I decided to go back to what is commonly known as "Mos Burger" after a long time. Lately, Mos Burger has been offering a lot of Teriyaki Burgers or the Nata de Coco series. I wanted to try the unique meat sauce from Mos Burger again. This particular store is located at the north exit of JR Otsuka Station. From what I remember vaguely, I believe this store was established around 15 to 16 years ago. Across the street, there used to be an am.pm convenience store, and next to it, there was a McDonald's and an Aoi Bookstore. This time coincides with when I used to work frequently in Otsuka. Until recently, due to the impact of the coronavirus, they were only offering take-out, but they have finally allowed dining inside the restaurant. However, the seating arrangement is still spaced out. I ordered a "Double Moss Cheese" (530 yen) with a "Whole Lemon Ginger Ale" (499 yen) as shown in the photo. The Double Moss Cheese has double the patties compared to the Moss Cheese Burger. Of course, this enhances the meatiness, but if you want to enjoy the cheese more, I recommend the regular Moss Cheese Burger. For me, the highlight of Moss Burger is the unique meat sauce that elevates the burger experience. It's just delicious. Moss Burger is often criticized for being "difficult to eat." One of the reasons for this is the meat sauce that doesn't stay in place. I have studied this extensively through delivery and take-out, so I am confident in eating it cleanly. The trick is to fold the corners of the burger wrapping paper neatly to prevent the sauce from spilling. However, some sauce may still seep into the corners, so I tear off a piece of bun to keep it and use it to wipe the inside of the wrapping paper at the end. While eating delivery, I tend to lick it because there are no other people around, but this is the result of my research during dining out. It's not a big deal, just a desire to savor every bit of the meat sauce. The "Whole Lemon" may sound exaggerated, but when combined with the cut lemon, it feels like there is more than just a whole lemon in it. By sipping through the straw while poking the lemon, you can adjust the lemon flavor to your liking. The Double Moss Cheese and Whole Lemon were delicious. Thank you for the meal.
