This is a completely hidden, single-house restaurant. Only one group of customers (up to 6 people) is welcomed each day. All spaces and dishes are served exclusively for this one group of customers. The chef is an elegant elderly woman who sources ingredients from the local agricultural cooperative and creates artistic dishes. The soba noodles are homemade 28 soba. Local sake from Fukui is also served. The cost for this dining experience is 3000 yen per person. Reservations are only accepted on the 1st of each month starting at 9 a.m. Reservations are for three months in advance. Those who are able to get through on the phone are fortunate.

I had been wanting to go to a delicious restaurant that my friend recommended. I was looking forward to the day when I could finally make a reservation and go. I walked a little from the station to the restaurant (which is a normal house) and got a little lost, but a man working nearby construction kindly showed me the way. It's known as a hidden gem, isn't it? I arrived earlier than the reservation time, but the friendly hostess guided us inside. The room had a Japanese-style interior, and even though it was my first time there, I felt calm and relaxed. The hostess disappeared into the kitchen as she served the dishes, not interrupting our conversation, and brought the next dish at just the right temperature when we finished eating. The timing was perfect. Each dish was carefully prepared and delicious. I would like to go again in a different season, but it might be a bit of a challenge to make a reservation...
