An izakaya where you can enjoy skewers and Shizuoka-style oden as snacks. The skewers include grilled and fried items, with many priced around 100 yen each, making it easy to order. They may be small in size, but the taste is good, and in terms of cost performance, it's definitely worth it. The daikon radish and beef tendon in the oden are also delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lively, which can be seen as a positive or negative depending on your preference. It's recommended to enjoy a quick drink and snack here rather than to relax and savor the alcohol.

The reviewer stayed at a business hotel near Aoto Station on the Keisei Line to prepare for early morning work the next day. In the evening, they went out to find a bar and ended up at Kabura-ya, a popular izakaya chain known for its cheap prices. They were impressed by the variety of dishes available at low prices and ordered a red wiener skewer and grilled green peppers with their beer. They then tried a special platter of liver sashimi, heart sashimi, and tongue sashimi, which was surprisingly affordable. The reviewer continued to order various dishes such as oden, grilled pork, and tempura, enjoying the crispy and light texture of the food. They also tried different drinks like lemon sour, tomato sour, and matcha highball. The reviewer felt like they were in an adult version of a candy store, reminiscing about the excitement of their childhood. Thanks to a PayPay promotion, they received a 30% cashback on their bill, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, the reviewer had a delicious, fun, and nostalgic solo drinking and dining experience at Kabura-ya.

This is a chain restaurant located right after getting off Aoto Station. It's really cheap. You can get one piece of fried chicken for 100 yen. The chu-hai drinks are less than 300 yen. You can enjoy grilled pork tongue and other dishes while drinking. The oden is also pretty good. You can drink and have fun for 2,000 yen per person. Amazing.

The place is located just outside Keisei Aoto Station. Inside the restaurant, there are counter seats and table seats. There is also a TV so you won't get bored. I ordered a matcha highball, negiyaki (green onion pancake), onion tempura, potato salad, oden potatoes, and simmered egg. The matcha highball was rich and delicious. The onion tempura already had sauce on it and the sweetness of the onion was delightful. The oden potatoes were soft and flavorful, and the simmered egg had a nice firm texture. The negiyaki had a delicious sweetness from the green onions. I also ordered an additional Hoppy White before heading home.

I went for a solo drink and was considering going to a stylish restaurant, but ended up being drawn to Kaburaya for its cost performance. I ordered meat miso stuffed peppers, onion fries, kalbi harami, and a draft beer. The meat miso stuffed peppers were delicious, with raw peppers topped with a generous amount of meat miso. The flavor was rich and paired well with alcohol. The crispy texture of the raw peppers was also to my liking! And all of this for around 1000 yen, so happy! I might become a regular here.

Since it's located near the station, even if you're short on time, you can make it in time for the last order. I ordered a matcha highball with shochu, liver, gizzard with salt, and potato salad. I wanted to order oden as well, but it seems like it's not on the menu yet. I love onion rings, so I added one more order. The matcha highball is going down smoothly. I also added croquettes, which are easy to eat by hand rather than being served on a plate. The freshly fried texture is crispy and delicious. Since there was no oden this time, the focus was on fried foods.

I found a great shop right in front of the station. Even though I've been here many times, this is my second review. The temperature has finally started to feel like late autumn or getting colder. I ordered a draft beer, stewed motsu, daikon oden, and konbu oden. The oden here is black oden, with a rich flavor that goes well with sake. The daikon has absorbed the amazing flavor and tastes particularly delicious. The stewed motsu is well cooked with carrots, burdock, and a soft flavor. I also ordered a matcha highball as an extra and finished off my meal.

The restaurant is located in front of Keisei Aoto Station. It's not far to walk. Inside the restaurant, there are tables in the back and counter seats in the front, with acrylic boards separating the seats. I ordered a draft beer, potato salad, grilled skewers of liver, white meat, and teppo, all seasoned with salt. The skewers were delicious with the right amount of salt and perfect grilling. I have been to various other restaurants before, including the Gotanda branch, and all of them offer cheap and delicious food. The potato salad may come in a small dish, but it has a sufficient amount at the counter. I also ordered a green tea highball, followed by a lemon sour, skewered cutlets, and onion fries. The skewered cutlets were tender and tasty, almost mistaken for the onion fries. The onion fries had a fluffy texture that lingered, maybe it's the sauce that makes it so good. I planned to have a quick drink and leave, but I ended up staying a bit longer at the counter seat.

Category: Favorite Izakaya (Tokyo) Today's walk was towards Keisei Aoto. I bought yakitori from the izakaya "Kaburaya" in front of Aoto Station and returned home. Let's open up a home izakaya now. I ordered negima, tsukune, skin, and garlic. Now, let's open up the Home Izakaya Tei. For drinks, let's go with black Hoppy and Kinmiya shochu. The yakitori is cheap and delicious. The ice-cold black Hoppy goes down smoothly. It was delicious. I love eating at the restaurant, but relaxing at home is also nice. It seems to be a new trend that is spreading. Thank you for the meal! "Kaburaya Aoto Branch" Tokyo, Katsushika-ku, Aoto 1-10-4, Fuji Plaza Aoto 1F 16:00-23:00

I have already been there twice. So the food is for two visits. Anyway, it's cheap! And delicious! If you look at the menu, you'll see that there are a lot of skewers for 80 yen. Among them, I like the crispy pig's head. Also, the fried cartilage is amazing! I thought it was chicken knee cartilage, but it turned out to be rings. I wondered what kind of cartilage it was, and when I asked the staff, they said it was pig's throat. Wow, I'm addicted to this! I thought about ordering more, but I felt embarrassed so I stopped. But actually, the one I ordered was the last cartilage they had. Also, this restaurant was recommended to me by a customer, and they insisted that I must try the "motsu stew". It's really delicious, with plenty of motsu and it's cheap! It's right in front of Aoto Station, so it's perfect for having a few drinks before heading home. Even if you order skewers, motsu stew, beer, and shochu highball, and have 5-6 skewers as an appetizer, it's only 3000 yen with change left. When you leave, they even come out to see you off outside the restaurant. The customer service is so good, you wouldn't think it's a chain restaurant.

After finishing swimming around 9 p.m., I usually have about an hour to spend at the facility before heading home. Normally, I would take a leisurely bath, study for exams until the last minute, or do some self-practice. However, my second son was arriving at Aoto Station around 10 p.m., so I decided to go somewhere with him. I found a cheap restaurant near the sports club that caught my interest, but I didn't have the courage to go in alone to a local bar at night. I called the restaurant, but they said they were closed for the day. As I waited for my son at the station, I noticed a restaurant right in front of me and decided to go in. It was a place similar to a "dollar store" version of a bar, with prices even cheaper than Kagaya. The menu items were around 80-100 yen, and drinks were priced at 300 yen. The place had a simple layout with a counter near the entrance and tables in the back. The staff, who seemed to be young part-timers, were friendly and welcoming. We ordered various dishes like fried chicken, black fish cake fry, croquettes, and skewers, along with cucumber, tomato, and potato salad. We also ordered horse mackerel nanban, but I still felt a bit unsatisfied as there weren't many carbohydrates. We ended up ordering more food and drinks, and the bill came to around 2500 yen for the two of us. My son treated me, and I was surprised by how cheap it was, especially after he had two drinks. The staff smiled and thanked us, inviting us to come again. It was a bright and cheerful atmosphere, and I couldn't help but think that these kinds of places are where you should go to drink, instead of spending a lot of money on dining out during the day. I had a great time with my son, but I ended up eating too much as usual. My eating habits always seem to be like this...

Exploring in front of Aoto Station, I don't usually go towards the Kawaguchi direction, so I noticed a cheap-looking shop right after getting off the station. "Grilled pork tongue for 80 yen, hmm, let's give it a try." The interior of the shop has a counter and tables in the back. As a solo customer, I sat at the counter and looked at what to drink. Draft beer is 398 yen, and sour drinks are 298 yen... Alright! Since I've been chasing cost-performance during the day, I'll go for the Senbero set. I ordered a lemon sour and a simmered dish for 280 yen. The shop seems to be run by three women. The main lady is probably in charge of grilling, and the young cute girl might be a part-timer. Now, cheers to a hard day's work with the lemon sour! Hmm, it's refreshing without being too sweet. However, it's a bit light in flavor. The simmered dish arrives, oh! It has burdock in it (Yes!). Let's dig in! Hmm... the taste is a bit lacking... even when eaten with the meat and daikon, the flavor is weak. I added some miso (presumably for the grilled pork tongue) on the table to season it. The grilled pork tongue includes heart, liver, skin, and bonjiri seasoned with salt. It's nice that you can order each one separately. The skewers have a decent variety of grilled and fried options. I also added a highball for 298 yen. The skewers have a decent taste, not too small, and even the liver doesn't have a strong taste. The bonjiri is firm, so isn't that good? The highball is enjoyable enough with a decent strength. Well, I intended to keep it simple with the Senbero set, but I went a bit overboard. Maybe I didn't need the simmered dish. In conclusion, I rate it: ☆☆ Aoto Station area is said to have no good restaurants, but there are quite a few of these types of izakayas around. In a competitive district like this, the cost-performance is excellent, making it a good place to stop by when you're out of ideas. However, it's not the place to go to when you're looking for something special.

This is a review of the izakaya "Kaburaya Aoto" located in Aoto 1-chome, Katsushika-ku, Tokyo. The nearest station is Aoto Station on the Keisei Main Line and Keisei Oshiage Line. After finishing a hot spring bath in Aoto, I was thinking about what to eat and came across "Kaburaya." Since I was feeling hungry, I decided to have dinner here. When I entered, there was only one other customer, and I was seated at the end of the counter. I started with oolong tea and ordered black oden (daikon radish, egg, beef tendon), kushikatsu and potato fry, quail egg fry, and yakitori (thigh and green onion). The taste was consistent with the "Kaburaya Nishitokorozawa" that I introduced before, and considering the price and taste, I thought the cost performance was quite good. The only downside was the layout of the restaurant; they had too many seats crammed into the space, and even though there weren't many customers, they seated someone at the table behind me, making it feel crowded. I thought it would be better to use the space more leisurely without increasing the population density in a nearly empty restaurant. I run a blog called "Kimagure Ni Gaishoku Sanmai."

The atmosphere is lively, but the staff's customer service level is low. The kitchen staff occasionally takes orders, but their use of the terminal is unsteady. The food was delicious.

After a daytime BBQ, we headed to Aoto and made a quick stop. We had barley tea and sweet potato tea. For snacks, we enjoyed raw beef liver sashimi and black oden. It's a great casual restaurant near the station.

I moved from Nippori to Aoto. In front of Aoto station, I had a toast with draft beer at "Kaburaya," a new restaurant that opened in early 2018. The place was bustling with customers coming in one after another.

This kabura-ya (turnip dish) shop, which can be found anywhere, has quite a different atmosphere and attention to detail depending on the store. I visited this kabura-ya for the first time this time, and as far as I can remember, the atmosphere and the carefulness of the dishes seemed to be the best compared to other stores I have been to. I remember that other stores tended to overcook the dishes, so I plan to visit this place next time.
