I always struggle with where to buy my afternoon snack, but I found a good place nearby. This shop has a great selection of desserts, especially cup desserts. It seems like many of the office ladies use this shop. Today, I had a canelé and it was very refreshing.

At 7:00 p.m. on a weekday, I passed by a Singapore Fair after work and decided to stop by. I ended up buying the following items: - Laksa (459 yen) - Singapore-style cashew nuts (590 yen) I missed out on trying Laksa during my trip last year, so I was curious to taste it. It was delicious, with rice noodles in a coconut soup. The cashew nuts were flavored like the local specialty dish, chili crab. The sweet and spicy chili sauce paired well with the cashew nuts, making it another tasty treat.

I was impressed by the deliciousness of the famous castella from the store called Goso Yakushi in the past. I happened to find Goso Yakushi at a Seijo Ishii store. I thought Goso Yakushi was the name of the product, but it turns out it's the ratio of ingredients. It was quite reasonable at 1200 yen, so I bought it immediately. When I opened it, it was already cut. I'm happy when it's pre-cut because cutting it myself can make it crumbly or squished. When I took a bite, it was moist and had a rich egg flavor. I wasn't a big fan of castella before, but now I'm hooked. If you're going to buy castella, I recommend Goso Yakushi! Thank you for the meal! ✨

Located on the second floor of OOTEMORI, directly connected to Otemachi Station, is Seijo Ishii. Unlike other stores, this is a new concept store with the name EPICERIE BONHEUR attached (which means "grocery store of happiness" in French). The target audience is women in their 20s and 30s, and although the store is not very large, it offers a wide selection of homemade deli, handmade side dishes, and teas. No wonder there are so many female customers here (laughs). OOTEMORI Premium Cheesecake Otemachi store offers a limited edition premium cheesecake. It is adorned with apricots, cranberries, and raspberry-flavored ganache, making it elegant. The rich flavor of the cheesecake blends well with the concentrated red fruit flavors. I came here looking for cheese that goes well with wine. This cheese set offers a variety of cheeses to enjoy. I tried it with white wine first. Hmm, delicious. Let's try it with red wine. This is irresistible. I could drink it endlessly... The richness of the cheese is amazing! Thank you Gouda, Colby, Cheddar, Herb, and Smoke. It was delicious. Thank you for the feast!

On my way back from Hibiya, I casually stopped by Otemachi. It's tucked away in the back of the restaurant district in the building, so you might miss it if you don't know it's there. (I actually couldn't find it until I got close.) I've always liked Seijo Ishii, but I became a big fan after discovering they have a variety of craft beers. Feeling thirsty, I got Seijo Ishii's original Rooibos Ginger Chamomile Tea and Okinawa Saison for a drink later (lol). For snacks, I picked up Enshu-ya's Amazake Pudding and my favorite Fiorecchi Prosciutto. Fiorecchi Prosciutto is just right in saltiness and I've probably bought it countless times. It's a bit pricey, but I treat myself to it occasionally as a reward.

I love dried apricots and have been enjoying various kinds for nearly 8 years. The Deluxe Apricots sold at Seijo Ishii are among the best I've tried, competing for the top spot with another brand sold at Isetan Shinjuku. These apricots are slightly crushed, sugar-free, and offer a balance of sourness and natural sweetness. I like the firm skin, soft flesh, and slight hint of moisture. If you enjoy this type of dried fruit, I highly recommend trying them. I also tried the green plum jelly sold during the summer, which was delicious. I bought some dried apples as well, which were a bit too sweet for my liking. I prefer the Fruit Navi brand for a more balanced sweetness. I found some apricots without preservatives or artificial coloring and bought them. They have a slight bitterness, similar to prunes or dried figs. Once you get used to the taste, they are quite satisfying and delicious, but the Deluxe Apricots are still my favorite! I purchased a tiramisu with chocolate coating as a souvenir, and my companion really enjoyed it. It was large and cost around 600 yen. The coffee flavor was just right and easy to eat.

It's a bit pricey, but Seijo Ishii has a variety of products and it's always fun just to look around. The store is stylish. I bought the homemade baked donuts - plain (¥162) and the half-priced French wheat mini chapata - 5 pieces (¥279→¥139). Baked donuts - fluffy texture with a good buttery flavor, simple yet delicious donuts. They're not greasy, which is nice. Mini chapata - it feels a bit lacking on its own, but when you spread margarine on it, it becomes a great accompaniment to wine.

Located in the underground commercial zone of OOTEMORI in Otemachi Tower is Seijo Ishii. With over 100 stores nationwide, this particular store offers premium items! I got the special edition OOTEMORI Premium Cheesecake (821 yen), a famous item. In addition to the regular cheesecake, it is topped with dried cranberries and apricots, adding a touch of elegance. The combination of these dried fruits and rich cheesecake is excellent, and I think it goes well with both tea and coffee. It's a bit sad that there is no Seijo Ishii in my hometown of Hokkaido, but I would love to try the normal version again if I have the chance. Thank you for the delicious meal! ♬

The Seijo Ishii store in OOTEMORI is a great place for a slightly fancy lunch and to buy small items. During Valentine's season, they have various chocolates available, but they also sell mini versions of popular chocolate bars from Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, etc., packaged in bags and called "Napolitan Chocolate". I recently got a pack of Belgian Daskalides chocolate, which includes three types of dark chocolate: orange, raspberry, and extra dark. The orange and raspberry flavors go well with dark chocolate and pair nicely with coffee too.

I was on my way to catch the Marunouchi Line at Otemachi Station when I heard about a coffee shop where you can get a take-out coffee for only 150 yen! I was intrigued and decided to stop by. Apparently, if you use the app, you can even get it for 100 yen. It seems that Seijo Ishii has started a café as well. It's not just a convenience store. The location seems convenient with many office workers around. They use Fair Trade coffee beans, as indicated by the sign. I purchased a hot coffee for 150 yen as advertised. When I tried it, it was actually quite delicious. I didn't really notice any particular acidity or bitterness, but it was a very easy-to-drink coffee. For the price of 150 yen, I was quite satisfied with the taste. ^^/

I transfer from the Marunouchi Line to the Tozai Line and there is a store with the name "Seijo Ishii" written on it. They have products that regular supermarkets don't carry, which makes shopping here fun. I especially love their cheese selection! As someone who enjoys cheese, I have visited this store several times. They offer cheese sets, great deals on cheese, and more. The staff are always friendly and helpful, which I appreciate. If you go late, you might find discounted items displayed outside, which is always interesting. This time, I bought a Cheese Collection Assortment. It includes various cheeses like Colby Jack, Parmigiano, Red Cheddar, Smoked Cheese, and Parmesan. The individual packaging keeps them fresh, and the price is reasonable at less than ¥1000. If you're a cheese lover, this assortment is a must-try!

*** April 2015 Matcha-flavored Cheesecake *** This season, they had a matcha-flavored cheesecake available. The crumbly topping has a slight sugary crunch to it. Inside, there are a few red beans. It's a dense cheesecake as usual. I'm more satisfied with it than from other cake shops. Some might wonder if matcha and cheesecake go well together. At first, the acidity is a bit strong, making you go "hmm?" But then the tea flavor comes through and it's not bad. If you're not careful, you might end up finishing it in one go. *** February 2015 Homemade Comfort Curry Roux *** Lately, my favorite find at Seijo Ishii is the Homemade Comfort Curry Roux. It says, "No chemical seasonings used, and no animal-derived ingredients, so even vegetarians can enjoy it." I tried it and the taste is rich, you wouldn't even notice it's for vegetarians. The aroma is really nice too. Maybe because it doesn't contain animal products, I didn't feel heavy after eating it, and the pot was easier to clean afterwards. This might become a new favorite item for me. *** November 2014 100 Yen Coffee and Ootemori Cheesecake *** I often use this shop because it's near the Tozai Line ticket gate. It's enjoyable just looking around without buying anything. The colorful displays lift your spirits. It's called "Epicerie Bonheur Seijo Ishii." Unlike the regular Seijo Ishii, they also offer drip coffee for business people. With the app, you can get a tax-included coffee for 100 yen. I prefer a strong coffee in the morning, so this is perfect for me. Even at regular price, it's not much different from convenience stores, and since it's handed to you directly, I'll probably continue using this. By the way, their original "Ootemori Cheesecake" has various dried fruits in it, looks pretty but I didn't like the taste. I prefer the regular cheesecake or the seasonal strawberry or orange cheesecakes from other shops.

[5th Post] This time, I visited to purchase snacks to enjoy with my wife. The store had a wide variety of delicious looking items. After some deliberation, we decided on the following two dishes: 1) Nuts Yannnyom Chicken - A dish topped with plenty of sweet and savory Yannnyom. It was delicious and had a good amount of volume. 2) Asparagus Penne Arrabbiata - The spiciness was moderate and the presence of asparagus was a bit subtle. The seasoning paired well with wine. Truly a top-notch selection shop in Japan. The quality of their side dishes is truly remarkable. Thank you for the meal. [4th Post] Once again, I tried the store's limited edition Premium Cheesecake. It featured plenty of apricots and cranberries on top of the cheesecake that is a pride of Seijo Ishii. The sweet and sour taste of this limited edition cheesecake was addictive. I will definitely purchase it regularly. Thank you for the meal. [3rd Post] I tried the popular Premium Cheesecake from Seijo Ishii. This time, I heard there was a limited edition version at the Ootemori store, so I bought it right away. The cheesecake had a rich texture with dried fruits like apricots and raisins on top, along with chocolate sauce. The taste of the cheesecake itself was "nothing special," but for some reason, it was irresistibly delicious. This is probably why it's a specialty of the store. Despite its large size, the dried fruits and chocolate sauce added a nice touch, and my wife and I enjoyed it in three servings. Thank you for the meal. [2nd Post] This time, I had a 150 yen espresso. The espresso extracted from a large espresso machine surprised me with its richness when I took a sip. It made my morning commute to Otemachi more enjoyable. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal. [1st Post] This time, not with my wife but alone, I visited the newly opened Seijo Ishii store in Otemachi. This store has a coffee corner for takeout, so I decided to try their Excellent Coffee for 150 yen. Despite its low price, the coffee was surprisingly delicious and had a good depth of flavor. Seijo Ishii seems to be a perfect fit for the bustling business district of Otemachi. I think it's a very convenient store. Thank you for the meal.

EPICERIE BONHEUR Seijo Ishii Otemachi Store ★ OOTEMORI Date: October 11, 2013 (Friday) Theme: Sweets When I visited OOTEMORI, I went shopping at EPICERIE BONHEUR Seijo Ishii, a highly anticipated grocery store newly launched by "Seijo Ishii." It happened to be the opening day, so there were tastings and it was bustling at the entrance. I couldn't resist going in (laughs). I tried the PASTRY EPICERIE, a store-exclusive at the Otemachi store, and it was delicious, so I bought some for my grandma's souvenir. My son Ken also enjoyed it while saying it was delicious. I might buy it again when transferring at Otemachi. I also bought the Basil Seed Drink Honey shown in the top image, and the Coconut Pineapple shown in the bottom image, both of which were delicious.

When I have to work late, I sometimes buy a bento box from Seijo Ishii. My favorite is the mackerel bento, but they didn't have it, so I got the sea bream rice bowl and tofu hamburger bento. It's healthy, light, and delicious. I'm not a fan of fish bento, but I can eat it from Seijo Ishii. The simmered dishes are also tasty. It's a little small, but costs 539 yen, and if it's late, it's about 20% off. I get change back from a 1000 yen bill.

When transferring from the Marunouchi Line to the Tozai Line, I always stop by Seijo Ishii. The store is not very big, but it offers luxurious products that help me relax. This time, I tried the "Truffle-scented Egg Sandwich." The truffle-scented egg was delicious, and the bread was soft and fluffy. It was so light that it practically melted in my mouth. The lightly seasoned sandwich was also delicious. It was a "Gentle Truffle-scented Egg Sandwich." Next time, I'll try a different type of sandwich. Thank you for the treat!

I used to work in Ikebukuro, so I was a user of the Marunouchi Line. When I didn't feel like going outside due to the hot or cold weather, I would use Otemori. I had been looking forward to seeing what kind of shops would open there since the construction. I would use it for pre-drinks before going out around Tokyo Station, or for lunch. When I wanted snacks for drinking at home or when I wanted to feel fancy (buying high-end drinks), I would stop by Seijo Ishii. I stopped by Otemachi Station after a long time, and of course I wandered into Otemori, then purchased an iced cafe latte from Seijo Ishii. It's a self-service machine like a convenience store. There's a THERMOS COFFEE TOGO right near Seijo Ishii, but this was much more convenient. It was also cheaper. It's a bitter coffee with creamy milk. I like delicious coffee from specialty shops as well, but I have a simple taste so I was satisfied with this one.

I was happy to find a variety of herbal teas that I was looking for. It was my first time passing by, and they had even some rare kinds that I usually can't find. After much deliberation, I selected four types and made a purchase. I tried the Bengal Tiger Spice Tea, which was made with a lot of milk. Just by looking at the ingredients, I could tell it was going to be delicious. This tea seems like a must-have for the cold season, and I think it will become a favorite for the upcoming season with air conditioning. The sweet aroma is addictive.
