■Plenty Dorayaki...218 yen including tax
- Diameter: about 7.5cm
- Height: about 5cm
- Weight: about 156g
- Ingredients: Tsubushi-an (azuki beans, granulated sugar, maltose, others), dough (flour, eggs, sugar, others) / baking soda, leavening agent, (contains wheat and eggs in some parts)
- Calories: 344kcal/100g (547kcal/piece)
Dorayaki filled with plenty of red bean paste. This is said to be made at the Shizuoka store. The diameter is normal or slightly small, but it is quite thick with a lot of paste, so the top and bottom of the skin are not closed, and the paste is clearly visible from the outside. The red bean paste is glossy and moderately sweet, so even though it is packed with a lot of it, it does not feel heavy. However, be careful as one piece is over 500kcal, making it high in calories. While there are similar looking dorayaki at other stores, they usually only look good but lack in taste. This dorayaki not only has a visual impact but also tastes great.
■Madeleine...98 yen including tax
- Diameter: about 7.5cm at the bottom to about 10cm at the top
- Thickness: about 2.7cm
- Weight: about 55g
- Ingredients: Sugar, eggs, flour, shortening, butter, flour, skim milk powder, rum / flavoring, leavening agent, (contains wheat, eggs, milk components in some parts)
- Calories: 431kcal/100g (237kcal/piece)
Madeleine made at the Shizuoka store. It comes in a classic package with the Eiffel Tower depicted, sold at an old-fashioned confectionery store. It is priced at less than 100 yen per piece and comes in a thick, flower-shaped aluminum cup. A fluffy, eggy flavored madeleine. Despite mainly using shortening, it also uses butter, giving it a subtle buttery aroma. It may not have the impact of the "Plenty Dorayaki," but at this price, it is a great madeleine.
