I casually explored Harumi Triton Square for lunch today. Exiting from Exit A2b of Toei Subway Oedo Line Kachidoki Station, turn right on the ground to reach Kiyosumi Street on the right and Harumi Street ahead. Walk along Harumi Street towards Harumi for a while until you reach a bridge with a moving walkway. Cross the bridge with the moving walkway, continue straight for a bit, then look to your left to find an escalator leading up to the second floor of Harumi Triton Square. Take the escalator up to the second floor, enter the entrance, and proceed diagonally to the right. You will find another escalator leading up to the third floor. Take the escalator to the third floor, continue straight, then descend a few steps of stairs where you will see a sign on a pillar. Follow the sign to the right, according to the instructions, and you will find "Katsu Kobo Wakou Harumi Triton Store" where I visited today on the left. I entered the store at 12:30 on a weekday. The store was quite busy with around 70% occupancy. I was guided to a table by a female staff member after waiting a bit at the entrance. Looking at the menu, they offered lunch sets such as Katsu Kobo Lunch Set for 1,050 yen, Double Katsu Kobo Lunch Set for 1,350 yen, Bite-sized Fillet Cutlet Set for 1,250 yen, Pork Cutlet Bowl for 1,150 yen, Fillet Cutlet Bowl for 1,050 yen, Assorted Set "Hana" for 1,580 yen, and Assorted Set "Hagi" for 1,080 yen. Feeling hungry, I decided to order the "Double Katsu Kobo Lunch Set" with two pork cutlets. After a 10-minute wait, the set was served. The set included two pork cutlets, cabbage and parsley, rice, miso soup, and pickles. I wanted to enjoy the pork cutlets fully, so I started by eating them with the sauce. The pork cutlets were juicy with a crispy coating, providing a delightful contrast in textures. One of the highlights of "Wakou" is the crispy coating, achieved through deep-frying with good oil and coarse breadcrumbs. I love the crispy texture and juiciness of the meat, which is why I come here for their tonkatsu. I finished one pork cutlet, had a refill of rice and cabbage, enjoyed the pickles with the remaining pork cutlet, and finished with the miso soup. Today, I devoured two delicious pork cutlets unique to "Wakou" and left the restaurant satisfied. Thank you for the meal.
