This is a review of the sushi restaurant "Edomae Sushi Ichi" located in Morino 6-chome, Machida City, Tokyo. The nearest station is Furubuchi Station on the JR Yokohama Line. It is also relatively close to Machida Station on the Odakyu Odawara Line and JR Yokohama Line. I visited "Edomae Sushi Ichi" for lunch. I had work in the Machida area that day, and I had noticed the restaurant's presence as I passed by the front of the store several times before. I took the opportunity to visit. When I opened the entrance of "Edomae Sushi Ichi" and entered the store, there were no other customers present. I sat at the counter and ordered the Special Chirashi for 2600 yen (Chirashi with nigiri +100 yen). As a service, mozuku, nanbanzuke, and firefly squid marinated in vinegar were served first. Although I don't usually eat these, I found them quite tasty. The mozuku wasn't too sour, and the nanbanzuke and firefly squid marinated in vinegar were not overly seasoned. The Special Chirashi was filled with fatty tuna (otoro and chutoro?), sea urchin, ark shell, abalone, shrimp, and tamago. I was surprised to find even abalone in it. All the toppings were delicious, especially the fatty tuna, which was exceptionally tasty. The sushi rice also paired well with the toppings, making it a very delicious Special Chirashi. I sometimes eat chirashi sushi for around 2000 yen at other restaurants, but the taste of "Edomae Sushi Ichi" was far superior. Considering the price and taste, the Special Chirashi at "Edomae Sushi Ichi" is not cheap, but the cost performance is high, and I felt satisfied. If I have the opportunity to visit "Edomae Sushi Ichi" again, I would like to try their nigiri. Thank you for the meal.

Located between Furubuchi Station and Machida Station, next to Bonbonera, is Sushi Ichii. I was feeling a bit queasy from the heat, so I was looking for a place where I could quietly enjoy some sushi. I sat at the counter and ordered the omakase for 1800 yen plus tax, totaling 1980 yen. I asked for less rice on the sushi, which was made with Koshihikari rice from Uonuma.
First, I was served a small dish of mozuku seaweed and simmered scallops, which was a nice touch. The nigiri sushi had thick slices of fish, offering a satisfying bite. The toro was particularly delicious. The sushi had a hefty feel rather than a delicate touch.
The meal also included a clam soup with a large clam and a variety of pickles, which were nice additions. Overall, the meal had many delightful touches, although it was a bit on the pricey side.

This is a common sushi restaurant in town. I have used their premium sushi takeout several times. The chef's small side dishes are also included as a bonus, and the price is reasonable. I feel that with chain restaurants, the cost ends up being about the same with drink bars and salad bars. Local sushi restaurants like this are very important. It warms my heart.
