A long-established sukiyaki restaurant that has been a regular recipient of Michelin stars since 1912! This ultra-long-established sukiyaki restaurant has been awarded one Michelin star for 10 consecutive years since 2011. Nisama is a company that was founded in the retail and wholesale meat business, as well as the sukiyaki restaurant business. They also supply meat to high-end yakiniku restaurants and are considered top-notch meat wholesalers. They have 9 directly operated meat shops, 1 directly operated sukiyaki restaurant, and 1 directly operated WAGYU Nisama. Sukiyaki restaurant Nisama opened in 1912, while WAGYU Nisama, a teppanyaki restaurant, opened on June 20, 2020. The restaurant is located by turning left at the Amazake Yokocho intersection and walking about 80 meters along Ningyocho Street on the right-hand side. The nearest station is Ningyocho Station, just a 1-minute walk away. The restaurant has 80 seats (all private rooms with tatami and table seating). The atmosphere of the traditional Japanese-style house exudes a sense of history. We ordered the chef's special course. I wanted to eat delicious sukiyaki, so I made a reservation and visited on Saturday night. I ordered the premium sukiyaki course. The main sukiyaki with high-quality meat was delicious. The simmered beef tongue that came out before that was also tasty. I wish the price was a little more affordable so I could visit occasionally.

Everyone, I was expecting a sukiyaki hot pot, but surprisingly it was a sukiyaki where everything is grilled. Unlike the sukiyaki you make at home, it was delicate and delicious, with the meat and even the onions tasting great. We had the premium option. The appetizers were also delicious, and the tea-soaked rice at the end was refreshing. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I have only been to proper sukiyaki restaurants like this one and the now-closed Echikatsu in Yushima, but the sukiyaki here is delicious. While Echikatsu felt more like a stew, this place grills the meat. It's sukiyaki, not beef hot pot. The portion is satisfying as well.

Visited for a business-related entertainment. A famous meat restaurant - the meat was absolutely beautiful. Two types of loin cuts, with one being slightly leaner and the other having more marbling... maybe sirloin and chuck. The waitresses cooked and served the meat, allowing us to enjoy the meal and conversation without any distractions. If you want to enjoy delicious sukiyaki alone, there may be cost-effective options, but for a special occasion that requires a certain level of sophistication and interaction, this place is perfect. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I have always loved this restaurant. I think the sukiyaki here is ultimately the best. In Japan, the service at the Imperial Hotel is simply unmatched. The service, courses, and atmosphere are all top-notch. Even guests from overseas who don't usually eat much beef were surprised and enjoyed the regular amount of courses. Delicious food transcends races and is universally enjoyed. Thank you always.

I enjoyed the exquisite Yonezawa beef, with sirloin and rib roast cooked in sukiyaki style. Each slice of meat was carefully prepared, thick and delicious. The combination of egg and sauce was perfect, and the high-quality oil made the meal light and enjoyable. I couldn't resist ordering more of the delicious meat. Unlike yakiniku, the sukiyaki had a rich and savory flavor that was also fantastic. The finale of egg over rice was irresistible. This restaurant, Sukiyaki Kappo Nichiyama, has been serving its signature dish since its establishment in the Taisho era. The perfect match of premium beef with Edo green onions and locally sourced grilled tofu from Ningyocho. The traditional taste of Nichiyama, established in the first year of the Taisho era, continues to be loved in a luxurious private room setting. I brought a friend from overseas. It's been about 10 years since my last visit. The service, ambiance, and courses were as amazing as ever, even exceeding expectations. The meat was simply delicious. To be able to think "this is just delicious" is something very difficult to achieve. It is truly a restaurant with a dignified and wonderful atmosphere.

It's a traditional Japanese-style room with tables and chairs, so you don't need to sit on the floor. You need to climb stairs to get to the restaurant, and the building has an old and established feel to it. The staff cook and serve the sukiyaki for you, which is very enjoyable. The food is delicious from the appetizers, and the sukiyaki in particular is tasty. The meat is fatty but not tough, with a sweet flavor that is delicious. I asked for the meat to be cut in half, which made it easier to eat. The rice goes well with the meal. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

The restaurant is located close to the station, facing the street, making it very easy to find. It has a charming design. The meat dishes exceeded expectations, with large and delicious cuts of meat. The combination of meat and dipping sauce was excellent. I was surprised to find seasonal vegetables in the ingredients, making it possible to enjoy sukiyaki as well. The staff provided excellent service, being polite and engaging in conversation, making it a fun and enjoyable experience.

I used this place a few years ago and this is my second visit. We were seated in a calm private room for two. This time we had the sukiyaki course. They also have a good selection of drinks, making it a great choice for special occasions. Since reservations can be hard to come by, I recommend booking early.

Located in Ningyocho, the long-established restaurant Nisama! The customer service was fantastic and I was extremely satisfied! This time, I enjoyed the best quality meat in a shabu-shabu course. The roast beef appetizer was a masterpiece, with a sweet taste of the meat when chewed. The crystal-cooked green peas were elegantly seasoned. The main shabu-shabu dish, all prepared by the waitress, was luxurious. Everything was simply delicious. The lotus root in the pot was a first for me and its crunchy texture was irresistible! Truly, you can't go wrong with a long-established restaurant. Thank you for the happiest moment! We all left the restaurant planning to come back next time for sukiyaki! This is a room with a completely private atmosphere that feels like a traditional Japanese restaurant. I ordered the lamp steak course. The vegetables were very fresh. The main meat portion was 150g, but the taste was so good that I was truly satisfied. The sauce had a salty flavor, and when I tried it with the mustard-flavored one, it created a different sensation that was truly impressive. Next time, I want to try the oil course.

Continuing from last year, we had a secret New Year's party at Ningyocho Hiyama. Mr. Nakai provided us with a feast. The appetizers, side dishes, and sashimi were all top-notch. The sukiyaki was also cooked in the room and served in two portions. Would you like to add anything else? We finished the meal with TKG using the leftover sukiyaki egg and rice. It was a very enjoyable and delicious New Year's party. Looking forward to another great year.

A long-established sukiyaki restaurant in Ningyocho. It's great that you can eat in private rooms with your group. We reserved a course for around 12,000 yen. The staff takes care of everything. It's nice to just focus on eating, especially during the pandemic. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.

I would love to visit Nisshin Ningyocho Honten at least once. I visited for lunch. The interior of the restaurant, appropriate for being the headquarters of sukiyaki, exudes a sense of history and Japanese aesthetics. The private rooms are so lovely, a space that I, who loves Japanese art, covet. Among the famous restaurants, this one stands out with its unique atmosphere. The sukiyaki is made by the proprietress, so it's a complete omakase style. The vegetables and meats, including rib loin, shoulder loin, sirloin, red dashi, rice, and pickles, are of extremely high quality, as expected from a butcher. Even the fatty meat doesn't feel heavy on the stomach. Eating the exquisitely cooked meat with egg is such a blissful experience that I even felt a sense of guilt. I felt like I was in heaven in the middle of the day. This place is especially appreciated for dining with older individuals.

During the pandemic, the voices of the people next door enjoying themselves were a little distracting because we had the partition open, but all the dishes were delicious, we could relax in a private room, and the attentive care of the staff in each room was great. I attended the Matsutake Mushroom Festival as a guest of the Japanese sake instructor Kazuyo Ookubo. This time, Matsutake mushrooms were generously used and paired with Japanese sake! The pairing with wagyu beef was exquisite and it was a luxurious evening! I hope they will hold it again next year!
