After work, three of us visited the restaurant. It's always full no matter when you come. The yakitori is delicious. The green onions are also tasty. The all-you-can-drink option on the day is much appreciated. The COVID-19 measures are well taken care of, making us feel safe. We realized once again that it's the best cost performance restaurant in the Toranomon area. We will visit again.

With the recent legal change, individuals aged 18 and above but under 20 are now considered adults starting from April 1, 2022. The transition from childhood to adulthood seems to be a struggle for many, as seen in the annual rowdy coming-of-age ceremonies. Speaking of being 18 years old, there used to be jokes about people responding to the question "What is your zodiac sign?" with answers like "toilet seat" or "dumpling." However, nowadays, some are humorously replying with "FANZA." FANZA is an 18+ site, and when we talk about 18 karat gold, it means the purity level is 75% gold, often represented as "750" in some countries. Today's lunch was at #おみっちゃん, where you can enjoy a lunch set for 750 yen. I chose the #やきとり丼 this time, following my previous experience with the delicious beef tripe stew. The meal was served promptly after being seated, and I cracked the #raw egg on top to complete the dish. The #yakitori was flavorful with a sweet and savory sauce and a nice charred finish. The meat had a perfect balance of tenderness and umami, especially when mixed with the egg. The #tsukune also had a great texture, complemented by the taste of green onions. The simple lettuce salad and chilled tofu added nice flavors to the meal, and enjoying the cold soba with dipping sauce was a delightful experience. Although the dining experience was brief, getting such quality for 750 yen amidst price hikes feels almost miraculous.

Visited around 11:30 on a regular day. Located in the Okamoto Building B1F just outside of Toranomon Station Exit 8, this izakaya has become a favorite of mine since my last visit. Despite arriving early, the place was already almost full, showing its popularity. I ordered the pork belly stew set for 750 yen with an extra large portion of rice for 100 yen, totaling 850 yen. The dish was served in about 5 minutes. The main pork belly stew consisted of two large slices of pork belly and two slices of daikon radish, simmered in a light broth without the use of star anise, which I found to be to my liking. The rice portion was surprisingly huge, freshly cooked and delicious, but it was quite a challenge to finish the two slices of pork belly. I managed to finish it by using the complimentary egg to make egg over rice. Finished off with some soba for dessert. This wonderful izakaya always surprises me with its generous portions that never fail to fill me up. I look forward to conquering their lunch menu soon.

I stopped by for the second party. I wasn't very hungry, so I had a few simple dishes. They were all decent, nothing too surprising, but consistently good. The drinks were reasonably priced and the atmosphere was relaxed at the cozy table. I'd like to come back next time starting from the first party.

I visited this izakaya around 12:30 on a regular day. It is located in the Okamoto Building B1F just outside the 8th exit of Toranomon Station. They have lunch service with bento boxes displayed in front of the store. I decided to go in and found a row of table seats in the basement. I ordered the Wagyu beef offal stew bowl for 750 yen with extra rice for 100 yen, totaling 850 yen. The main dish, the offal stew bowl, was incredibly generous in portion! Even though I asked for extra rice, it seemed like it was overflowing from the bowl. The Wagyu offal was fatty and delicious. The offal was cut into chunks and simmered in a sweet and savory sauce, complementing the sweetness of the fat. The green onions and ginger added a nice touch to the flavor, but the amount of offal itself was average. When I tried to have the soup, I was surprised to find soba noodles in it! They also included a small portion of soba noodles. Additionally, a raw egg was provided as a complimentary service. I couldn't finish all the rice due to the large portion, so I ended up enjoying a luxurious dish of raw egg over rice with two eggs. It was a satisfying lunch experience after a long time! The price was reasonable, the portion was generous, and the cost performance was excellent! It's recommended to arrive early as the place gets crowded quickly, as indicated by the "preparing" sign being taken down by the time I left at 12:45.

While looking for lunch in Toranomon, I stumbled upon Omicchan, a place I often visit in Kawasaki. The lunch menu clearly reflects their specialty in motsu-yaki (grilled offal) and yakitori (grilled chicken). I found myself ordering the full stomach set without even realizing it. However, those around me seemed to prefer the fried chicken set, which looked quite substantial when it arrived. When my full stomach set arrived, it included a yakitori bowl, motsu-ni (simmered offal), and even cold soba noodles. The freshly grilled yakitori was delicious, and the motsu-ni was well-cooked and paired perfectly with rice. The cold soba noodles were a bit too soft for my liking, but overall, the set definitely lived up to its name of filling up your stomach. Honestly, I couldn't help but wish for a cold beer to go with the motsu-ni.

There is a colleague I work with named Ogino, and sometimes I get confused whether it's spelled as 荻野 or 萩野. Similarly, Imori and Yamori look the same, but Imori guards wells (井戸) so it's called "imosu" (井守), while Yamori guards houses (家) so it's called "ie-mori" (家守). Just like that, the difference between teishoku (set meal) and donburi (rice bowl) is that teishoku has side dishes and rice served separately, while donburi has toppings directly on top of the rice. Today's lunch menu offers a choice between donburi or teishoku for #wagyū motsu nikomi at Omicchan. While exploring new places, I noticed many people heading underground, so I decided to line up and see what's inside. It took about 5 minutes to get in, but the service was quick once inside. The teishoku comes with soba soup, giving off a hearty and satisfying meal for laborers. The motsu nikomi is tender with a perfect balance of miso flavor and the texture of offal. I also received a complimentary raw egg, but the bold flavor of the motsu nikomi made it unnecessary as the rice alone was already delicious. Despite its simplicity, the meal includes a salad and pickles, all for just 750 yen which is quite affordable. I'm curious about the other meat bowls, so I'll definitely be back soon.

This is a yakitori restaurant near Toranomon Station. I arrived on a Friday around 7 pm and it was full, but I was able to get in after a short wait. It was quite lively and crowded. They allow smoking (not sure about cigarettes), so it might be a bit challenging for non-smokers. The food was all quite delicious. Personally, I think it would be even better if it were non-smoking.

Lunch used every week, my favorite lunch set is priced at 750 yen. Today I had the motsu stew set. The motsu stew is a bit fatty but tender and delicious. The rice portion is like the default large size at regular restaurants. Instead of miso soup, they serve soba soup. I am always satisfied and full after eating here. It was delicious!

- A casual yakitori restaurant right near Toranomon Station. Lunch is all 750 yen. I ordered the fried chicken set. For some reason, it also came with rice and tanuki soba, so it was a carb festival. The taste was decent, but the fried chicken was a bit tough, and my jaw got tired. - Drinks are around 400-500 yen per glass (basic information). - Yakitori izakaya. - 1 minute walk from Toranomon Station on the Ginza Line. - Budget around 750 yen per person for lunch. - About 40 table seats. - Children are probably not allowed.

I visited at 1pm! I wanted to eat a hearty bowl dish, so I chose this place. The interior of the restaurant has a nostalgic Showa-era diner atmosphere, which adds to its charm. I ordered the Yakitori Donburi with extra rice (850 yen). I was very hungry, so I opted for extra rice, but I immediately regretted it. The Yakitori Donburi was served in about 7 minutes. It was huge. Additionally, it came with soba noodles, tofu, and salad. The soba, tofu, and salad were average. Nothing special. The Yakitori Donburi had chicken meatballs, chicken with leeks, and chicken skin, and it was quite tasty. However, the amount of rice was too much for the toppings. So, I decided to top it with a raw egg. I used about 4 eggs in total. It wasn't incredibly delicious, but it was decently tasty and the portion was generous. This is a good place to visit when you're really hungry.

I visited at 1 pm on a weekday. It was not crowded like it was past 12:00 when I tried to go before. I had plenty of yakitori, rice soaked in sauce, and mixed it with an egg at the end. It also came with tanuki soba, salad, and cold tofu for 750 yen. It's delicious to eat the yakitori as is, and it seems like a great place for drinking too! Thank you for the meal!

One day, while on my way to Café de L'ambre after withdrawing money from Mizuho Bank, I noticed a very affordable lunch sign hanging as I headed south from Toranomon Intersection. It advertised a set meal (donburi) for 750 yen with soba included. Given the recent closure of many restaurants in the Shinbashi/Toranomon area, I decided to take a look inside. At the entrance on the 1st floor, they were selling bento boxes. When I asked the person selling them if they were open, they pointed downstairs, so I went down the stairs. Upon opening the unassuming door and entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a typical izakaya frequented by middle-aged salarymen. I was the only customer at the time and was told to sit wherever I liked. The restaurant had no counter, only 4-person tables (which could be pushed together for up to 8 people) lined up. I ordered the grilled chicken bowl. The water they brought me looked like shochu or oolong highball, which would be tempting to drink in normal circumstances. It seemed to have been pre-made (probably for the bento boxes sold on the 1st floor) and was served promptly. The grilled chicken bowl came with soba, cold tofu, and salad, quite a satisfying meal. I noticed that there were green onions on top of the grilled chicken bowl but none on the soba, which was a bit odd. I started with the soba, not expecting much, and found it to be decent for the price. Next, I tried the grilled chicken bowl. The amount of rice was surprisingly large, with one tsukune equivalent to two green onions. Although the rice lacked a crispy texture, it paired well with the flavorful grilled chicken. Some customers arrived later, with a few requesting smaller portions of rice. It seems that the restaurant's generous rice servings are a defining feature. Personally, I usually finish my food even if it's too much, but this time I left some behind. This restaurant may appeal to those who prioritize quantity over taste. It doesn't seem to attract female customers, but there are quite a few male regulars.

This time, I went to a shop called Omicchan on the way to Shinbashi Station. It is located on the ground floor where Yoshinoya and Hanamaru Udon fast food restaurants are lined up. The shop is located just down the stairs of a certain building. Although the state of emergency has been lifted, it seems that casual izakaya-style shops are still not popular. The restaurant was sparsely populated even during lunchtime. There are 6 lunch sets to choose from, and each set comes with cold soba and salad. I chose the braised pork set, and the rice was incredibly soft and disappeared quickly even though it was a lunch portion (laughs). The combination of rice and cold soba was quite impactful. The taste is repeatable, but the impression of the shop being unclean may make it difficult for women to visit. Good points: - Large portions are free - Raw eggs are all-you-can-eat - Overall, the portions are generous.

For lunch on this day, I went to the area near Toranomon Station. It was my first visit to this izakaya that specializes in grilled pork. They offer a lunch menu with 7 choices, all priced at 750 yen each. I ordered the "Wagyu tripe stew set" with extra rice. The extra rice portion was huge, filling up a small bowl with rice piled high. The overall portion size was impressive. The stew was a sweet miso version with tender and fluffy tripe that had a nice chew to it. It also came with tofu and plenty of sides. I left feeling very full. I saw someone order the fried chicken set, and the portion of fried chicken was massive! I'll have to try that next time!

Today's Sara Meshi‼️ 10th stop on my Toranomon Yakitori Bowl exploration. The rainy season is in full swing and it's been raining all week ☔️. I prepared a few places where I could go without an umbrella ☂️ in mind, and one of them was "Tsubushitate Yakitori Omicchan" where I had the "Yakitori Bowl". Although it wasn't listed on the menu, for lunch you get a "Mini Tanuki Soba", "Salad", "Side Dish", and a raw egg for only ¥750.-, making it a great deal. The "Yakitori Bowl" itself comes with 3 skewers of "Negima", "Tsukune", and "Hinadori" topped with "Shibazuke" for some reason. The sauce is not too sweet and just to my liking. The portion of yakitori is generous and satisfying. I've been continuing my exploration of Toranomon Yakitori Bowls, and except for one shop that was closed for lunch, I feel like I've almost conquered them all. My top 3 are... ① Toriyoshi ② Toridama ③ Tsukune Yakitori Bowls are paired with "Oyakodon" in many places, so maybe next time I'll start a "Toranomon Oyakodon Exploration" (laughs)

I visited the restaurant around 12 o'clock today. It is located near Toranomon Station and was relatively empty. The restaurant operates as an izakaya at night and their recommended dish is yakitori. This time, I ordered the yakitori donburi (750 yen) and it was served in about 5 minutes. The yakitori donburi (tsukune, negima) comes with soba, pickles, and cold tofu. What's even better is that there is unlimited raw egg on the table. I put one each on my yakitori donburi and soba, and it was delicious. The yakitori donburi is generously sized with plenty of sauce, very satisfying and tasty. The soba was average, but having it with the yakitori donburi is a great deal. I finished it all in no time!

Kaminoya-cho, Tameike-Sanno, and now the third location of Omicchan is in Toranomon. They don't open until 11:30, so I waited a bit and entered as soon as they opened. The lunch menu is all 750 yen, which is quite a good deal. I chose the Yakitori Donburi for 750 yen. After waiting about 8 minutes, the food was served. To my surprise, soba noodles were included as a side dish. It was tanuki soba with tempura crumbs, a Kansai-style soba broth with a cup noodle-like flavor. The soba was decent. The Yakitori Donburi was generous, with one tsukune meatball and two negima skewers. The tsukune tasted like a mass-produced meatball, while the negima skewers were good with flavorful chicken meat. The sauce was sweet, but just right for the bowl, making the rice go down easily. There was also a raw egg on the table, which I added to the bowl. It didn't turn into a tamago don, but the combination of yakitori and raw egg was good. I also had two eggs. The mini salad and cold tofu were nothing special. Overall, for 750 yen, it was a great value. In the Toranomon area, lunch options range from 500 to 1500 yen, offering a variety of choices. Oh, and they offer a large serving of rice for an extra 100 yen, which I thought was expensive until I saw the huge portion at the table next to me. It was piled three times the height of a regular bowl, like something out of a Japanese folktale.

There is a popular izakaya called "Omitchan" located near Toranomon Station. I have visited this place a few times and it is a favorite among my colleagues. Although I have only written about it once before, I debated whether to include it in this article. However, in the past two weeks, I have been to many mainstream establishments and have not written about them, so I felt compelled to include "Omitchan" in this review. The standard yakitori assortment set, which includes 6 skewers for 890 yen, 7 skewers for 1,030 yen, and 8 skewers for 1,150 yen, is a must-order. On this particular visit, we ordered the 6-skewer set as a snack for our second round of drinks. We enjoyed the yakitori, especially the motsu-yaki, along with our beers and highballs. The food was delicious as always, and the prices were very reasonable. Another satisfying evening at "Omitchan"! Thank you for the meal!! Hello. Nissan 168 Shirai is here. The 621st stop is Omicchan in Toranomon. I came here for a quick drink after work. Even though it's Monday, there are a lot of customers. Everyone is a salaryman. I was looking forward to coming here because it's a place where you can eat yakitori cheaply. The yakitori is around 150 yen per skewer, which is reasonable. And they are quite big, so they are satisfying to eat. I ordered an 8-skewer set, which costs 1,150 yen, so it's a bit cheaper. They brought both sauce and salt for seasoning, as I recommended the way it's cooked. They also have fatty cuts, making it a unique place. The cuts are common for yakitori. They have large jugs for drinks, and you can have a highball for less than 800 yen, which is cheap. It's a great value. Two large jugs and 8 skewers cost around 3,000 yen per person. I was quite satisfied with the meal. No complaints.
