In a cozy space, I enjoyed a leisurely morning. I had some time before a meeting, so I decided to have a coffee here. Until 11:00, they offer a morning special where you can get a light meal with a specified drink for free or a small additional charge. You can choose from tea, coffee, latte, etc. For hot coffee, I chose from three options: Bitter Blend, Doutor Blend, or American Blend. I ordered the Bitter Blend (500 yen) with Butter Toast and Boiled Egg (no additional charge). The coffee had a consistent taste, the boiled egg was hard-boiled and cold, and the toast was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a hint of butter flavor. The chairs at the counter were comfortable, there were outlets available, and it's a cafe I would like to use when I need a change of scenery while working from home.

I had some errands to run outside, and with this heatwave, I was completely exhausted, sweaty, and drained. Naturally, I thought, "I need to find a place to drink something cold and take a break!" So, I decided to visit this Doutor cafe, which I had never been to before.
The cafe was located on the second floor of a building, accessible only by a steep staircase. The entrance was a bit dimly lit, and I couldn't help but wonder how it compared to other Doutor cafes.
As I made my way inside, I was pleasantly surprised to find a spacious and bright interior, with most of the walls being glass windows. The staff greeted me as I found a table near the window and started looking at the menu for a cold drink.
I decided to go with an iced coffee, opting for the "plenty size" which caught my eye. My friend chose a sweet iced tea with an ice cream topping. The drinks arrived promptly, with my iced coffee being served in a large glass that truly lived up to its "plenty" name.
Both drinks were refreshing, perfect for a hot afternoon. The cafe had a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, making it a great place to relax and unwind. I would definitely consider revisiting in the future.

Doutor Coffee is a well-known coffee shop that offers a slightly upscale and spacious atmosphere. The prices are a bit higher compared to other Doutor locations, but the taste is decent. The location near the station is convenient, and the spacious seating area has a calm and relaxed vibe, unlike the crowded and hectic atmosphere of the city center. It's a great place to unwind and enjoy a coffee or indulge in some sweet treats. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the upscale version of Doutor Coffee called "Doutor Coffee Shop" located right in front of Kameari Station. The interior of the shop is like a restaurant, offering dishes like curry, loco moco, and Hawaiian pancakes. I ordered an "Iced Coffee for 500 yen." If you prefer hot coffee, you can choose from three blends: Bitter Blend, Doutor Blend, or American Soft Blend, all priced at 500 yen. Unlike regular Doutor Coffee where you pay first at the self-service counter, here they bring your drink to your table and you pay afterwards. The taste of the iced coffee was refreshing and delicious, with less bitterness compared to the usual Doutor Coffee. The cup was also stylish. The higher price is justified by the use of quality beans to create an elegant iced coffee experience.

In 2022, a Doutor cafe opened in front of Kameari Station (above a Seven-Eleven). It seems to be a top-class Doutor store, only found in the Greater Tokyo Area and one store in Kyoto and Hyogo. It's quite rare for Doutor to choose Kameari for such a unique store. As a top-class store, the menu and atmosphere are completely different from Doutor. The pricing is also different. You can choose from light roast, medium roast, or dark roast for the blend coffee, but you can't choose the size (although there is a 1.5 times size available). The familiar Milano sandwich is not available. There are unfamiliar food menu items. The price for coffee is 550 yen for a specialty blend (regular Doutor blend in large size is 350 yen). Refills are half price, but unlike Hoshino Coffee, there is no refill system for 1.5 times size. Ice coffee is served in a copper mug. The copper mug ice coffee is nice. If you ask about the type of beans, they use a dark roast blend for all iced coffees. You don't need to choose the same type for refills, the second cup can be hot, and you can choose any blend, which is convenient. The interior is designed for longer stays compared to regular Doutor stores. The chairs are different. There are sofa seats along the walls. Tables have power outlets. There is no free Wi-Fi. You can call a staff member by pressing a bell on the table. Some people say it's expensive but not tasty (similar to regular Doutor), making it seem like they are targeting a specific customer base. There is also a second-floor store, but you need to climb steep stairs, making it seem like they are trying to exclude older people and families with children. *I don't think Doutor intentionally did this, it's probably just a location issue. There are hardly any cafes near Kameari Station where you can relax quietly, especially with places like Komeda being crowded and noisy with older customers. This place might struggle to survive being seen as expensive and pretentious, but it's perfect for a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, so I personally would like to visit again. However, if they claim to be "particular about beans," I think they need to make more effort to brew delicious coffee. Whether they use a machine or hand-brew, corporate efforts are needed to improve.

After work, I decided to stop by a Doutor café, which is a step up from the usual ones. The space is spacious, with sofa seating and a wide variety of food options. Most importantly, they have parfaits! They come in mini sizes, but you can also try other items on the menu. I've been there a few times and it's never too crowded, so you can easily find a seat. After enjoying some food and drinks, I like to relax with a book and a cup of coffee. It's a bit on the pricey side, but I see it as a worthwhile investment for a relaxing time. Despite being located near the station, it's surprisingly quiet.

I like hot dog sausages that are crispy on the outside when grilled. And I want to eat three times more potatoes than this. "Welcome to the Farm!" It feels like being invited to the estate of an egg-producing farmer, where you can enjoy the taste of eggs to your heart's content. With a focus on pursuing "delicious coffee," Doutor Coffee Shop has been around for over 40 years. From green beans to roasting and blending techniques, the challenge continues to this day. At Doutor Farm, we have shaped a part of that passion for coffee. We offer a high-class blend using specialty beans to welcome our customers. Everything is for the "best cup" for our customers. It seems to be a sister store of Doutor. There are only a few stores in Tokyo, and I happened to stop by in Kameari when I had some time to spare. I ordered the Napoli-style pasta, which I have been into lately. It seems like they use fresh pasta, and the noodles were chewy and even more delicious than I had imagined. It wasn't your typical Napoli-style pasta, as the eggplant flavor was quite strong and I could taste the tomato pasta base. But out of all the Napoli-style pastas I've had recently, this was the most delicious. The prices are a bit higher than regular cafes, especially since I went on a weekend and there didn't seem to be any drink sets. The restaurant was quite crowded, and even as I was leaving, there were people waiting for seats, so I think it's a popular spot!

A Doutor-like café located on the second floor in front of Kameari Station, which used to be a former Mitsui Sumitomo Bank. The coffee is expensive, priced at 500 yen, and they offer a variety of food options. The interior is spacious with comfortable sofas towards the back. Be careful of the steps inside the store! Upon entering, the staff seemed lacking in energy and spoke in a low voice. I was told to sit wherever I liked. I ordered the Bitter Blend coffee and an Opera cake. The coffee tasted similar to a 200 yen coffee from another store. The cake was mediocre, served on a plastic plate with the original plastic wrapping still on. For 450 yen, the taste was nothing special. The sugar was in block form, making it difficult to pick up with a spoon. Overall, the experience felt amateurish. With so many other cafes like Komeda, BECK'S, PRONTO, and Coffee Kaden nearby, I do not plan on revisiting this café.

Located just a 1-minute walk from Kameari Station, this Doutor Coffee shop has a Food Log rating of 3.05 stars as of September 11, 2022. Opened on March 17, 2022, this establishment is part of the higher-end brand "Doutor Coffee Farm." According to the Doutor Coffee Farm website, it aims to provide a luxurious space where customers can enjoy the taste of coffee to their heart's content, as if they were invited to the coffee farm owner's mansion. The atmosphere is spacious and the drinks served are of high quality. On this particular visit, the reviewer received a ticket for Nokura-san's hand-made super high-water noodles at 10 a.m. and decided to pass the time until the 11 a.m. meeting time by visiting this cafe. They ordered a Cafe Latte for 650 yen, which was beautifully presented with latte art. The price of 650 yen is comparable to that of a cafe like Renoir, and while the reviewer couldn't discern much difference in taste, they felt that the price was justified considering the ambiance and time spent. They plan to visit this cafe again when visiting Nokura-san in the future.

There is a Doutor in front of Kameari Station! I went to buy the Yoghurt that I had enjoyed at a different shop the other day, but it seems that this Doutor is different from the one I am familiar with... When I looked at the menu, it had a high-end feel and also a family restaurant-like vibe with hearty meals available. The coffee was quite expensive as well. Of course, they didn't have the Yoghurt I was looking for (ToT). Since I had already sat down, I decided to cool off with some coffee jelly. While waiting, I looked up what kind of place this was, and it seems to be a high-end brand store of Doutor. There are apparently only 10 stores in Tokyo. Why is such a place in Kameari... I wondered, and then my order arrived! Now, for the taste... On top of the coffee jelly, there is a layer of coffee-infused milk blancmange, and on top of that is vanilla ice cream. The coffee jelly was firm and slightly thick, with a slightly bitter but fruity aftertaste, so it wasn't unpleasantly bitter and was refreshing. The coffee-infused milk blancmange, which I initially thought was a milk layer, was also in a firm jelly-like form. Personally, I prefer the liquid milk version, but the vanilla ice cream made up for it, so it's all good. I was a bit puzzled by this unusual Doutor, but I could feel that they were offering something even more upscale than the usual Doutor. As part of their COVID-19 measures, they seemed to be ventilating the toilet by opening the door, but it was quite unsettling to see the toilet bowl as soon as I reached the entrance after climbing the stairs. It really ruined the high-end vibe, haha.

On March 17th, I visited a restaurant located on the second floor near the south exit of Kameari Station, between Minoriya and Seven-Eleven. The entrance is up the stairs, as there is no elevator. When I arrived around 9 am, the restaurant was about 30% full. The interior was spacious, about twice the size of a regular Doutor, with a lot of wood accents. There were around 12 seats at the counter and a large number of table seats. Each table had an outlet, but there was no Wi-Fi. I ordered the morning menu's pizza toast with salad for 500 yen, plus a drink for an additional 60 yen. I chose iced coffee. The food was served in about 6 minutes. The pizza was a bit thin but had plenty of cheese and was delicious. The salad was served in a small bowl. The iced coffee was served with plenty of ice and had a good bitterness, which I enjoyed with some gum syrup. The location near the station makes it convenient for meetings or time adjustments, although it may get crowded during peak hours. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. I confirmed with the staff that there is no free Wi-Fi available.

I had a seasonal strawberry pasta and it exceeded my expectations with the perfect combination of sweetness and acidity from the strawberries. The restaurant was spacious, clean, and had a stylish atmosphere. ✨

A café located in a shopping street near Kameari Station, just a few minutes' walk from the JR line. The second floor has many seats, making it easy to stay for a long time. It is popular among students studying on their own. Free Wi-Fi is available. The low price of drinks at Doutor is also a plus.
