The most memorable dish was the Sichuan-style Mapo Tofu bubbling in a stone oven. It was outstanding with its spiciness and numbness. I heard that this Mapo Tofu is all-you-can-eat if you enter after 1 pm. I would like to go back for lunch sometime.

I wanted to have either Shredded Pork with Green Peppers or Fluffy Stir-Fried Eggs, but the weekly lunch special was Sweet and Sour Pork and Beef with Garlic Sprouts and Black Pepper Stir-Fry. So, I decided to go with the reliable Seafood Soba. It arrived in about 5 minutes and had a light salty taste, I wish it had more pepper. I wish they had pepper on the table. By the way, the soba was filled with shrimp, scallops, squid, Chinese cabbage, wood ear mushrooms, shimeji mushrooms, broccoli, bamboo shoots, and plenty of vegetables. I was very satisfied! Starting from around 13:00, they offered all-you-can-eat Mapo Tofu. It was more of a numbing spiciness rather than a strong heat. It was nice that it came with sweet almond tofu for dessert. Lunch was Ma Po Fried Rice. I think it was 1050 yen. The portion was huge, even though it was the small size. The other lunches also had quite a lot of food. The restaurant is very spacious, so even though it looks crowded around 12:15 during the building's lunch break, you can usually get in smoothly in about 5 minutes. If you go after 1:00, Ma Po Tofu is all-you-can-eat? It becomes like a soup bar.

When you feel like eating Chinese food in Tamachi, come here. There are plenty of seats so turnover is quick. This time, I ordered the weekly set meal of stir-fried eggs and meat. It was around 1,200 yen. My recommendation here is the Ankake Gomoku Yaki Soba. It's delicious.

But the mini fried rice looked like it was about two bowls of rice, and the fried chicken was about 7cm each. Unbelievable. What's going on...? Mini...? Seriously...? While thinking about this, I nibbled on the Hiyashi Chuka, ate the slightly sweet mini fried rice, and had the crispy fried chicken. The portions were huge. This place is for people who can eat a lot of rice. And the Hiyashi Chuka came with a generous egg soup and smooth almond jelly. The almond jelly was delicious without agar. If you're okay with sweet dishes and can eat a lot, I recommend this place.

The soup that came with the set meal had almost the same taste as the salt mapo tofu.
