No.1 soba chain restaurant Yudetaro. I have been there over 100 times in total because it's close to my workplace and home. With coupons, you can get free tempura or extra noodles, which is great. The morning menu until 11 am is quite a deal. Today, I had the nori bento set, and it tasted very similar to Hokka Hokka Tei, which is not surprising since it was originally from there.

I was surprised to see Bananaman's Himura-san filming at this restaurant on TV. Whether people knew it was him or not, the seats near where he was sitting were filled. The zaru soba here is delicious and has a stable taste. Thank you for the meal.

Recently, a friend and I were talking about wanting to try having ramen for breakfast, so we decided to give it a try at Yudetarou. The "moritsuke" ramen we had was made with Chinese noodles and soba soup, a combination known as "zaru chuka." Personally, I really like this combination. It was incredibly delicious and perfect for breakfast. Thank you for the meal.

At the end of spring, I tried the seasonal menu "Spicy Fried Dumpling Soba" at a restaurant I frequently visit. It had been about 2 years since my last visit, and I noticed that the interior had been renovated, with the large round table in the center replaced by counter seats. As the seasonal menu is about to change, the spring soba options include not only the Spicy Fried Dumpling Soba that I had, but also options like Crab Stick Tempura Soba and Pork and Kimchi Bowl Set, all of which looked delicious and made it hard to choose. The Spicy Fried Dumpling Soba I had consisted of 3 fried dumplings, 2 green bean tempura, plenty of white leeks, and spicy soba noodles drizzled with chili oil. I think making the dumplings a bit crispier would be even better, but the dish was undeniably impactful and addictive. The combination of dumplings on soba noodles was quite innovative, unique to this restaurant. I finished it in no time, it was so delicious! Looking forward to trying more new menu items. The spring soba was absolutely delicious, thank you for the meal!

This time I had to work during lunchtime again, so I had lunch during a break. I had decided to try something different this time, but ended up ordering the same thing as last time (lol). I ordered the following: - Tempura Soba (hot) for 580 yen On top of the noodles were green onions, seaweed, egg, and tempura. It was quite a generous portion, I think (lol). The menu was the same as last time, but the price has gone up slightly. It's a tough world out there. The tempura seemed a bit smaller this time. "Thank you for the meal."

I visited the restaurant around 6:30 on a weekday and ordered the morning set curry for 450 yen and kakiage tempura with self-service fried eggs coupon. There were 3 customers before me and 7 customers after me. The staff, consisting of energetic young men and women, were very efficient. The restaurant was spacious, but the pick-up and return counter sizes were normal.

On Sunday night at 8pm, most people are probably eating dinner at home. The restaurant is spacious with only two sets of customers, giving it a lonely atmosphere. It must be bustling with nearby office workers during lunchtime. I had the best value Katsudon set for ¥850, which came with soba noodles. This time, I chose the warm soba option. The soba broth tasted a bit strong in soy sauce for me, who is used to Kansai-style broth. The Katsudon had a chain restaurant taste, but the meat was thick and good. However, even though it should have been freshly made, it somehow wasn't piping hot. I left feeling full for ¥850.

Yudetaro is a restaurant with many seats. I ordered and my food was served quickly. I ordered the following: - Kakiage tempura soba - Mini takana rice The crispy texture of the tempura and the sweetness of the vegetables were delicious. The combination of freshly made soba and plenty of takana rice was satisfying. Yudetaro is definitely a place with high satisfaction.

Ramen Thing Saga Part 3 Koto-ku Lunch Wandering Story Part 228 Struggling with a diet before a health check-up, I thought of having a bowl of soba, but then I discovered a ramen that I hadn't seen much in other stores. In an instant, I changed direction and decided to try it out. By the way, how's the diet going...? The restaurant's interior was strangely wide, resembling a student cafeteria. I noticed a separate ticket counter for ramen, different from the usual soba corner. I was asked to choose between soy sauce or miso when purchasing the ticket. I chose soy sauce. The noodles arrived in about 3 minutes. Soy Sauce Ramen - 550 yen It was a traditional, light Chinese-style ramen with a soup base that seemed to be made from a commercial mix, giving it a well-balanced taste. The noodles were medium-thin and slightly curly, cooked firm. The toppings included chashu, menma, half a boiled egg, wakame, and chopped green onions. The chashu was surprisingly thick but lacked a bit of juiciness. The portion of noodles was slightly small, but considering the price and the fact that it's not a ramen specialty store, the quality was quite satisfactory. There was a self-service condiment and garnish corner next to the counter, where you could customize your ramen. I added plenty of black pepper, and also some tempura crumbs for an extra crunch. I decided to respect the Tottori-originated "soba ramen" (which is made with udon broth and Chinese noodles, and is seasoned with tempura crumbs and black pepper to resemble ramen) by adding tempura crumbs and black pepper. It surprisingly worked well. I also added grated garlic for an extra kick. All this talk about ramen, but how about the diet...? By the way, I heard that the store shifts to a more authentic izakaya-style operation at night. The brand is operated by two companies, "Shinetsu Shokuhin" and "Yudetarou System." The Shinetsu Shokuhin stores showcase various seasonal products and unique features. The izakaya operation may be part of that. While you can have a casual drink at the System stores, experiencing a Yudetarou x Drinking session is something I'd like to try. But first, I need to pass the health check-up. Maybe it's not the best idea to talk about it while slurping ramen.

I ordered the miso ramen at Yudetaro because I found the soy sauce flavor intimidating. I tried to upgrade to a large portion using a coupon, but apparently that option is only available for soba noodles. I decided to add a soft-boiled egg with the coupon instead. They only had various condiments available at the pick-up counter, so I added garlic, chili miso, chili oil, and vinegar without tasting the default flavor. The garlic and chili miso added depth to the soup, making it quite enjoyable for a ramen priced in the 500 yen range. The noodles were average, nothing special. The chashu pork slices were thicker than expected. I poured some soup over the soft-boiled egg from the coupon and enjoyed it almost like a dipping noodle style. It might be the right way to eat a delicious soft-boiled egg. Overall, I had a great time with this 500 yen ramen. I might go for the miso flavor again next time; soy sauce is harder to customize, after all.笑

The use of this restaurant is for internal office lunches. This is my second post, but I have visited over 50 times. Due to the weak yen, high raw material costs, and rising energy prices, they have implemented several price increases. The kakesoba costs 400 yen. I tried adding croquettes as a topping with a service ticket. The manager, Rinten, in the kitchen provides pleasant service and efficient work. I am always impressed by the amazing work they do in this foreign land.

During the spring coupon distribution period, I chose the Katsudon at Yudetaro for 640 yen, which is a bit more expensive compared to other major noodle and soba restaurants like Katsuya. The Katsudon at Yudetaro has a distinct flavor with the aroma of soba soup, different from the one at Katsuya. The tonkatsu itself is pre-fried and topped with egg, giving it a unique taste. It's a bit disappointing that it lacks the crispy texture and hotness of freshly fried katsu, but the soba soup flavor is warm and comforting, suitable for Japanese taste buds. Now that I have obtained the coupon, I wonder which one I should use next.

I used a free coupon to enjoy the "kakesoba" at Asa Yudetaro for three days in a row, adding "Sanriku wakame," "kakiage," and "onsen tamago." Despite the price hike, the free coupon was a wallet-friendly treat, and I also received a spring coupon at Toyosu's Yudetaro. The kakesoba at Yudetaro has a flavorful broth and a satisfying texture, and it remains a reliable choice. I first tried the "Sanriku wakame," which had a crunchy texture and a nice seaweed aroma, making me feel like I got my daily dose of minerals in the morning. Next was the "kakiage," which was freshly fried and crispy, a classic tempura topping to enjoy by mixing it in with the noodles. Lastly, the "onsen tamago" was a perfect topping for morning soba. The broth at Yudetaro pairs well with the soft-boiled egg, and breaking the yolk halfway through adds a creamy flavor for a nice change. Despite the high cost of living, the price of the standing soba has increased, with the kakesoba priced at 400 yen, a bit higher than other standing soba options. However, having a free coupon makes it a budget-friendly choice and a reason to visit. When I visited at the end of February, I received a spring coupon for March, so I will definitely be back. #soba #Yudetaro #Toyosu #sova_sova #salaryman_lunch #free_coupon #kakesoba #using_free_coupon_at_morning_Yudetaro

I have only been to Toyosu once in the past, so I don't know much about the area. I looked up a standing soba shop and found Yude Tarou, where I had the Kakiage soba for lunch, which cost 520 yen. It seems that prices have gone up, but it's still hard to find a meal for around 500 yen in this area. Despite the long line of about 30 people, it moved quickly. The freshly boiled soba had a slightly weak broth, and the kakiage was crispy and chewy. I might come back during the ticket distribution period next time.

I was tempted by the crispy tempura at this restaurant, but today I decided to try the new menu. It was delicious with plenty of sweet and spicy simmered pork and onions, topped with green onions mixed with chili oil. I also like the "Niku Maikotake Soba" with its meaty flavor, but this dish with a direct hit of meaty goodness is also good.

This restaurant has been a while. I had work during lunch time, so I'm eating a bit late. I decided to come to this restaurant after a long time because I wanted something quick to eat. I ordered the Tempura Soba (hot) for 560 yen with toppings of tempura, seaweed, egg, and green onions. The tempura was mainly made of onions and was quite large. The taste was different from what I remembered in the past, but it was delicious. It was after the lunch rush, so I was able to take my time. "Thank you for the meal."

On September 23, 2022, around 7:30 PM, I visited our beloved Yudetaro in Toyosu, Koto-ku. This time, it was a complete turnaround from my previous disappointment. I had to visit a facility in Koto-ku, and on my way back, I wanted to do some work on my laptop and my stomach was also growling. So, I decided to stop by Yudetaro Toyosu store. It had been about a year since my last visit, and time really flies. I purchased the Thick Fried Tofu and Mushroom Tempura Soba for 600 yen from the ticket machine. After a short wait, I received my soba with tempura, thick fried tofu, leaf-shaped carrots, seaweed, and green onions as toppings. The tempura was freshly fried, and the soba was of the usual Yudetaro quality. Hmm, in this world of price hikes, it's amazing that I could have this for 600 yen. I left the store feeling satisfied. I realized that I hadn't been using Yudetaro recently, and the reason was in my previous review. I had been quite disappointed when I had a similar limited-time soba last November. That soba had tempura of mushroom, lotus root, and potato, leaf-shaped carrots, and green onions for 580 yen. Looking back at the review, I was clearly very dissatisfied at that time. Maybe I had been eating too much Yudetaro back then, but after not having it for a while and trying it again, I can say it's still delicious. It's amazing how a slight change in price, just 20 yen, can make a difference even though the content is almost the same. Yudetaro, making me feel the autumn vibes, I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

I chose the morning soba set with a wiener rice bowl! I also added tempura topping. All of this for 560 yen is cheap. The tempura has a crunchy texture rather than crispy. I might actually like this crunchy texture. It was delicious to the last bite even when dipped in soup. I am satisfied with this hearty and delicious meal from the morning. Thank you for always looking at my posts! If you like, please give it a like and save it (≧∀≦)

If you stop by at Yudetaro, you can enjoy the "Summer Soba Festival." The cold soba noodles have a firm texture and are mixed with tofu, myoga, nozawana, and wasabi kombu, creating a refreshing summer soba dish. It is wallet-friendly for Tsukiji workers at Yudetaro in Toyosu. I decided to have morning soba at Yudetaro after arriving early for off-peak commuting. Despite the recent price increase, standing-style soba is essential for a businessman's wallet. I chose the "<Cold Tofu Soba with Condiments - 590 yen>" for breakfast, which came with tofu, myoga, green onions, kaiware, and what seemed like Yamagata dashi, topped with nozawana and wasabi kombu. The cold soba noodles had a strong and refreshing texture, and eating it while mixing the condiments was satisfying. I completed my breakfast with a refreshing summer soba. I will try other dishes from the "Summer Soba Festival" menu next time. #Yudetaro #Toyosu #SummerSoba #SovaSova #BusinessmanLunch #MorningSoba at the "Summer Soba Festival" ===========

I ordered "morisoba" from the ticket machine, and with the help of a free coupon unique to Yude Taro, I also got "kakiage tempura" on the side. The refreshing soba with a crispy texture is always reliable. Yude Taro in Toyosu is the closest lunch spot from the office. It's a quick walk of about 10 minutes from the office to the opposite side of the station. I only purchased a ticket for "morisoba" for 360 yen from the ticket machine, and handed over the "kakiage tempura" that I had cut out from the coupon I received during my last visit. There are all kinds of coupons out there, but Yude Taro's are really useful. I enjoyed the familiar and reliable taste quickly, then headed back to the office. I wonder if there could be a Yude Taro on the office side of the station too. #YudeTaro #Toyosu #salarymanlunch #sova_sova
