I have been continuing my daytime drinking series at sushi restaurants in the neighborhood. The restaurant I ended up at while surfing for sushi was Sushidokoro Amami. It is a sushi restaurant in Negishi, Taito-ku, and this time I got off at Inaricho Station and walked there. Since I have no sense of direction in this area, I was feeling excited. Before reaching the restaurant, I suddenly saw a long line. I wondered what it was, and when I went to the front of the line, it seemed to be a store. When I searched on my smartphone, it turned out to be a place with a huge and cheap seafood bowl for 1050 yen. About 50 people were waiting in line. While I would have wanted to try it if I were younger, I am satisfied with a moderate amount now (laughs). From there, I arrived at Amami in 3-4 minutes. There was about 15 minutes until the opening time, so I basked in the sun. There was a Muay Thai gym poster on the glass door of the restaurant. Actually, one of the gyms is in Abiko. It used to be in front of Tenno-dai Station, and they used to have a Thai restaurant as well. I was the first-time poster, and the next person will stop posting before I do. I wonder if this sushi restaurant is related to that? I entered the restaurant on time. There was a cherry tree in the center of the restaurant, and it was already blooming. Probably because it's warm. The head chef seemed to be preparing something in the corner. He was looking down, but when I entered, he raised his head and greeted me. I was shown to my seat, and I sat in the center of the counter. As usual, I ordered a bottle of beer and tea. While waiting, I looked at the outside menu, and what caught my eye was the smoked bonito. I already had bonito for the first time the other day, and it was good. "Is this smoked bonito like straw-grilled or smoked?" It turned out to be the head chef's unique way, and the production method is a trade secret (laughs). I ordered it. Bonito at this time of year is very refreshing and delicious. It didn't seem to have anything to do with straw or smoke. I decided to have only one dish as a snack and about 10 pieces of sushi. I opened a beer and chatted while waiting. I was curious about Muay Thai, so I asked why that poster was there. The head chef's daughter is a world champion Muay Thai fighter. She has won 4 titles in 3 weight classes, surpassing them all. Was there a Japanese woman like that? "Look back for a moment." I turned around. There was a big picture hanging on the wall. She's beautiful. I'll leave her blog link here. ↓ http://ameblo.jp/littletigerj/ And please look at the photo on the far right of the cover. You see the word "Amami" on the trunks, right? She has another world title fight at the end of this month in a different weight class. With that, I felt a sense of closeness. As for the sushi, they had 1. flounder 2. medium fatty tuna 3. bonito, good selection of ingredients. What's most enjoyable about the neighborhood sushi series is that these kinds of surprises come out smoothly. It's like a little surprise. Most of the sushi restaurant reviews on Tabelog are for lunch sushi. Lunch sushi is good too, but I think it's my duty to showcase the best of the restaurant on Tabelog, and I want to make it my life's work. I want to show the restaurant's true ability, which is hard to imagine from the reviews before I post, and I hope it will be useful for someone. Although there was no 4. squid 5. mackerel 6. cuttlefish, I had about 10 pieces of sushi, one by one. 4, 5, and 6 are my favorite trio. 7. saury 8. conger eel skin 9. salmon roe 10. whelk 0. pickled radish skin 0. rolled omelette I had a total of 10 pieces with snacks included. It was delicious. Lastly, I added 11. ark shell and finished. While eating, I was taught about the sightseeing spots around Negishi. It was a great restaurant. I will definitely come back here. The atmosphere was good, the ingredients were good, and the cost performance was excellent. I was completely satisfied.
