In Machida City, there is a direct sales store for rice crackers called Ebisenbei Isshikiya Machida Store! They handle products from Isshikiya, a specialty product of Ebisenbei in Gamagori City, Aichi Prefecture. They have various types of rice crackers lined up, and I bought a small pack to go with beer! Prices range from 150 yen, so it's easy to buy. The squid and shrimp flavor is a great match with beer, with a sweet sauce that goes well together. The design on the surface is cute and the flavor is good, thin and crispy with a satisfying crunch. I finished it in no time!

Turn left at the Mitsuka intersection from Machida Street and enter Naruse Street. After a while, you will see a sign for shrimp senbei on your left. It is a small shop, so be sure not to miss it. There is some traffic along Naruse Street, but there is a parking lot just ahead of the shop, so it is okay to go by car. Inside the shop, there are various shrimp senbei displayed. There are many types to choose from, but don't worry as there are samples of the main flavors available for tasting. Also, buying a set of 3 bags is a good deal. This time, I bought a set of 3 smaller bags for 700 yen. The mix type has various flavors and is quite enjoyable.

I sometimes use this place, so I would like to introduce it. It's hard to explain the location, but if you turn from Machida Kaido to Naruse Kaido and drive for 1-2 minutes, you will find it on the left side of the road. It's a small shop with 50 types of snacks, but I always buy the same thing - "garlic senbei" plus something extra. This garlic senbei goes really well with ice-cold beer and once you try it, you won't forget the taste. It's incredibly delicious, but be careful not to eat too much as the smell can linger until the next day and affect your work. It's a chain store, so if there is one near you, definitely try it out. It will give you a power boost. The first photo was taken with a DSLR, the rest with a mobile phone.
