〖⚪Hibiya Days⚪〗Hibiya OKUROJI "Grilled Shellfish Akoya Hibiya" Hibiya Days HIBIYA Days 185th day project extension 282nd day project total 522nd day (officially stationed) Fresh and high-quality shellfish and meat are cooked by craftsmen who have trained in Japanese cuisine right in front of you. You can enjoy carefully crafted dishes that bring out the umami of the ingredients, including recommended menu items purchased that day, in a calm wooden interior. We receive fresh shellfish from all over Japan every day and convey the charm of shellfish to our customers with care. The counter seats allow you to enjoy the live atmosphere unique to the open kitchen. Hibiya OKUROJI towards Shinbashi Hibiya OKUROJI towards Yurakucho Hibiya OKUROJI Today, as usual, I left the Hibiya office after 1:00 PM and headed to Hibiya OKUROJI. I pass by the front of the store on my way to work every day, just like "Sakana Yoiwai Ateniyor." I was planning to come here today (although it's a bit late now) because yesterday, I was taking photos in front of the store when a female staff member happened to come out and said, "Please come and visit us if you'd like." I replied, "I'll come tomorrow," and that's how I ended up here today (laughs). Shellfish have been consumed since the Jomon period, with shell mounds found all over the country and used as a form of currency. There is a history of the relationship between people and shellfish, and we will continue to convey the wonderfulness of shellfish to everyone. "Yamagata Prefectural Government Building Akoya Kaikan." This place holds a lot of memories for me as it was where I held a soccer toto 2003 policy briefing meeting during my first time at Toranomon (laughs). It should probably be "Ago" played by Kabuki actor Bando Tamasaburo... ~ Set meal menu ~ Sashimi set meal: Swordfish, trout, Japanese flying squid, amberjack, octopus Grilled fish set meal: Grilled silver cod with sauce Grilled shellfish fry set meal: Oysters, scallops, Koshu trout Today's miso soup: Sakura shrimp, seaweed Today's rice: Akita Komachi Warm tea welcomes you. It's already past 1:00 PM, so the "deficit lunch" is already sold out... The sashimi, grilled fish, and fry set meals offer a great deal with a variety of main dishes, but I don't want to put the restaurant in the red, so I choose the sashimi set meal. In front of me is the live kitchen where the chef featured on Instagram cooks right in front of me. Sashimi set meal Today's sashimi selection: Swordfish, trout, Japanese flying squid, amberjack, octopus Side dishes: Tofu, pickles, pickled vegetables Swordfish Trout [Furusato Tax] Trout Koshu Wine Trout Fujino Suke Comparison Set Raw sashimi Yamanashi original brand trout 2 types Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture Free shipping on Rakuten Ichiba 10,000 yen Japanese flying squid Amberjack Octopus Rice (Akita Komachi) Miso soup (Sakura shrimp, seaweed) "Yurakucho Line" has the fewest number of passengers getting on and off at a station, and there's "Grilled Shellfish Uguisu" located there. Due to its location, it seems quite intimidating and noble from the outside (laughs). I had marked it as a place to visit, but I never dreamt it was a related store... Maybe I should go to "Uguisuen" in Uguisudani after a long time... (Is that the right place?) I still want tuna in the sashimi assortment after all. I have a simple palate (laughs). Thank you for the meal.
