The taste was delicious but the operation was poor. It was quite crowded. I made a reservation for 3:00 pm, but they had trouble confirming the reservation when I arrived. The menu didn't come, even when I tried to get their attention. I asked for water, but it never came, and 20 minutes later the salad arrived. Also, they didn't provide any cutlery. It's a stylish place so people gather there, but the staff's efficiency was so poor that I don't think I'll go back. They were friendly, but they couldn't do their job properly and it was stressful. The drink set for two cost around 4000 yen. It was a generous portion, so I think it was worth the price. The taste was really delicious!

I visited a popular cafe in Yoyogi-Uehara that I often see on Instagram. I made a reservation for 11:30 on a holiday, thinking it would be full, but surprisingly it was quite empty, and they were also accepting walk-in customers without reservations...! ☑︎ Meat Pie ¥2200
The most popular item, the Meat Pie! It comes with a salad. First, the salad was served, and after a 15-minute wait, the freshly baked Meat Pie arrived ✨✨ A large Meat Pie soaked in parsley sauce with mashed potatoes. The pie is crispy, and as soon as you cut into it, the meat juices overflow〜!! It is packed with minced beef inside! It is faithfully reproduced in the style of London, UK, and has a surprisingly bitter taste. The parsley sauce, which seems to use plenty of butter, goes well with the creamy texture. I ended up quite full!

I often see this place on Instagram, so I decided to check it out! The interior of the restaurant had a lot of young women. Although there was no lunch menu with a drink set, I saw others ordering it so I decided to give it a try. They had a wide variety of options and everything seemed to be carefully prepared, so I'm glad I ordered it. I chose the black tea, and they had some unique options as well. I forgot the details, but the salad was delicious. The meat pie exceeded my expectations with its crispy texture. I definitely want to come back and try more dishes next time, maybe for dinner. I think making a reservation is necessary.

I like Naotaro Moriyama. I have liked him since I was young. I hope to run into Naotaro someday while taking a walk around Yoyogi Uehara or going to my favorite cafe. Yes, this is my favorite cafe. I listen to "Makanai ga Tabetai" while here. By the way, I will be going to his 100th live performance.

Reserved a sofa seat and came in to drink wine. The wine selection was extensive, with glasses priced at 1000 yen and bottles at 6000 yen, making it reasonably priced. Wanted to go for a bottle because of the good cost performance, but also wanted to try various types. Finally decided on a glass! Chose some snacks to go with it and placed the order... But the staff was nowhere to be found. They were busy in the back and didn't notice me. Even after making eye contact and sending out vibes, they still didn't come. Finally, 5 minutes later, they realized it was time for the first order. I used to come here before, but was the cafe vibe always this strong? It's fine, though. The wine I ordered was a bit cold. Well, I guess it's okay since I can warm it up with my hands. And then, they mentioned a 500 yen seating fee for the sofa seat. Why didn't they tell me earlier? It's fine, though. The place used to have a cool wine bar vibe, but in recent years, the cafe feel has become even stronger. And when it was time to pay, they only accepted cash or PayPay. Has it changed...? Well, it's fine.

I used the cafe from around 6:30 on Friday. After 7:00, more people started using it for dinner. The atmosphere inside the shop was relatively calm and easy to use. I ordered Classic Flan and hot coffee. The flan was firm and had a light taste. Next time, I want to use it for dinner or lunch and try the meat pie.

Lasagna (vegetable) ¥1,500
Earl Grey ¥700
It was a one drink order system.
We were told that even without a reservation, we could be seated on the terrace. We were guided to a terrace seat.
The Lasagna (meat) seems to have minced meat sauce inside, but the vegetable one had fried vegetables in between, with a creamy sauce flavor. It was slightly sweet, and the cheese was very rich and delicious. It was more filling than expected, and we were very satisfied.
The meat pie is also famous, so I would like to try it.

Located about a 3-minute walk from Yoyogi-Uehara, on the second floor of a building. I ordered a meat pie and mango milk. The meat pie was delicious! It was quite filling, and I left feeling satisfied. There were many reviews saying that the service was not good, but it didn't bother me much.

I decided to start with a classic meat pie order! When I cut into it, the meat juices came gushing out and the filling was packed with juicy meat! The pie crust was quite thick, so it was more satisfying than it looked! The amount of mashed potatoes was also quite generous, so my stomach was about to burst! The seasoning seemed to be carefully balanced with the mashed potatoes, not too rich or too bland, just right! The salad portion was also impressive! Great value for the price!

Yoyogi-Uehara has many popular restaurants with a strong following. One of them is this place. While their specialty is pies, I ordered the daily pasta special. On this day, I had a pasta with karasumi (bottarga) and clams. My companion ordered a meat pie. Both the pasta and the meat pie were delicious and well-made, living up to the restaurant's reputation as a popular spot. ★ If you could give it a like, I would appreciate a follow as well (^^)

Yoyogi-Uehara's stylish cafe bistro, Cafe Bistro Pie, is famous for its pie and mashed potatoes, often featured in magazines. This time, we tried their classic pudding for 600 yen and a cafe latte for 600 yen. After being rejected by the restaurants we wanted to visit, we ended up at this fateful cafe. It opened in 2002, and the owner, who trained in Michelin-starred restaurants and bars for six years, serves French, Italian, and Spanish cuisine. Despite knowing that their freshly baked pie and mashed potatoes are popular, we opted for pudding due to our limited stomach capacity. The cafe is located on the second floor of a building near the station, making it somewhat hard to find, but the large interior was filled with customers. Next time, we want to try the pie, but the pudding was delicious, so we wanted to share our experience. The classic pudding had a firm texture with a strong egg flavor, complemented by the caramel's crisp bitterness. It was rich yet surprisingly light and smooth. The cafe latte was creamy but lacked a distinct sweetness, with a clean finish that made it perfect for refreshing the palate during a meal. The staircase leading to the cafe on the second floor had a charmingly exotic vibe, reminiscent of Italy. The spacious interior with many sofa seats created a cozy atmosphere, suitable for relaxing dates or solo breaks, making it a versatile cafe find that we were delighted to discover.

Visited during the daytime on a holiday. A popular restaurant in the same area, mainly frequented by people in their 20s. Saw a few mom friends and madams. Ordered lasagna and mentaiko pasta. Both dishes had a high salt content and an oily taste that goes well with alcohol, more suited for younger customers. The portions were quite filling for lunch. It seems like the repeat customers are stylish young people.

Just outside of Yoyogi-Koen Station, there is a trendy cafe where retro and modern styles blend together. Although the meat pie seemed to be the most popular choice, as a big fan of lamb, I decided to order the lamb pie. Inside the piping hot, crispy pie, there was a generous amount of tender lamb. The pasta my companion ordered, which was a limited-time special, was also delicious. I definitely want to revisit this place for dinner as well.

I visited this place because I saw it featured on TV shows like "King's Brunch" and "Ad Street Heaven" for their famous "Meat Cheese Pie." I went during cafe time on a weekday and there were only 2 groups of customers ahead of me. It was lucky because when I came for lunch before, it was always full. The Meat Pie looked impressive with a strong buttery smell. The pie crust was crispy. The green sauce was parsley-based and added a nice touch with its subtle flavor. When I cut into it, I found thick slices of meat similar to corned beef, served with mashed potatoes. It was delicious and filling. I wanted some wine to go with it! Just be aware that the service can be slow and the staff may chat amongst themselves. [Visit Date] Wednesday (Sunny)/3:10 PM [Queue] None [Service Time] Approximately 29 minutes

I used it for a holiday lunch. I was able to enter without a reservation. There were many young women. The interior of the restaurant has a retro atmosphere but also has a stylish feel. It is a high-quality restaurant. I was a little concerned that the staff were not wearing masks and were talking a lot. This time I ordered the Meat Lasagna and Chai. It operates on a one-drink order system. The salad is quite generous. The carrot rapé is sweet and has a unique flavor without any unpleasant smell, very delicious. The main lasagna also has a substantial presence of meat and is satisfying to eat. Recommended for when you want to eat heartily. The vegetables are soft and have the natural sweetness of vegetables. It was very delicious! I think everyone who likes meat will like it. It is a truly authentic lasagna that is different from Italian. The chai was not too sweet and refreshing, and delicious. The taste was excellent. I'm just concerned about infection control measures. I will visit again.

Yoyogi-Uehara Knife is a meat cheese pie where the meat juice overflows slowly when you cut into it. It is packed with meat and very hearty! The flavors are rich, and it pairs perfectly with the moist mashed potatoes. This shop is famous for its meat pies, but the lasagna and pasta are also delicious. Meat Cheese Pie ¥2000, Vegetable Lasagna ¥1200, Today's Pasta ¥1200, all served with salad. On holidays, it is a one-drink minimum. The meat pie is quite heavy if you order one per person, so it is recommended to order different items and share when going with multiple people. Note that the meat pie is baked to order, so it takes some time to be served!

Cloudy Sunday around 11:30. The restaurant had just opened but was already about 40% full, and quickly filled up to capacity. I had the mushroom, pancetta, and pecorino cheese pasta for 1,200 yen, along with Moroccan mint herb tea for 800 yen (one drink minimum). All lunch sets come with a salad, and the dressing on this one was not too sour, which was nice. The pasta was cooked al dente with a great texture and delicious flavor. It paired well with alcohol due to its slightly rich taste. The meat pie is their specialty, but I'm not a big fan of pie so I didn't try it. However, it did look appetizing. The music was loud and the place was bustling, giving off a cafe-bar vibe even though it was daytime. The clientele seemed to be mostly couples and groups of women in their 20s, giving off a vibe similar to Shimokitazawa. The staff appeared busy but efficient, adding to the cool atmosphere of the place.

Dish is a historic restaurant located in front of Yoyogi Uehara Station that has been open for about 20 years. The narrow entrance with a brick signboard is quite exciting. The interior of the cafe is stylish, and even today, trendy young people enjoy this space. I ordered the mashed pie lunch. The set salad is well-prepared, with tuna, ham, and colorful carrots. Surprisingly, you can add wine to your lunch for only 300 yen (beer and soft drinks are also available for the same price). The meat pie was different from what I expected. The sauce was unique and plentiful. The pie crust was crispy and the appearance was wonderful. When I cut into it, juicy meat juices dripped out. It seems the pie is made with 100% beef. I always thought of meat pies as the kind you buy at a bakery, but Dish's meat pie tasted like authentic British cuisine with delicious sauce. Despite its volume, the pie crust was light and crispy. This dish changed my perception of meat pies. Thank you for the meal.

I came here before and the food was delicious, so I decided to come back. I had lunch with my friends. It seems like there were more middle-aged locals last time, but now there are a lot of young people. Maybe they are looking for a trendy atmosphere. We are a group that enjoys alcohol, so we started with beer and quickly moved on to wine and oysters. The oysters were so fresh and the original vinegar paired perfectly with them. The meat pie was piping hot and the lasagna was rich and tasty. It would be even better if they had a few more a la carte options, but the lunch set was a good deal and the salad that came with it was generous. If you want to relax, I recommend skipping the lunch set and leisurely enjoying the a la carte menu. I will definitely come back again soon. Thank you for the delicious meal!
