with soda to drink. It tastes like sauce, maybe adding lemon or lime would make it even better. Aoki sells rare imported snacks and has a unique selection. It can take about 2 hours to look at everything.

<About the Store>Supermarket "Supermarket Food Store Aoki" opened in June 2019. The main store is located in Kawazu-cho, Kamo-gun, Shizuoka Prefecture, and this store is the first and only store in Tokyo at the moment. It is located on the 1st floor of Urban Dock Lalaport Toyosu, with separate entrance and exit in a one-way style. - Parking available - No seating arrangement - Discounts available for items near expiration or best before date <Products> ■Plenty Dorayaki...218 yen including tax - Diameter: about 7.5cm - Height: about 5cm - Weight: about 156g - Ingredients: Tsubushi-an (azuki beans, granulated sugar, maltose, others), dough (flour, eggs, sugar, others) / baking soda, leavening agent, (contains wheat and eggs in some parts) - Calories: 344kcal/100g (547kcal/piece) Dorayaki filled with plenty of red bean paste. This is said to be made at the Shizuoka store. The diameter is normal or slightly small, but it is quite thick with a lot of paste, so the top and bottom of the skin are not closed, and the paste is clearly visible from the outside. The red bean paste is glossy and moderately sweet, so even though it is packed with a lot of it, it does not feel heavy. However, be careful as one piece is over 500kcal, making it high in calories. While there are similar looking dorayaki at other stores, they usually only look good but lack in taste. This dorayaki not only has a visual impact but also tastes great. ■Madeleine...98 yen including tax - Diameter: about 7.5cm at the bottom to about 10cm at the top - Thickness: about 2.7cm - Weight: about 55g - Ingredients: Sugar, eggs, flour, shortening, butter, flour, skim milk powder, rum / flavoring, leavening agent, (contains wheat, eggs, milk components in some parts) - Calories: 431kcal/100g (237kcal/piece) Madeleine made at the Shizuoka store. It comes in a classic package with the Eiffel Tower depicted, sold at an old-fashioned confectionery store. It is priced at less than 100 yen per piece and comes in a thick, flower-shaped aluminum cup. A fluffy, eggy flavored madeleine. Despite mainly using shortening, it also uses butter, giving it a subtle buttery aroma. It may not have the impact of the "Plenty Dorayaki," but at this price, it is a great madeleine.

The katsudon here is incredibly delicious. The nori bento is also reasonably priced. The hitsumabushi features delicious tempura, pork cutlet, liver, pickled cucumber, octopus vinegar, miso-marinated mackerel, simmered hijiki seaweed, grilled eel roll, mixed vegetables, simmered pumpkin, ham cutlet, grilled fish, and more.

Morimoto / Rich Rare Cheese A rich yet refreshing rare cheese. Haskap jam is the accent. ☑️ 405 kcal ☑️ Food Store Aoki Tiramisu and rich rare cheese are being sold, and I thought about just getting the tiramisu, but since I was there, I decided to buy both ✨ The structure has more sponge cake than expected... The dryness wasn't too bothersome, but for someone like me who doesn't like cake, it was quite a drawback. The taste is slightly sweet, like steamed bread. I ate it together with the Haskap jam on the base, which added a sourness that helped balance it out. The rare cheese mousse is surprisingly bouncy and firm, like pudding... It's slightly rare cheese-flavored, not too strong on the cheese, so if you're craving cheese, you might not be fully satisfied. It's not exactly cheese, but if you were to call it rare cheese, that would be accurate. And let me tell you, the top cream is divine, rich and velvety without any unnecessary greasiness, and with a solid cheese flavor. Unlike the rare cheese mousse, it's dense yet light, and honestly, just the cream alone would have been enough 😂

On my day off, I went to Lalaport Toyosu. While looking for dinner side dishes here, I found a lot of delicious looking fried foods. They even have dumplings. Well, it's a supermarket so I guess they would have them, but they look really tasty. I bought the following: - Ham katsu (180 yen) - Horse mackerel fry (165 yen) - Menchi katsu (115 yen) - Pork fillet katsu (140 yen) - Pork cutlet (330 yen) - Chicken cutlet (220 yen) - Potato croquette (115 yen) - 12 plum and shiso gyoza (575 yen) - 18 grilled gyoza (889 yen) They were all delicious! Among supermarket options, I think this place is towards the top. I might end up coming here often.

I visited a supermarket called "Aoki" on the first floor of the Annex Building at Lalaport Toyosu for the first time. They had a lot of local famous sweets for sale, which was enjoyable. I was intrigued by Aoki's original Japanese sweets, so I decided to purchase their "Amakara Dango" (5 pieces) for 213 yen including tax. It is a luxurious dango with a generous amount of sweet soy sauce on top of a red bean paste-filled, large dango. If you can't decide between anko dango and mitarashi dango, this is a great choice. The dango was very soft, and I was surprised to find that it remained soft even when eaten the next day. The red bean paste was also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This is a supermarket located inside Lalaport Toyosu. I have visited many times before, but this is my first time making a purchase. Whenever I come to Lalaport, I always stop by here first due to its convenient location, and then I end up not coming back later due to carrying other items (lol). This is also the first time I have taken a close look at the store. Since it is a supermarket, there is a wide variety of products, including a wide selection of alcohol. Of course, there is also the delicious J-CRAFT series, and I purchased the Yellow Cherry Blossom Ruby Ale and Nagisa Beer IPA. For snacks, I got Millet-chan's biscuits!

I apologize for my lack of knowledge. In my area, there is a supermarket called "AOKI" in Toyosu, which seems to have a lot of food products from the Shizuoka area. One of my favorites is the silky deep-fried tofu from "Wakakiya." Their tofu products are all delicious, but this one in particular I keep buying over and over again because I can't find it elsewhere. The vegetables, fish, meat, and other products they offer are all delicious and they seem to have a variety of tasty items from all over the country. As others have mentioned, the prices may be a bit higher, but I still want to buy them because the quality is worth it. Located next to Lalaport, they have a large and well-equipped parking lot. It can get crowded on weekends, so I try to avoid going then, but on weekdays, it's truly a unique supermarket, especially when it comes to their deli items. I find it very convenient and I look forward to their continued efforts in bringing joy and deliciousness to local households. Thank you.

There is a supermarket inside Lalaport Toyosu. The deli section is located a little further inside after entering the store. There were various products displayed, and they looked delicious, but the prices seemed slightly higher compared to regular supermarkets. The fried squid (115 yen + tax) was quite large, with a crispy coating. It was pre-made and served cold, but the crispy texture of the coating remained. The squid was tender and easy to bite into. I thought it could have had a bit more texture, but it was best enjoyed warm with a sprinkle of salt.

The high-class supermarket at Lalaport Toyosu!! I used to see it often when I went on drives to Izu in the past. It was normal in Izu, but maybe they made it like this after expanding to Tokyo and entering Lalaport!? I watched a movie at Lalaport and it's already past 9 PM. I wandered around looking for tonight's sake snack, and most of the deli section was already gone. I purchased the most luxurious sashimi and California roll at the fish section with a 40% discount. The tuna, medium fatty tuna, yellowtail, and horse mackerel were quite luxurious. The pieces were large and had a satisfying texture. The California roll had a different color avocado due to the time passed, but it was delicious. It turned out to be a pretty luxurious snack!!

On a certain weekday evening in May 2016, after finishing work and heading home, I decided to make a little detour. I ended up at Lalaport Toyosu, a shopping mall that is less than 5km away from my home but doesn't have direct transportation. The mall is quite uninteresting, with mostly chain restaurants and not much to offer. However, being a food blogger, I always keep an eye out for interesting food finds. So, I visited the AOKI supermarket located within Lalaport Toyosu. The bakery corner at the supermarket caught my attention with its "Boulangerie aoki" sign. I found a hidden gem there - the "tappuri dorayaki" which is about 5cm tall. It's not a product from another brand but made in-house by AOKI. The package warns to eat it slowly as it's quite large and might make your jaw drop. I bought it and brought it home. The dorayaki weighed 163g, which is about the equivalent of two regular dorayaki. It had a unique round shape with a solid red bean paste filling sandwiched between the pancake-like skin. The skin was slightly dry, probably due to its shape, and the red bean paste was smooth with very few visible red bean grains. While it lacked the handmade touch, it was still an interesting find at a supermarket. Overall, the "tappuri dorayaki" was a unique and enjoyable treat, worth trying despite its mass-produced nature.

I decided to buy some Tokyo-style souvenirs since I came all the way to Tokyo, so I asked the lady at Lalaport Toyosu if they had any sweets that would last a few days. She kindly directed me to the supermarket next door, Food Store Aoki, where I found some affordable office souvenirs. I bought some Marble Cookies for 200 yen each. They were big cookies that tasted great with tea or coffee, with a delicious buttery aroma and sweet chocolate swirls. Overall, they were delicious, but I might get tired of them if I ate them for three days straight. When I got home and was dividing them up for souvenirs, I noticed the label said the store was located in Kozu, Kawazu-cho, Kamo-gun, Shizuoka Prefecture. I quickly realized I had bought souvenirs from a supermarket in Shizuoka, not Tokyo. Lesson learned: always check the label when buying souvenirs.

When I go to Shimoda, I often use the food store Aoki-san. The Lalaport Toyosu store opened in October 2006, and since then I have been able to use it here as well. Now there is also one in Yokohama. Menu: Sanma sushi for 435 yen. The size is about 20cm, with pickled ginger sandwiched between sanma and rice. There are also meagre sent directly from Shimoda Port, but my purpose is always "sanma sushi". I always call ahead to check availability before heading there. The parking lot offers the first hour free, and with 2200 spaces, it is a very convenient facility to use.
