This day, I had a sashimi drink with my friend's wife, with my friend's approval. By the way, while we were enjoying our meal, he was busy with his hobby event. (Congratulations on the victory!) It's been a while since I've been to Tsukishima. As you walk straight down the Monja Street, the aroma of sauce wafts from various places, and in between monjayaki shops, there is a dining building. Take the elevator down to the 5th floor, and you'll find a chic restaurant. It's a nice place that can be used for dates as well.
◇ 6,000 yen course with all-you-can-drink ◇
We had this course this time. Depending on how crowded it is, it's quietly appreciated when the staff cook for you.
◆ Black Wagyu beef sushi
◆ Raw sea urchin wrapped in meat
We started with raw meat. These two dishes are served on one plate. The sushi has a good balance of rich flavor and vinegary rice, melting in your mouth. The sea urchin with caviar topping is also excellent. They handle high-quality Wagyu beef approved by the Chuo Ward Health Center, and both were truly delicious.
◆ Assorted kimchi
◆ Bulls salad
Kimchi with just the right amount of spiciness and a fresh vegetable salad serve as a nice palate cleanser.
◆ Assorted beef tongue 4 types - Tongue salt - Upper tongue salt - Special miso tongue - Wasabi grilled beef tongue
Next is the grilled meat. We started with beef tongue, a variety of 4 types. I first tried the upper tongue salt, which was tender and juicy. The tongue salt was topped with plenty of green onions, a classic delicious combination. The miso tongue had a rich miso flavor that worked well. The wasabi grilled tongue, I thought the spiciness of the wasabi would diminish once cooked, but it remained, so be careful. But I don't dislike this combination, it's delicious.
◆ Grilled suki kalbi (with raw egg)
Thinly sliced kalbi seared and dipped in beaten raw egg. A delicious classic. It was fresh, not too fatty, and delicious in one bite. Ah, happiness.
◆ Black Wagyu kalbi
◆ Upper harami
◆ Tsurami
◆ Black Wagyu lean meat 2 types (Uchimomo, Ichibo)
These 5 types of cuts are served in a staircase-like manner. They all look beautiful and taste delicious. Those who like fatty meat will love the kalbi and ichibo, while those who like lean meat will naturally enjoy the uchimomo. Personally, I've been liking harami more recently, and I love the harami here, it's tender and delicious. Tsurami has a firm texture, but the meat quality is solid, and the taste is rich. You can enjoy these different cuts with 3 types of sauce: lemon, soy sauce, and onion sauce. Personally, I liked eating it with the accompanying salt or onion, which is refreshing while enhancing the flavor of the meat. It's fun to taste the differences in flavor by eating various cuts like this.
◆ Beef tongue curry / Bulls cold noodles
For the finale, I had the beef tongue curry, and my friend's wife had the cold noodles. The beef tongue was so tender that it easily fell apart with a spoon, and when combined with the slightly spicy curry roux, you end up eating a lot of rice.
◆ Today's dessert (almond tofu)
It was almond tofu of my favorite type. Delicious. Everything from start to finish was delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed the time. Tsukishima is not just about monjayaki. It's a sister store of the popular BULLS in Azabu Juban. I was able to enjoy high-quality Wagyu beef with a focus on fresh raw meat and brand-name lean beef at a reasonable price. It's a great idea to have monjayaki as a snack and then have dinner here for grilled meat. I would love to go back to eat again.
