Oh, when I get drunk, I always crave ice cream. Lately, the convenience store ice creams are quite expensive. I was looking for a good deal and ended up buying this product - Shimauma Uma Uma Bar! The packaging and name caught my attention so I decided to try it. Upon tasting it, I found that it's more chocolaty than icy, with a crunchy texture and bits of ice cream here and there. It's surprisingly refreshing for a chocolate ice cream. It's labeled as ice milk, so it's not very rich. When I looked at the bottom of the package, it said "This product does not contain any zebras." Well, that's obvious! It made me chuckle and I couldn't help but laugh at myself. Lately, life has been a bit gloomy, so these little moments of silliness are truly appreciated.

I stopped by this Seven Eleven on my way to work, just a little off from the usual route. There were some signs on the telephone poles on Sasame Street guiding me here. This time, I tried the Sausage France with aged dough for 180 yen. For my drink, I chose Kirin's Mets Lychee flavor. It's said to have aged dough, but I was more concerned about the hardness of the French bread. It's soft French bread, but still quite hard. The Mets Lychee has no fruit juice, but it has a strong lychee taste. It's well made. But it's a bit scary that they can achieve a lychee flavor without using any fruit juice. Near Hotel Cadence Tokyo, there is a new Seven Eleven with a smoothie machine! Although they are not widely available yet, it seems like they are slowly increasing. I purchased the ripe banana juice with soy milk and the mango smoothie, both of which were delicious! You scan the barcode on the product you purchase from the dedicated machine to set it up.
