This is my second visit to this restaurant, as my husband really liked it during our first visit and requested to celebrate his birthday here. The reservation was made by him for a Saturday evening within the same month, at 7:30 pm. We were seated next to where we sat last time, with a narrow aisle behind us at the counter. The same female chef as last time was taking care of us. We started with Oolong tea. The meal consisted of various dishes including clam soup, mackerel from Hagi, seaweed, scallops with real wasabi from Amagi, fresh tuna from Canada, tofu skin from Tochigi, winter flounder, cod roe with wasabi, white shrimp from Toyama, seasonal Kyoto vegetables, chawanmushi, saury from Saga, monkfish liver, shirako, a specialty dish of enoki mushrooms with kelp from Manten, yellowtail from Hokkaido, salmon roe, sea urchin, pickled burdock, fatty tuna from Canada, toro with onions, clam soup, simmered anago, omelette, and kampyo. The meal ended with grapes. We thought it was over after 25 dishes, but the chef surprised us with two more dishes, making it a total of 27. The white shrimp, surprise dish of yellowtail with radish, and simmered anago were particularly delicious. The chef remembered us from our previous visit and the drinks were served without us having to order them, just like last time. The price was the same as before, and we felt satisfied and impressed by the quality and service. We are already looking forward to our next visit with my mother-in-law. My husband mentioned that he had a different experience at the Hibiya branch of this restaurant in December, where the service and quality were not as good as at the Nihonbashi branch.

I want to discover a nearby sushi restaurant with a good cost performance, so I have been visiting various places recently. This time, I visited this place for the first time after seeing good reviews on YouTube. Nihonbashi is a familiar town for me as I often shop at Mitsukoshi and Coredo. I made a reservation online about half a month ago. The seat I was shown was indeed a narrow counter as rumored. The restaurant was lively and full on a Friday evening. About half of the customers were from overseas. The variety, quantity, freshness, quality, and balance were just right. I was served at a good pace, so there was no long wait and I had a comfortable stay of about 1.5 hours without getting bored. The female staff was also very polite. Personally, I am satisfied when sushi is served at a good pace. Course x2, beer x2, non-alcoholic drink x1, barley shochu x3, total 18,392 yen. The cost performance, location, customer service, and quality are excellent. However, since the counter seats are close to each other, it might be tough if you end up next to someone rude. Their conversation may intrude on your space. In addition to the photos, we were served edamame, crunchy pickles, cod roe with wasabi, seaweed salad, yuba tofu, tamagoyaki, and Kyoho grapes. Overall, the balance was great and I was very satisfied. I would like to visit for lunch next time.

I tried to visit Okuroji store for two consecutive weeks, but they were fully booked and I couldn't get in. When I contacted the Nihonbashi store, they said they had availability for the same day, so I went there for the first time in a while. It was nice to be able to chat in a private room and everything I ate was delicious.

On Wednesday night, I visited "Manten Sushi Nihonbashi" located in Coredo Muromachi 2 in Nihonbashi for dinner. This restaurant is part of the same group as "Sushi Ten" in Nishi-Azabu, and it is a popular sushi restaurant with branches in Nihonbashi, Marunouchi, and Hibiya Okuroji. It was selected as one of the top 100 sushi restaurants in 2021. The main offering is an omakase course, and you can enjoy the omakase course for 7700 yen even in the evening, making it a great value sushi restaurant. I made a reservation about a week in advance and visited the restaurant right at the opening time of 5:00 PM. The course I had included clam soup, various kinds of sashimi, scallop, abalone, shrimp, sea bream, crab, sea urchin, and many other delicious dishes. The quality of the food matched with the price, and I enjoyed the meal with some sake and lemon sour. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I would love to visit their other branches in the future.

Course 7700+ sake, around 10000 yen per person for 4 people at the table. The portion was as expected, enough to make even an average adult man full. The grilled beltfish and sea urchin were particularly delicious. The beltfish was the first dish served and it had a perfect amount of fatty goodness, making it an ideal starter for someone with a big appetite. The sea urchin was also excellent, with no fishy smell and a generous amount for hand-rolled sushi. The alcohol selection was good, with beer, highball, shochu, and sake available at reasonable prices. The service speed was just right, but the 3 rotations at 17, 19, and 21 o'clock made the end of the meal feel a bit rushed. It's important to be aware of the time limit and plan accordingly, as the turnover rate is crucial for cost-effectiveness. Reservations can be easily made through the table check system, as long as you don't need a private room. Other branches may also have availability, so it's worth checking out.

This time, we used the Nihonbashi store. When we made a reservation for three people, we were guided to a private room, where we enjoyed leisurely conversation and food. The variety of dishes seemed to have increased a bit, and the menu is attached in the image. I asked for less rice, but I ended up feeling full, so I had my family help me out a bit. The air conditioning was initially too strong and cold, but when I mentioned it, they promptly adjusted it. I would like to come back again. Thank you for the meal.

I finally managed to make a reservation at this restaurant for the first time. I had been to other branches before and the food was delicious, so this time I tried the Nihonbashi branch. It was equally delicious. This place has the best cost performance among all the sushi I have ever eaten! Reservations can be easily made online, but because it is quite popular, it's better to make a reservation early.

A friend who was temporarily returning from Mexico managed to make a last-minute reservation for a restaurant at 21:00, as the 19:00 slot was fully booked. The restaurant has branches in Marunouchi and Hibiya, both of which were also fully booked. Finally got to visit this restaurant that I had wanted to go to for years! After enjoying the Nihonbashi immersive museum and having a drink at Mandarin Bar, I headed to the restaurant. There is no entrance inside COREDO, only an entrance facing the outside. You could tell from outside that the restaurant was packed. Maybe it's featured in foreign guidebooks? About 90% of the counter seats were occupied by foreigners. The gentleman next to me, a Singaporean businessman dining alone, looked fantastic in his sushi attire (although it was a bit of a minus that he was constantly on his phone messaging someone from his home country). The omakase course for 7,700 yen was truly worth it in terms of cost-performance and quality. No wonder it's so hard to get a reservation. I was completely satisfied. Both the appetizers and sushi were delicious. The staff were attentive and flexible with my requests. They even chatted with me, shared some recipes, and made the night enjoyable. There are also table seats for four, but I recommend sitting at the counter. I regret not being able to finish everything due to being too full. Next time, I'll start with smaller portions of sushi. There were several highlights, but the clear winner was the clam broth served as an appetizer. The visually appealing uni wrapped in seaweed handed directly by the chef was also a standout. Other favorites included the mini ikura bowl, the generous portion of king crab in the chawanmushi, marinated tuna, a clam soup overflowing with clams, and watermelon for dessert! I've already made my next reservation. I hope to bring my parents someday. Since the counter seating is close together, it might be better for elderly people. The lack of a restroom inside the restaurant should be a downside, but I was so engrossed in the sushi parade that I didn't need to go to the restroom even once in two hours. In conclusion, no issues at all. This beloved restaurant has made it onto my list ☺️

The cost performance of Manten Sushi is amazing, isn't it? I visited Marunouchi and Hibiya before, and this time, for the third visit, I decided last minute and couldn't make a reservation, so I went to Nihonbashi. As you can see from the photos, the lineup for the 7,700 yen omakase course per person is incredible! There is no alcohol menu, but if you tell the chef what you want to drink, they will suggest options and serve it to you. My partner loves sushi, while I'm not that into it, but I always think Manten Sushi is so delicious that I want to visit multiple times. It's a wonderful space where you can enjoy delicious sushi and drinks in a slightly more luxurious setting than usual, without trying too hard to be fancy with creative sushi and other side dishes!

We made a reservation the day before and found an opening at 13:30, so two of us visited for the first time. We had the chef's choice menu for 7700 yen, and had to finish by 15:00, so we had to eat quite quickly. We had three glasses of draft beer and two bottles of sake for two people, but honestly, sushi is best enjoyed in a more relaxed setting. The counter was too small, and having to watch the time made it quite unsettling. I prefer the rice to be a bit firmer, but the flavors of each piece were good. In total, it cost just under 20,000 yen for the two of us. Thank you for the meal. Taniguchi.

I love sushi the most in the universe! So I was taken to Manten Sushi (*≧∀≦*) I was worried that if I asked for something unusual, something weird would come out... But wow, wow, wow (((o(*゚∀゚*)o))) It was fun and delicious, my stomach was so full! And the price was reasonable for all this deliciousness ★★(☆∀☆)!! Uni, ikura, awabi, toro, and even shijimi clams, I was surprised by the variety! The staff were clear and fluent in English too! It's a wonderful place to experience the taste and atmosphere of Japan! I had a fantastic holiday eating to my heart's content for two hours ★ Thank you for the meal! (*´∀人)YATTA!

I made a reservation for a course lunch on a regular day. At the counter seats, you can enjoy freshly made sushi handed directly to you. For those who enjoy drinking alcohol, there are sashimi and pickled vegetables served intermittently, so it's not a problem. The sea urchin and salmon roe are generously piled up, so you will be completely satisfied with just one roll. I recommend this place for those who want to enjoy sushi casually at the counter.

Second visit. Looking forward to trying the seasonal dishes. The abalone, which was a favorite last time, is still on the menu. It's still tender and delicious. Impressed by the craftsmanship of the dishes, especially the shellfish and vegetables. The sea urchin and clam soup are so good that I don't want to eat them anywhere else. I reserved the omakase course for lunch. With a glass of sake, it came out to a little over 7000 yen. I recommend opting for dinner when reserving the omakase course. The lunch consisted of 22 dishes in just 90 minutes, so it felt a bit rushed. However, all the sushi pieces were large and delicious. Personally, I found the medium fatty tuna and conger eel to be exquisite. The reputation for good value is well-deserved! The restaurant is small, but the staff and master were very kind, and I had a great time. Thank you for the meal.

I visited "Manten Sushi Nihonbashi Store" located on the 1st floor of Coredo Muromachi 2 in front of Mitsukoshi. This restaurant is well known for its good cost performance in Tokyo, so many people may be familiar with it. This time, I made a reservation because my family was coming to Tokyo. Reservations start at the beginning of the month one month in advance, but the 7:00 pm slot was already full as soon as it started, so this time we visited at 5:00 pm. Reservations are required and can only be made online, so if you want to visit, be sure to make a reservation. The menu consists only of an omakase course for ¥6,480 per person, but due to the current situation, the price will increase to ¥7,700 from June 2023. Nevertheless, the quality of the food is worth the price, so I think the popularity will remain unchanged. The overall quantity and taste were delicious and satisfying. We visited with four people, and even after each person drinking 3-4 cups of alcohol, it was less than ¥10,000 per person, showing that the cost performance was excellent.
