The bento box was heavy and I enjoyed the sweet flavor. The oyakodon had more kamaboko slices than chicken. The rice was fluffy and delicious. The miso soup had tofu in it. The meat is fairly tender and doesn't have a chewy texture (*^o^*) It's a bit disappointing that even though it's from a butcher's shop, the pork flavor and sweetness are a bit weak. The stir-fried vegetables have a decent crunchy texture (^.^) Since the stir-fried vegetables are underneath the pork yakitori, the pork fat seeps into the vegetables, making it a bit oily. The saltiness is mild, and it's a bit lacking in flavor (๑・౩・๑) The simmered pork cutlet is made with loin meat and is slightly firm (^-^;) The pork flavor and sweetness are well-balanced here. The generous amount of meat and vegetable stir-fry has a good taste, and the thick pork cutlet is tender and flavorful. The sweetness of it is very appetizing! It's important to note that the rice is also delicious and sufficient in quantity. There is no salad-like side dish, but it's simple and delicious. With two main dishes, it's enough for two meals! There are plenty of stores nearby that sell bento boxes cheaper than here, but like "Niku no Maitake" in the Ame-Yoko shopping district, they offer bento boxes with the value of a meat shop. I also moved over there and found out that they were selling bento boxes at lunchtime! The bento boxes are typical of a butcher shop!! They are all around 500 yen and look voluminous and delicious. I couldn't help but buy one and take it home... ◇ Chicken Soboro Bento ◇ 500 yen ★★★☆ It's truly a butcher's "chicken soboro bento"! It's completely different from convenience store versions...!! It's really delicious... as expected, but I really thought so again. The fluffy and soft, elegantly sweet scrambled egg soboro. In the middle, there's a thick and satisfying teriyaki chicken. And a light-flavored chicken soboro that you can eat a lot of. It's simple but there's no better bento box to expect! Unlike convenience store ones, the overall taste isn't too strong, which seems really gentle and good for the body... And it's simply delicious!! If I had to say, I wanted some colorful garnish like green vegetables, but anyway, when you crave "soboro," this satisfies that craving. This makes you curious about other bento boxes. However, the amount of miso soup I got as a service was too little!! It was a small amount that ended after one sip... Did they make a mistake in serving it...? It's a tease~! However, so far, there hasn't been a disappointment with the butcher's bento boxes! I definitely want to buy them again, aiming for the time when they are sold secretly... I visited here because I wanted to have a quick lunch break while working from home. What I had: - Katsudon bento box for 600 yen I forgot to take a picture, but it also comes with a small miso soup (not instant). They also provide chopsticks and a bag, which is convenient. I think this would be appreciated by nearby office workers. The meat was thick and satisfying.
