The refreshing morning in Tokyo starts with breakfast at the popular bakery cafe "No.4," located about a 5-minute walk from Ichigaya Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line. Upon arriving about 15 minutes before opening time, there was already a line forming. The atmosphere is perfect for a pleasant morning, where you can enjoy from morning to dinner, with a wide variety of bread, cakes, and even pizza available in the store. The morning service hours are from 8:00 to 10:45 (last order). Orders are made through a QR code. I ordered the Brioche French Toast with Salted Whipped Cream for 1,080 yen, along with the daily cup soup (Carrot Soup) and hot coffee. The hot coffee and lovely milk pot were a perfect way to start the day. The French Toast was thick and fluffy, topped with powdered sugar like falling snow. Served with salted whipped cream and maple syrup in a charming pot. The salted whipped cream was surprisingly delicious, complementing the sweetness of the French toast. The combination of salted whipped cream and maple syrup created an exquisite taste. The Carrot Soup was rich and flavorful, with a crunchy crouton texture. The Almond Croissant for 380 yen was filled with rum raisin cream and flavorful marzipan, topped with almond cream. The Croissant made with hot water dough for 320 yen was the shop's original croissant made with special ingredients like Hokkaido wheat and Calpis fermented butter. The Honey Toast for 260 yen was a cute miniature version of regular toast, with a delightful texture and sweetness from granulated sugar and honey. The highlight was the Croissant made with fermented butter and 100% Hokkaido wheat flour. The Almond Croissant with rum raisin was particularly delicious. It exceeded expectations and left me completely satisfied. "No.4" is a fantastic restaurant for everyday yet extraordinary dining experiences. I had a wonderful and enjoyable time in the morning. Thank you for the delicious meal. - Delicious Foodie Diary

This is a bakery that is popular among the locals. The stylish space attracts fashionable people. In addition to bread, there are many other menu options available for dining in. The area outside is like a small square where locals come to walk their dogs. I wonder if people around here have breakfast by eating the bread from this shop.

It's often crowded, so I often have breakfast to go. This bread has nuts, apricots, and raisins inside, giving it a crunchy and moist texture that's enjoyable. The bread itself is dense and packed with filling. (Due to moving, I don't have plates so I'm using tissues to place it on...)

I came to a popular bakery today to get some takeout. The store was really crowded. It was around 7 PM, maybe because it was dinner time. Last time I came, there was a line for lunch, so it's true that you shouldn't underestimate a delicious bakery.

I went at 11:00 on Sunday and there were 65 groups ahead of me. I finally got in around 1:30 pm, haha. There was a Doutor nearby so I had coffee while waiting. Everyone around me was also waiting for their number 4, haha. The juicy burger and cinnamon-heavy French toast were delicious! On my way out, I bought some bread but couldn't get the croissant I wanted.

On Friday, I visited in the early evening wanting to have a quick meal. I was leaning towards the brioche French toast, but decided to keep it simple and ordered the Margherita instead, hoping for a delicious wood-fired pizza. However, the acidity of the tomato sauce seemed to overpower the sourness of the dough, and I didn't really notice the aroma from the wood-fired oven, which was a bit disappointing. The sourdough bread I bought to take home had a moist inner layer and a sour flavor, and it was delicious. I think I'll try the French toast next time.

The last place I visited was "NO.4". There was a line outside the shop, but it was for those dining in. Those buying bread could enter the shop directly. I actually stopped by "AJANTA" before, but the baguettes weren't ready, so I had them set aside and came back later. I bought a "Whole Wheat Bread (1 loaf)" for 580 yen, but it was 20% off for 464 yen. I also got a "Yudane Croissant" for 330 yen, a "Sourdough with Fruits and Nuts" for 700 yen, an "Olive Cheese" for 260 yen, a "Yudane Kitano Kaori Ciabatta" for 250 yen, and a "Baguette" for 380 yen. In total, it came to 2,384 yen (tax included), but I actually paid 2,380 yen due to a small discount. This kind of subtle service is great. The Whole Wheat Bread had a nice aroma and sweetness. The Sourdough with Fruits and Nuts had a unique taste, but was packed with fruits and nuts. Toasting it enhanced the flavor. The Baguette was a classic type. I devoured it with some vegetables. I would like to try dining in if they start accepting reservations in advance.

I visited this place wanting to eat a delicious breakfast! I arrived at 9 am on a weekday and there were 12 groups ahead of me. After waiting for about an hour, I was finally seated at a table inside the restaurant. They also had a takeout bread corner, and the smell of the bread was amazing♡ I ordered the French toast combo plate this time. I added avocado as a topping! The bacon, avocado, salad, sunny-side-up egg, and cold soup were all delicious, but the French toast was the highlight. It was incredibly fluffy and moist, and paired perfectly with butter. The French toast was soaked in the egg mixture, making it a delightful breakfast treat! It seemed like it had cinnamon and marmalade on top, which I love, so it was perfect for me♡ For those who don't like those flavors, please be aware. I definitely want to go back!

I arrived at the shop before 11 am on a weekday thinking of eating inside, but there was already a 15-group waiting. I changed my plans and decided to take out instead. I bought cheese bread, salt bread, and egg tart. The dough is very delicious with a modern chewy texture, but as I continued eating, the taste became quite heavy and salty, making my mouth very dry. It may have been the particular bread I bought. The other products in the store also look delicious and I would like to try a different bread next time.

On weekends, I infiltrated a popular spot with long lines from the morning〜I aimed to enter the store that opens at 8:00, but when I arrived at 7:45, I was already 7th in line (bitter smile). I was safely led into the store in order, and the heat was perfectly avoided! There were many tables outside, and the terrace was lively. There were many couples and couples with baby strollers and children. Perhaps it's rare to see someone alone on a holiday morning? I ordered at my table by scanning a QR code. For breakfast, there were toast options, French toast, banh mi, etc. You can add toppings like avocado or fried eggs even without a set. The coffee in the set was refillable. French toast set with soup (¥1,950) Set coffee (¥350) I had the French toast breakfast set, and my companion had the banh mi. The coriander was piled on the plate, and we were told to sandwich it to our liking, but it seemed like a lot of work (laughs). The French toast sauce melted in my mouth instantly, with a softness that didn't seem like bread. The salted whipped cream did a good job without being too heavy. There was also a bit of marmalade jam on top. Bacon, fried egg, quinoa salad - a menu that is irresistible for those who like a slightly sweet and salty taste in the morning. The cold pumpkin soup was delicious, and the crispy croutons were also tasty. I wish the coffee was a little more delicious. It was a morning with breakfast earlier than the usual commuting time on weekdays♪ It was a fulfilling holiday trying out the French toast that I had been curious about at a shop I had always wanted to visit. Today, 46 people have also saved this place, which is really popular and surprising. 2023.09.16.sat.8:00-

I came to Ichigaya for a stylish morning activity! I arrived around 7:45 on Saturday and was the 8th in line, just barely getting a table inside the store! The terrace seats were also full by around 8:15. You can also eat the bread sold in the store! The chili dog with cheese, spicy sausage, and a crispy bun had the best combination of textures - fluffy, crispy, and chewy!

Two types of bread and a deli plate topped with sausages. The sausages had a soft and gentle texture. One type of bread had a trendy high-hydration bread flavor, soft and chewy. Later on, we also tried their French toast, which wasn't too soggy but still retained its original high-hydration texture, fluffy and chewy.

- French Toast Combo 1,580 yen - Topping (Avocado) 180 yen - Set Drink (Iced Tea) 380 yen I arrived around 9:30 am on a weekday. The restaurant was full, with 3 groups waiting outside. I was able to enter around 10:10 am. The French toast, which seems to be the most popular item, was decently tasty, but I felt like the price and atmosphere played a big role in the overall experience. If I'm going to pay 2,000 yen for breakfast, I would want something more unique and delicious. I also thought that there must be other decent restaurants out there where you don't have to wait as long and can still enjoy good food. Paid with auPAY.

The access from Kojimachi Station was good, about a 3-minute walk. I visited around 11 am on a weekday and there were already about 25 groups waiting, so I checked in and passed the time nearby. It was great to be able to see the remaining number with a QR code. The French toast paired well with savory dishes, and as someone who likes sweet and salty flavors, it was the perfect menu for me. The French toast was delicious, so I also bought some bread being sold in the store. Looking forward to eating it.

In the morning at number 4. Sitting on the terrace. During the summer, the vinyl sheet was lowered to store the cool air, giving it an indoor feel, but now that it's cooler, the vinyl sheet has been rolled up. It truly feels like a terrace. A luxurious morning that briefly makes you forget you're in the city. There is a plate on the table with a QR code. Although mobile ordering is the norm, I like to go to the counter and place my order while discussing with the staff. Today, I ordered the "French Toast Plate" which comes with bacon, eggs, and salad. I requested the eggs to be cooked over medium without flipping, and the bacon to be crispy. Please also bring some maple syrup. The staff took my requests with a smile, which was comforting. As I waited at my table, the waitress brought me coffee and mentioned that the vinyl sheet will be put away until winter, smiling warmly. It's a great place indeed. After a short wait, the food was ready. The kitchen staff asked if the cooking was to my liking, which was appreciated. The bacon and eggs were cooked perfectly, and I replied with a smile, "Yes, it's perfect." The plate was vibrant with green, red, yellow, and brown colors. The sunny-side-up eggs looked delicious even before I took a bite. I started with the salad, which was fresh and crunchy with a quinoa and herb dressing. The eggs were perfectly cooked, with the yolk oozing out and blending with the crispy edges of the white. The bacon was crispy and flavorful, with a hint of burnt fat adding to the experience. The French toast made with brioche bread was exceptionally tasty, especially with the salted butter and marmalade topping. Of course, I couldn't resist adding maple syrup. The combination of sweet, sour, and bitter flavors was delightful. The last bite, with bacon and French toast together, was a perfect ending. As I left the restaurant with a smile, I thought, "I need to walk a lot today."

I arrived at 9 am on a weekday and waited for about 20 minutes. I was prepared to wait longer, so I consider myself lucky. The seating inside the restaurant is limited, and many people were dining on the terrace, but it was too hot for that. I recommend dining inside. I ordered the French Toast DX with sausage topping and a chamomile tea. The grand menu starts at 11 am, which was a bit disappointing. The French toast was topped with whipped butter and had a delicious gentle sweetness. The combination with the salty sausage, bacon, and sunny-side-up egg was excellent. The egg was runny. It was a luxurious brunch. Thank you for the meal.

Surprise! Delicious! Probably the best breakfast I've ever had. That's why everyone lines up for lunch every day. No. 4 is truly amazing! I give it a No. 1 in my heart. (laughs) The fried eggs, bacon, French toast, etc., are seriously outstanding. I want to try the bread corner next time. Get energized and let's do our best for the day! ❤️

The pumpkin flavor is rich and delicious!! I love No.4's French toast! The limited-time pumpkin season has started, so I went to try it right away. The pumpkin flavor is rich!! The paste is not too sweet and the pumpkin flavor comes through perfectly, it's a perfect match ( ˙-˙ )♡ When they had strawberry and mango, I thought it was a bit too sweet, but this time it's exceptionally delicious! They serve until 8:30 pm, so even after work you can go smoothly and enjoy it✨ On weekends, there is a long line starting in the morning! In the evening, some people enjoy drinking with pizza, making it perfect for dinner too! They also have terrace seating✨ Only the free seating on the veranda allows dogs^_^ Thank you for the meal♡

I used it on Saturday morning. I checked in at the tablet in front of the store before 7:30 and was the third in line. When I entered, there was a crowd and by 8:30, there were people waiting outside as well. I ordered French toast by scanning the QR code on the table. Water was self-service. The French toast had just the right amount of moistness and was very delicious with maple syrup. The interior of the store is simple, but there is a stylish terrace seat. I think it's nice that they open early in the morning. I felt it was easy to get in early in the morning, but it seems to get quite crowded at lunchtime, so you may need to kill time somewhere after checking in.

Visited Café Hyakumeiten 2022 on a Thursday at 2:00 PM, with 11 groups ahead of me. They offer daily lunch specials featuring world cuisine approved by embassy staff from various countries. Discovered this place while searching for top 100 restaurants near Yotsuya Station. Bought an assortment of bread without knowing much about it - chose the 700 yen option with nuts. They asked if I wanted a bag for an additional fee, to which I said yes. Paid a total of 720 yen including tax, and was able to use a card for payment. The next day, I toasted the bread and it was delicious.

Visited the cafe around 6 pm on Thursday, September 7, 2023. It's a luxurious cafe in the city center, almost full. I later realized it's called No.4, probably because it's on the former site of NTV4. The menu offers French toast, pizza, burgers, etc. I ordered the No.4 Burger (¥1480) and a craft beer Sour Lemon (¥700). The burger had a generous amount of mayo-mustard sauce, which spilled onto my clothes. The large patty was flavorful, with lettuce, tomato, and gherkins. The buns were toasted. The potato salad had a unique taste with mustard and pickles. I was full. The Sour Lemon craft beer had an interesting sourness. The cafe has a cozy atmosphere and is likely busy on weekends.
