I have been to other branches before, but this was my first time at the Omotesando branch, so I decided to come here today. I arrived right at the opening time of 5:30 pm on a weekday. The restaurant has a glass interior and it is still bright outside. I ordered the seasonal tasting course with fillet steak. The first dish was sea urchin with shrimp inside. It was creamy and delicious. The second dish was red beef, cooked over charcoal and sliced in front of me, served with flower pepper. The third dish was a cold corn soup, perfectly sweet and not too heavy. The fourth dish was salt-grilled sea bass with a tasty sauce. The fifth dish was fillet steak cooked medium rare, tender and tasty. The sixth dish was garlic rice, miso soup, and pickles. The garlic rice was made in front of me, but I felt it could use a bit more seasoning. The miso soup was rich and flavorful. The counter seats were full after 6 pm. For dessert, I had a Basque cheesecake in a separate room. It had a nice balance of tartness and sweetness. Overall, it was a delicious meal. Thank you for the feast!

It was my second time here! Everything was delicious! I was in the mood for abalone recently, so I was happy to have it. The third dish was a large eggplant! It was delicious with tomatoes, cheese, and an Italian touch. The cold pumpkin soup was a taste of autumn. I'm happy to be full from lunch. We only drank a lot, so it was about ¥35,000 per person!

I went to a teppanyaki restaurant after a long time, and the wagyu beef was truly delicious. This time, I had sirloin, and the fat was incredibly tasty. The lobster and baby corn were also amazing. I will definitely come back again. Next time, I think I'll try the filet.

I have never been to various places before, but I had my first meal at Ukai-tei in Omotesando this time. Even though it's on the 5th floor, there are no tall buildings around, so the night view was very beautiful. The service was also attentive and I was very satisfied. I would like to try other Ukai-tei locations as well.

The food is always delicious, I really love Ukai-san's cooking. I get excited right from the start because the dishes are always to my liking! Just seeing the ingredients used already gets me super excited. On this day, the dish that combined shrimp and caviar was so refreshing and delightful, the saltiness of the caviar was irresistible. Starting with that dish, I felt like bringing out some champagne! The beef carpaccio with juicy melon was not only tasty but also had a wonderful aroma. The dish with plenty of truffles and the lobster sauce were both rich and luxurious. The pumpkin soup was also made with plenty of butter. I was torn between the somen noodles and eel rice for the main dish, but they kindly served both. The dessert in the photo is for two people. I am satisfied because they always cater to my preferences.

I finally managed to visit the Omotesando branch of this restaurant, which is known for being difficult to book a reservation at. The seating was at the counter, but the proximity to the neighboring diners was too close for comfort, making it not ideal for a date. The view was great due to the good weather. As expected from this restaurant chain, the food was excellent. Each dish was meticulously prepared and beautifully presented, and all of them were delicious. Normally, I would request a specific chef, but this time I didn't, hoping to enjoy the conversation and little anecdotes that come with French teppanyaki. However, it seemed that the staff was busy, or perhaps it was just this particular branch, as different people served each course and there wasn't much interaction. It was a bit disappointing, and I left feeling that I should have stuck with my usual chef at a different branch.

It had been a while since I last visited, but the restaurant still had the same delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. Although they had raised their prices since my last visit, I was very satisfied with the taste. However, the attitude of the new manager who is said to be taking over made me feel uneasy, so I plan to visit the Ginza branch where the old manager has been relocated next time. I had been to the Ginza branch once before, and there were many accompanying guests and what seemed like regular customers, and the atmosphere was too chic for my liking. It's a given that high-end restaurants have delicious food, so I want to choose a restaurant based on the skills of the manager and staff.

Today I visited Ukai-tei in Omotesando. I chose the Fillet Steak from the seasonal tasting course. I have been really into fillet steak lately. The meat is from the rare breed of Akagyu. I started with Uni, which had plump shrimp inside. It was nice to be able to eat steak with chopsticks. The shiitake mushrooms on the side are seasoned with Sansho pepper. The cold corn soup was rich and sweet. While enjoying the soup, the fish dish was being prepared. Sea bass wrapped in shiso leaves and salt-steamed was served. The refreshing sauce with Manjutogarashi did not overpower the natural flavor of the sea bass. There was eggplant in the middle of the sea bass. I dipped the leftover sauce on the freshly baked bread and was amazed by the new flavor. Finally, the main meat dish arrived. The medium rare fillet steak was served with soy-marinated horseradish, crispy garlic chips, raw sansho, or salted kelp broth. The sliced new onions were served as a palate cleanser. And of course, we ended with the classic garlic rice. I have been to Ukai-tei many times, but it continues to evolve.

Steak restaurant in Omotesando. Located within a 5-minute walk from Omotesando Station. One of the top 100 steak restaurants in 2022. Visited by making a reservation at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Used for celebrating a companion's birthday. Many overseas visitors around. The restaurant is on the 5th floor of a building, not a very high floor, but you can enjoy a view of Omotesando. Today, I had the Omotesando Special (29,700 yen). The course menu is as follows. First, I was shown the ingredients for today. Abalone, hairy crab, fresh vegetables, A5 Wagyu beef, and more luxurious ingredients lined up. Exciting! ✔︎ Hairy Crab and Caviar The first dish was luxurious ingredients, hairy crab and caviar. Served with seasonal vegetables. Enjoyed the hairy crab with lemon and cocktail sauce. The caviar had gold flakes on top and plenty of crab meat below. ✔︎ Cutlassfish and Eggplant Next was grilled cutlassfish. It was fatty and had a taste similar to eel. The cutlassfish was about 1 meter long and as thick as 5 fingers. The eggplant was Kuze eggplant from Kyoto. ✔︎ Seasonal Soup A seasonal cold soup made from fava beans. It was so rich it could be called a food soup. ✔︎ Abalone Abalone cooked in salt kettle. Covered with seaweed during cooking, mixed with liver sauce, and served with butter sauce with clams and clams, and nori. The sauce was rich and excellent. ✔︎ Palate Cleanser Before the main dish, we had Horita tomato. The clear liquid was not ice water but tomato juice and tomato juice sherbet. ✔︎ Main Dish The main dish was A5 black Wagyu sirloin. Served with wasabi, black pepper, onion, white six pieces (garlic) chips. ✔︎ Meal The meal was finished with garlic rice. The garlic rice was simple but delicious. Served with red miso soup and pickles. ✔︎ Dessert For dessert, we moved to a separate dessert room to immerse ourselves in the aftertaste, which is a consistent service at Teppanyaki Ukai-tei. We could choose from several desserts, but we chose melon chiffon cake to finish. We requested an anniversary message, but instead of a message plate, they showed us the message on an electronic device with a music box and prepared a rose. It was nice to have the flower, but the feeling of being shown the message on a device felt a bit cheap. Also, I felt a bit uncomfortable with being asked for feedback a lot in the dessert room. Overall, there were some minor points of concern in the latter half, but the quality of ingredients, cooking, lively atmosphere, and hospitality were consistent, making it a reliable restaurant. Ukai-tei is a place you can use with confidence during events. It was my first visit to the Omotesando branch, and it was also good. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

On May 20, 2023 (Saturday) at 7:00 PM, I visited a high-class teppanyaki restaurant near Omotesando Station with a reservation for 5 people to celebrate an acquaintance's special occasion. This was my first time visiting this type of restaurant and I must admit I don't have much confidence in commenting on it... haha - Store Features - The restaurant has counter seats and private rooms. - Payment is order-based and credit cards are accepted for payment. - The restaurant is mainly used for entertaining and celebrations. - Order Details - Omotesando Special Course / ¥34,100 - Early summer: hairy crab with caviar - Grilled beltfish - Seasonal soup (fava bean soup) at Ukai-tei - Steamed abalone with rock salt - Cold Horita tomato - Premium beef fillet - Ending meal (garlic rice) - Dessert (chiffon cake) Hairy crab, abalone, beef fillet... what luxurious ingredients! To be honest, everything was incredibly delicious. It was so delicious that I have nothing to say (haha). If I had to pick one, I was particularly impressed by the abalone! The fresh abalone steak steamed with rock salt, combined with the richness and umami of the liver sauce, was amazing! (This was the most delicious abalone I've ever had!!) From the ending rice to the dessert, everything was delicious, and by the end, I was quite full. The attentive and courteous customer service was also impressive. It was an ultimate blissful time where both the heart and body were fully satisfied! - Overall Evaluation Including drinks and service charge, the total bill was around ¥220,000. Considering it as ¥45,000 per person, it felt more affordable than expected. This was my first visit to a high-class restaurant in a while, and I was very satisfied with the experience. The dishes were all delicious, and the service was impeccable. I definitely want to visit again in the future! (Well, it may be difficult to go frequently... haha) Occasional luxury is a good thing indeed! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Every year, we visit this restaurant with our family around this time. This year, we noticed that the dishes have changed quite a bit compared to previous years. I visited this restaurant for the first time for a business dinner. I had been curious about it for a while, and I must say, everything from the atmosphere, service, to the taste was top-notch. The restaurant truly lives up to its name as a king among restaurants. Starting from the caviar, to the soup, salad, seafood, steak, and finishing with dessert in a separate room, everything was satisfying. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.
